Just as the old lady was about to explode, Chi Yuan gave her a look.
The little boy didn't realize anything was wrong and kept making faces at Bai Sang.
The old lady pulled her mischievous grandson back. Bai Sang thought for a moment and then waved to the little boy.
"Come."
The little boy ran over, and Bai Sang handed him a lollipop, saying, "Keep it up."
Chi Yuan suddenly smiled slightly. "My sister is really smart."
Soon, Bai Sang heard the little boy crying and the old lady scolding him.
Bai Sang contacted the security team directly, saying, "Someone here is beating and verbally abusing a patient."
The security team arrived quickly. They checked both parties' identities and immediately took the old lady and her grandson away.
Bai Sang patted his white coat, turned around, and continued forward.
"Doctor, did you notify the security guard?"
The girl who was being harassed called out to Bai Sang.
Bai Sang turned to look at her, but did not answer.
The girl tugged at her oversized hospital gown, smiled, and said thank you.
"Doctor, wait a minute."
Suddenly, she called Bai Sang back.
"I keep hearing someone crying on the rooftop while I'm in the hospital. I call the security team, but they always say there's no one there. Can you help me check?"
Bai Sang thought that if she were playing a game, this would definitely be an NPC assigning tasks.
What will you do if I refuse?
Bai Sang asked a question.
The girl's smile vanished instantly. "I'm going to report you."
Bai Sang chuckled, "I was just joking. I'll go up and see if it's this building."
The girl immediately smiled and said, "Yes, doctor, thank you!"
There were many patients in the inpatient department. Bai Sang saw several familiar faces among them and quickened his pace.
The rooftop terrace.
Apart from the white sheets drying in the sun, Bai Sang didn't see a single person.
The wind made the white sheets flutter loudly.
Chi Yuan pulled Bai Sang back, his voice low, "Someone's here."
Bai Sang was stunned.
Sure enough, there was a faint figure behind the sheet.
The person stood motionless amidst a white sheet fluttering in the wind.
Bai Sang watched for a while, "Shall we go take a look?"
Chi Yuan smiled and stood in front of her. "Let's go."
Pulling the sheet off her face, Bai Sang heard crying in the wind. Her vision blurred for a moment, and she subconsciously murmured to herself.
“Someone is really crying.”
Chi Yuan grabbed Bai Sang's hand, "Don't listen."
A cold sensation came over her, and the dazed feeling disappeared. Bai Sang looked at Chi Yuan without saying a word.
The figure remained motionless.
The cries sounded faint yet clear amidst the wind.
Walking up to the standing figure, Bai Sang was surprised to find that it was a pregnant woman with a high belly and a smiling face.
"you……"
Bai Sang uttered only one word, and the pregnant woman's abdomen deflated instantly, like a balloon punctured by a needle. The smile on her face turned into fear and hatred.
"Give me back my child! Give me back my child!"
She reached out to grab Bai Sang's neck, but Chi Yuan shoved her away.
The woman sat on the ground, breaking down in tears, crying, "Give me back my child."
Bai Sang remembered the baby's resentment and hurriedly asked, "Where is your child?"
"At the dean's..."
Her words, along with her figure, disappeared into the wind.
The crying stopped.
Bai Sang looked around.
She had a vague feeling that countless eyes were staring at her from under the white sheets.
At the same time, the voice in her earphones started playing a message about eating meat but not garlic.
"Distinguished leaders, please have a seat."
The interview has begun.
Bai Sang turned and went downstairs, listening intently to the sound in her headphones.
A voice filled with anger and sarcasm rang out.
"Dean, you seem to be living a very comfortable life, you've even forgotten about the important matters."
After a brief pause, the voices calling for eating meat but not garlic rang out again.
"You know, I just became the dean and I was completely clueless about everything. I didn't even dare to ask during the meetings."
"What exactly do I need to do now?"
These words calmed the man's anger.
"Take a look at this. From now on, follow this routine every three days. Don't forget."
Bai Sang walked out
The voices rang out again in the inpatient building.
"Have you finished watching?"
The idea of eating meat without garlic is a bit difficult.
"This is too easy to expose something wrong. What will happen to the hospital's reputation then?"
The man laughed heartily, clearly enjoying himself.
"The hospital's reputation? You don't need to worry about that. Why do you think the security here isn't as good in comparison?"
"We'll only have a chance if there are more unplanned pregnancies."
Before Bai Sang could react, she heard footsteps and the sound of a door opening and someone leaving.
After a long while, a sigh came through the headphones: "Eating meat but not garlic."
Back in her office, Bai Sang sent a message to "Eat Meat, Don't Eat Garlic".
When the man who eats meat but not garlic arrived at Bai Sang's office, Lin Xiaoyu was also there.
"doctor."
"Xiaoyu, why are you here so early today?"
Bai Sang asked with a smile.
Seeing this, the person who eats meat but not garlic sat down to the side.
"Everyone went out to play during our activity period today, so I thought I'd come here to do my homework."
Bai Sang glanced at Lin Xiaoyu's schoolbag, smiled and nodded, "Okay, but I have to go out for a bit, you can write over there."
Bai Sang pointed to the empty table in the corner.
Lin Xiaoyu nodded vigorously.
"By the way, doctor, thank you. When I got home at noon, that woman and her son gave me the letter severing ties."
