Chapter 232 B City Experimental Base 17

"What else do you know?"

Bai Sang stood up, his aura suddenly becoming sharp and imposing.

"You know her."

Bai Sang didn't even use a question in this sentence.

Wan Haiyang was stunned for a moment, and hesitation and struggle appeared in his eyes. His back was also soaked with cold sweat.

"I...I don't know what you're talking about."

Bai Sang walked to Wan Haiyang's side and gently patted his shoulder.

“You know Number 3. Besides following me, you also follow Number 3.”

"The reason you're following me is because I can help Number 3, right?"

"Since you know Number 3, you must know Number 3's mother, the one from earlier, right?"

Wan Haiyang's legs went weak, and he almost fell to the ground.

"I, I..."

Bai Sang bent down and approached him.

"Did I hit the nail on the head?"

"Go ahead and tell me. I hate it when people keep secrets from me."

"Tell me the truth, and I might be able to help you."

Wan Haiyang turned pale and finally managed to utter a single sentence.

"I'll go ask."

Bai Sang nodded, "Go ahead."

She picked up the work report that had just been delivered to the table and handed it to Chi Yuan. Only after Chi Yuan finished writing his own work report did Bai Sang stand up.

"Whether No. 3 replies or not, I have to go there again tonight."

"Does Mother have any consciousness? Where is the source of pollution? Where are the anti-pollution agents?"

"We must resolve these issues as soon as possible."

Gu Yuan glanced at the previous meeting minutes.

"Mother was mentioned in previous meetings, but not recently. However, judging from the previous records, they seem to want to launch Mother."

"We must act quickly."

Bai Sang rubbed her temples.

"We'll go to a meeting first."

"Xiao Lü, if Wan Haiyang comes, tell him to wait for me here and not go anywhere else."

Checking the time, Bai Sang picked up her meeting minutes notebook and went to the conference room on the E6 floor.

"Hey, Minister Bai."

As I stepped out of the elevator, a charming woman came towards me.

"I'm from the logistics department. You can just come to me if you need anything."

Bai Sang smiled and nodded.

"Okay, I'll have to trouble you then."

She looked at the head of logistics, the head of security, and the person in charge of the canteen all coming to the conference room, and she was somewhat puzzled.

What does this meeting have to do with these people?

After the base leader appeared in the front seat, he glanced at Bai Sang with a smile.

"The main topic of our meeting today is the issue of activating Mother."

What are everyone's thoughts on this?

The former head of the logistics department spoke first.

"Whatever decision the base commander makes, our logistics department will certainly give it our full support."

The cafeteria manager also spoke up.

"We are the same."

The Minister of Security looked serious, and Bai Sang felt that he should say something very reasonable.

"After you make your decision, Base Commander, I will arrange the security work for the security team. Please give your instructions."

The base commander looked at Bai Sang with a smile as he saw that everyone was leaving the decision to him.

Bai Sang smiled somewhat naively, "I just arrived and have only looked at some information. I don't know anything about it."

Upon hearing this, the base commander's expression changed.

Bai Sang acted as if she hadn't noticed anything and continued speaking.

"It could take several days for me to get familiar with the situation, so let's not delay things any further."

“The base commander knows our base inside and out, and I definitely trust his decisions.”

The base commander nodded in satisfaction.

"Alright, everyone take these three days to prepare. After three days, we will awaken Mother."

Three days.

Bai Sang knew that time was running out.

The base commander rambled on for a while, then looked at Bai Sang.

"Minister Bai, bring me the work records you've compiled in a bit."

Bai Sang nodded.

"If you don't mind, would you like to sit in my office?"

The base commander followed Bai Sang to her office with a smile.

The little green fox brewed the tea and served it, then quickly darted to the side to become a background prop.

"I worked so hard to get you to the top, and you didn't let me down. You handled things very well today."

Bai Sang gestured for the base chief to drink tea, and then sat down opposite him.

“I am well aware that I was promoted by you, so naturally I must put you first in everything.”

"Base commander, don't worry, I understand these principles."

The base commander smiled, stood up and walked around the room, then casually pushed open the door to the rest area.

The base commander was taken aback by the brand-new pink items.

"Well, I always feel that things that other people have used aren't very good."

Bai Sang spoke somewhat shyly.

The base commander looked at Bai Sang's smile and said, "That's true, girls are generally more tidy. But have you noticed any records?"

Bai Sang looked puzzled. "What record?"

The base commander looked at Bai Sang, and perhaps seeing that she had no other emotions besides confusion, he shook his head. "It's nothing. If you find any records left by the previous head of the research department, remember to hand them over to me directly."

Bai Sang immediately nodded in agreement.

Before leaving, the base commander glanced at the bookshelf and asked, "How much do you know about Number 3?"

Bai Sang's heart tightened. "You mean number 3? What happened to him?"

"My interaction with him was yesterday when he came to my room for a while. I asked him about his professional knowledge and thought it was quite good, so I recommended him to you."
