As Yin Zhu stepped out of the kindergarten, she suddenly felt that the air was much fresher, which made her feel somewhat at ease.
Perhaps it is still the fragrance of freedom.
It doesn't smell like polyethylene.
More than the kindergarten itself, Bai Hai moved Yin Zhu to tears. In a place like Sin City, a pure and innocent toddler died, only to be given a second chance at life by his mother sacrificing her own. After losing his mother's care, Bai Hai created his own kindergarten and eventually, over time, completely integrated into the environment.
Bai Hai is very much like someone highly corrupted by rules, the only difference being that he won't actively attack the Chosen Ones.
According to data from Blue Star, indigenous people lose their rationality when exposed to different levels of pollution.
As for why Bai Hai could remain conscious despite being severely polluted, Yin Zhu had no idea. He only knew that this did not match the "behavior of those polluted to different degrees" that the think tank had shown him during his special training on Blue Star.
Like the mother in "The Green House," she initially only took action when the Chosen Ones broke the rules after being corrupted. As the corruption deepened, she gradually assimilated her family members and created opportunities for the Chosen Ones to break the rules.
Generally speaking, the more corrupted a person is, the less rational they are, and the more they become integrated into the eeriness of that world.

"Isn't that water cup from the kindergarten? Is it okay if I take something from the kindergarten and leave?"
"Consider that a gift. Also, you've been fired."
"Didn't I graduate? How come you... Hello? Hello? Hello!" Before Yin Zhu could finish speaking, the other party hung up on her, and when she called back, all she heard was the cold system voice:
"Sorry, the number you dialed is not in service. Please check and dial again."
Damn it, you think you can just get rid of me with a thermos?
Yin Zhu, somewhat unconvinced, unscrewed the lid, held it up, and poured it into her face. Unfortunately, there wasn't a single line of dialogue inside, not a drop of water in the cup, only a light piece of paper that landed on Yin Zhu's nose.
Smear it directly on your face.
Yin Zhu's eyes had to get extremely close to see the words on the colored paper:
