Ten minutes after the start of the cat-and-mouse game.
A set of rules has been spread throughout the community.
"What? Only two people can survive in the end?"
"These rules look fake. Let me take a look."
How do you know this is fake?
"How did you become an elite and get into this strange tale? Your brain isn't working properly, is it?"
"Oh, brother, you've figured it out. I don't have anything else to offer, my main advantage is good luck."
Bai Sang listened to the conversation outside, trying hard to remember the lucky voice.
In such strange tales, luck often outweighs ability.
The person who eats meat but not garlic pressed their face against the only small window, peering at the figures outside.
"Everyone's gone."
After watching for a while, "Eat Meat, Don't Eat Garlic" whispered to Bai Sang.
Bai Sang nodded and thought for a while.
"The rules say that you need to figure out who the cat is and who the mouse is."
"If it's a game of cat and mouse, then who decided that the cat is always the cat and we are always the mice?"
Bai Sang's words were a refreshing surprise for those who eat meat but not garlic.
"Boss, you're right."
"Then what are we doing here? It's dark and smelly. Let's go up there and turn our guns around."
"With just the two of us, plus our two brothers-in-law, I refuse to believe we can't become cats!"
Bai Sang smiled and nodded.
"You're right, I don't like mice. It's more fun being a cat."
Le Yuan stretched.
"Finally I can go out, that's great, I still want to bask in the sun."
Bai Sang rolled her eyes at Le Yuan, "You're such a weirdo, and you like to sunbathe."
Le Yuan crossed his arms and lazily followed Bai Sang.
"I'm a high-level weirdo, after all. I have to maintain this kind of status, right?"
Bai Sang chuckled lightly, "Let's go, I'll satisfy your need for prestige."
Even the two who were still invisible couldn't help but stretch in the sunlight.
It's more comfortable to stay in a world full of sunshine.
"Let's go."
Bai Sang waved to the person who eats meat but not garlic.
"Should we check the security office and the property management office first?"
A suggestion: eat meat but not garlic.
Just as he was about to go to the security office, Yun Yuan strode back.
He frowned, stood ramrod straight, and handed Bai Sang a few sheets of paper as he walked over.
"These are what I found in several households. There's nothing else of value besides these."
Bai Sang took it and casually asked, "Have you seen the security room and the property management office?"
Yun Yuan shook his head.
"That's what I find strange too; this residential area has no exits."
Bai Sang looked around. Since she arrived at this strange place, she hadn't found the main entrance.
She initially thought she hadn't seen it.
It turns out there really wasn't any.
"Let me take a look first."
Bai Sang separated the rules from the rule of eating meat but not garlic, and pondered them separately.
[Rules of the Cat and Mouse Game]
1. A cat may not necessarily be a cat, and a mouse may not necessarily be a mouse.
2. The hiding places of mice are beyond your imagination.
[3. Players beware, a cornered mouse can bite.]
The simple first set of rules confirmed Bai Sang's guess.
"Boss, look at this one."
He ate meat but not garlic and handed over his portion.
[Residential Rules]
[1. The exit of this community will open in three days. If you do not meet the clearance requirements, you will be allowed to remain as a permanent resident.]
2. Do not enter residential buildings at night, do not greet residents, and pretend not to see residents if you encounter them.
3. Nothing within the community may be damaged; any damage will be subject to corresponding consequences.
4. If you encounter any problems, please do not contact the property management or security guards. You are not currently a resident of the community, and if they find out, you will only be kicked out of the community.
5. The area inside the residential compound is safe; the area outside is dangerous. Please do not attempt to leave.
Both sets of rules are very useful.
Bai Sang's gaze fell on the community's residential rules, and she thought for a moment.
Is it really dangerous outside the residential area?
The street outside appears to be wide and straight, though there isn't a single person in sight...
Bai Sang suddenly thought of something and turned to look at Yun Yuan.
"When you went to look for these places, did you see any residents?"
Yun Yuan shook his head.
“Every house has household items, so it looks like someone lives there.”
"I went into many rooms, and they were all like this, but I didn't see a single person."
Bai Sang thought for a while and then handed the rules to Yun Yuan.
"Make some changes, and find someone to give them to him."
"If I'm not mistaken, someone is actually watching us right now."
The thought of eating meat but not garlic made me suddenly look up at the window that reflected the silvery light in the sunlight.
He shuddered.
"No, it's not that we just can't see them, is it?"
Bai Sang did not look up.
"It's hard to say."
"Let's go, it's almost time."
After all this fuss, the agreed-upon hour is almost up.
"Since he's hard to find, he'll eventually come out."
Bai Sang smiled as she looked at the person who ate meat but not garlic.
"Yes, he's pursuing someone else, let's pursue him!"
Yun Yuan had already returned.
“I put the rules under that rock over there, with just a corner sticking out, so you can see them at a glance.”
Bai Sang nodded.
"We don't know what will happen next. If there's any danger, we'll be counting on you two."
Le Yuan's gaze immediately fell on the person who eats meat but not garlic.
They eat meat but not garlic, demonstrating a strong will to survive.
