Chapter 97 The Kindergarten Supervisor (shuhaige.net)

Just as Bu Li had planned, the children arrived at the principal's office without incident, and the process went incredibly smoothly.

Yin Zhu, who was walking at the back, closed the door and turned around to look around the room as usual.

Upon entering, you are greeted by a glass coffee table. To the left of the coffee table is a leather sofa. Beyond the sofa, you can see an expensive mahogany desk and a swivel office chair. The office chair is backed by a glass window, and the blood-red curtains are currently drawn, obscuring some of the bookshelves next to it.

The view outside the window is of the kindergarten, but compared to the kindergarten's vibrant colors, the somewhat gloomy streets outside seem faded and worn.

"Who brought her? Is she trustworthy?"

After confirming that they had arrived safely at the principal's office, one member began to voice his concerns, unable to resist raising the questions that had been lingering in his mind.

Yin Zhu didn't speak, but turned to look at Bu Li.

Bu Li nodded to the person and introduced Yin Zhu to everyone: "I brought her. She was Teacher Hao from Class 2 before, you can call her..."

“Hao Sun,” Yin Zhu quickly interjected.

“Yes. In short, based on my observation, she also wants to leave here, so I think she's fine and on the same path as us.” Bu Li stood casually with his hands in his pockets.

Logically speaking, this is a very cool move, but because the performer is a short and stocky child, his chubby little hands are put into the clean and tidy pockets of his kindergarten uniform, which makes it look a bit funny and childish, like a child imitating adult behavior.

However, Yin Zhu came to gather intelligence, not to chat idly.

Therefore, Yin Zhu quickly interrupted Bu Li's introduction and spoke frankly to the others: "I came on my second day and I don't know many of the rules for toddlers. I hope you can provide me with some so that I don't accidentally step on a landmine."

One of the short-haired girls blinked, seemingly agreeing with Yin Zhu's reasoning, but didn't give a direct answer, instead steer the conversation elsewhere:

"Our [Kindergarten Secret Society] is dedicated to defying the rules of kindergartens, striving to uncover the truth of this world, and restoring fairness to all kindergarten children, instead of allowing the bizarre to rule humanity."

Hearing this, Yin Zhu was speechless for a moment: "Don't be so formal, can we get to the point?"

Moreover, Yin Zhu didn't think their dreams were very realistic.

Sin City is Sin City. Going out might not be as comfortable as staying here, especially since the rules explicitly require teachers to protect children. It's practically the second safest area after temporary apartments.

As for why the apartment manager thinks this place is dangerous and says that innocent people are being killed here... wake up, there are basically no innocent people in Sin City.

However, this did not stop Yin Zhu from going with the flow.

"So, have you found the rulers of the kindergarten? What are we supposed to do?" Yin Zhu interrupted the short-haired girl's empty promises.

I don't know if it's a case of birds of a feather flocking together, but both Bu Li and the female member of the secret society in front of me are top-notch at using language to make grand promises.

But Yin Zhu doesn't need anyone to make empty promises to her!

No matter how nicely you put it, you are all just a bunch of criminals trying to escape trial.

Interrupted halfway through her sentence, the short-haired girl showed her slight dissatisfaction with Yin Zhu on her face: "Is there any need to ask? Of course it's that boy we couldn't see when we were teachers."

Although she answered Yin Zhu's question, her tone wasn't very friendly.

“That’s right. Even the head of the teaching department bows and scrapes to him, which means he’s the most powerful person in this kindergarten.” Another boy chimed in mysteriously, “And I’ve discovered a pattern.”

What pattern?

"I discovered that the boy's appearance was conditional; he didn't appear in every class often. He would only appear when there was only one teacher in a class."

"so……"

Yin Zhu suddenly turned her gaze to the statue on the desk.

The statue has a charming, doll-like face, yet it presents itself as a god who loves the world, showing no signs of being alive.

Yin Zhu asked, trembling:

Is it possible that our supervisor is watching us?

Yin Zhu's words made all the children's pupils contract in shock, as if space itself had frozen, and no one dared to speak. They looked at each other, waiting for someone to speak first.

"Speaking of which, you've probably had many gatherings here before. Since nothing's happened before, nothing should happen this time either."

It was Yin Zhu who broke the silence once again.

It wasn't a question; Yin Zhu was absolutely certain the answer was yes.

Bu Li nodded, relaxing slightly: "Let's exchange the intelligence we've gathered these past few days and see if we can find any clues."

He paused, then raised his arm and held up three fingers: "I didn't run into him this week, but I discovered three new pieces of information:"

"First of all, when a child is sick, that is the highest priority. All staff members must be concerned about the child’s health first, regardless of whether the child has violated any rules before.

"Second, when a class has no teachers, the head of the teaching department will promote one of the children to become an adult;

"Third, the bird-beaked doctor is not the person in charge."

As Bu Li lowered his hand, another child raised his hand: "I have new information this week. I found out that the supervisor hates growing up. Combined with the fact that we found the supervisor looks a lot like the idol, and the headmistress is his mother, I suspect that the supervisor has experienced being forced to grow up by his parents."

“No one in our class was stupid enough to provoke the supervisor this week, so there were no cases of people being marked by the supervisor and then killed in the cafeteria.” The short-haired girl stood to one side with her arms crossed.
