"elder brother."
Qin Mingjia skipped out in front of them, still wearing their high school uniform.
"Come on, what are you spacing out for?"
Looking at his living, breathing sister in front of him, Qin Minglang burst into tears.
"Why are you crying? Let's go quickly. You're a senior in high school now, or you'll be late."
Qin Mingjia pulled Qin Minglang forward.
"Brother, do you think we can stay together forever? Will you leave me and go somewhere else?"
Qin Minglang stared blankly at Qin Mingjia, seemingly having forgotten to speak.
"Brother, will you always stay by my side from now on?"
"Brother, let's not be separated from now on, okay?"
Qin Minglang suddenly raised his hand and touched Qin Mingjia's hair in front of him.
"Mingjia, you have to take good care of yourself from now on, okay?"
Qin Mingjia seemed not to have heard Qin Minglang's words and continued to speak with a smile.
"Brother, we can't be apart."
Qin Minglang raised his hand and pushed Qin Mingjia, saying, "You're not Mingjia, you should leave."
The scene before my eyes shattered suddenly, like a mirror breaking.
The scene before Qin Minglang's eyes transformed back into a hospital morgue.
This time, however, the white light had a slightly greenish tint.
Eating meat but not garlic is like having an invisible hand gripping your neck and lifting you into the air.
Qin Minglang gave a cold laugh.
Here we go again.
His sister, Qin Mingjia, would never say such things. She has always supported him in leaving that small town and developing his career in a big city.
She had always wanted a lively sister-in-law, someone she could go shopping and play sports with.
Qin Minglang's eyes flickered for a moment, then he looked at the man who ate meat but not garlic, whose face had turned red, and smiled calmly.
As long as he doesn't believe it, the illusion will crumble on its own.
One minute later.
The struggle to eat meat but not garlic has clearly weakened.
Qin Minglang suddenly raised his hand and pinched his arm.
It hurts a lot.
Holy crap, it's true!
He called out "Bai Sang," drew his sword, and slashed at the man who ate meat but not garlic.
"Chirp—"
A sound of pain came from within.
Bai Sang and Chi Yuan had also arrived by this time.
He lay half-reclined on the ground, eating meat but not garlic, looking at Qin Minglang in front of him.
"elder brother."
His voice was hoarse.
"I thought you were possessed by some evil spirit. I was about to kick the bucket and you were still there laughing at me."
Qin Minglang awkwardly dug his toes into the ground, almost tearing through the ghost story.
"Are you alright?" Qin Minglang took out a stamina recovery potion and gave it to him to drink.
Eating meat but not garlic quickly brought me back to normal.
He stood up.
"There's an unseen creature here."
Qin Minglang also remembered his discovery and took out the rule sheet.
"I've discovered the rules, but not the rules for passing the level."
Morgue Rules
The morgue is always a restricted area in a hospital. When moving around here, please be aware of the following points.
[1. The morgue can only be entered at night; it is forbidden to enter during the day, or you will become food.]
2. The lights must be on whenever anyone is in the morgue, otherwise curious visitors will come to see you.
3. Harming the Baby Crying Bird is strictly prohibited; anyone who harms it will be hunted down.
Bai Sang breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing this; they had not violated any of the three rules.
But why was eating meat but not garlic still met with criticism?
4. Show respect to all the deceased and do not touch anything on the mortuary.
He gasped, "I just wanted to see if there was anything on that bed."
Bai Sang nodded, understanding.
This is true.
5. You must leave before dawn, and you cannot take anything from the morgue, especially the corpses.
Bai Sang scratched his head. Who would have nothing better to do than take a body from the morgue?
"Based on these rules, it seems that none of these beds can be touched, so the rules are most likely not on these beds."
They have searched the entire morgue.
There isn't one at all.
"Could it be in the freezer?"
Chi Yuan looked at the cold, silvery-white object in front of him with a grin.
These colors were familiar and comforting to him.
Bai Sang hesitated for a moment, then opened the cabinet closest to her.
There was nothing in the cabinet except a black body bag.
Bai Sang closed the freezer and looked around warily, but nothing happened.
It seems the freezer can be opened.
Immediately, the five people frantically opened and closed the freezer.
Finally, in the last freezer, on top of a black body bag, they found a pure white envelope.
[Oh, we've finally found them!]
This hospital hides many secrets, such as the cries of infants, the fox-faced man, and the morgue. You need to find one of them to leave this place and return to your own world.
However, a secret is a secret, and you won't be able to easily find out the results. Remember to keep trying!
This rule left Bai Sang and her teammates somewhat confused.
He scratched his head, saying, "Eating meat but not garlic is a bit strange."
Qin Minglang frowned. "Yes, the previous ones were like tasks assigned by a machine, but this one is very human-centered."
"It's like a letter someone wrote to us."
Bai Sang nodded.
"It says here that we won't be able to find out the results easily, but we've already met the baby crying and the fox man, so the secrets of the morgue are still unclear."
"No matter what, let's figure those two things out first."
Chi Yuan looked at the last freezer that hadn't been closed yet.
