Chapter 115 The Apocalyptic Manor 25 (Part 2)

Chapter 115 The Apocalyptic Manor 25 (Part 2)

Wen Qi didn't expect the new guest to be so direct, asking about vegetables right off the bat.

It must have been someone else who recommended this place, most likely Li Xianwen.

Upon seeing the newcomer, Wen Qi began to assess his strength.

The energy fluctuations within his body are slightly stronger than his own special ability, classifying him as a D-level ability user.

He must have broken through to D-level quite a while ago, but Wen Qi has temporarily determined that he poses no threat to her.

"Hello, I am the owner of this estate," Wen Qi said politely.

"After you check in, if you are a guest of our manor, I can answer these questions for you."

"Oh, okay." The man stared blankly at Wen Qi and said in a low, wooden voice.

His voice is very pleasant, and he seems quite honest.

"My name is Zang He. Please check me in, manor owner."

Immediately afterwards, Zang He pushed open the door and walked in.

"Your name has a rather unusual surname. You saw the rules at the entrance, right? Remember to follow them," Wen Qi said kindly as she turned around.

Then he led Zang He into the manor hall.

...

"How many days are you staying?" Wen Qi asked.

Zang He took out all the strange coins he had and pushed them to Wen Qi.

"I only have a little over 20,000 Ghost Coins, and I want to use them as much as possible to order food in addition to staying at the hotel."

Wen Qi did some mental calculations and realized that if she wanted to order as much food as possible, she could simply stay during the day and use all the remaining Ghost Coins to order food.

The fact that the guests don't stay here actually reduces the burden on me, since I've already given up on passing the highest level of the test.

It just means that my brother and I will eat fewer vegetables, but we can devote more energy to cultivation.

Simply eating fruits and vegetables to absorb energy is not a good thing.

However, if so many vegetables and fruits are not used properly to become stronger, but instead their lives are lost here, it would be a complete loss.

We can only spend more time on practical training while maximizing energy absorption.

After thinking for a moment, Wen Qi gave Zang He a suggestion.

He said, "You're going to use all 20,000 Ghost Coins, right? From now until 6 a.m. tomorrow, you'll need 2,200 Ghost Coins."

"The minimum charge for ordering food is 2,000 Ghost Coins per dish. For dinner and breakfast, you can order several dishes at once."

She could have suggested that Zang He stay until 6 p.m., which would have only cost 200 ghost coins.

But she eventually changed her mind; she figured she could save on the cost of every dish she could.

Wen Qi didn't have any idea how long the guests wanted to stay.

All the guests need to do is empty their pockets of all the ghost coins they have at the manor.

“Alright, then we’ll do as you say.” Zang He spoke slowly, looking at Wen Qi with a hesitant expression, unsure whether to continue.

He paused for a moment, then asked, "Can we order now?"

Wen Qi shook her head. "Please abide by all the rules and regulations of this manor. You will be responsible for any consequences of violating them."

No sooner had Wen Qi finished speaking than Ling Xiao came downstairs.

He had seen Wen Qi go out to greet Zang He earlier, and he saw it all clearly.

"Hello, you'd better do as our beautiful estate owner says. Following the rules isn't difficult, and it's for your own good."

Ling Xiao rested one hand on the escalator and held a glass of water in the other, looking at Zang He with a calm and composed demeanor, much like a cool and aloof nobleman.

The burn scar on his face only added to his pitiful appearance.

Then, facing Wen Qi beside him, he nodded slightly in greeting before turning and going back upstairs.

He muttered to himself, "He's average-looking, but pleasing to the eye. However, the master probably wouldn't want a subordinate like him; he's not as approachable as I am."
