The man looked at the group of people and smiled.
His smile was bright, yet carried a hint of aloofness.
It doesn't make you feel disgusted; instead, it inspires admiration.
"I will die."
"I cannot guarantee that you will all come back alive."
"The opponent was very, very powerful, once..."
The man didn't continue speaking, and looked at the four people.
"You still have a chance to regret it."
Song Xiaofu smiled and looked at the man.
"I am Sangsang's best friend, and I want to be with Sangsang."
"Eat meat but not garlic" and Qin Minglang, along with the little green fox, followed suit and spoke up.
"I want to go too."
"Yes, we're brothers with the boss, so of course we have to help."
"My brothers-in-law were quite kind to us back then..."
The little green fox stopped talking halfway through its sentence.
The man smiled softly.
"Your brothers-in-law have all become me. Aren't you a little disappointed?"
The little green fox shook its head repeatedly.
"As long as they treat my sister Bai well, I won't be disappointed."
The man smiled.
"I took her back to her room to rest, and we'll leave once she wakes up."
Eating meat but not garlic seems to remind me of something.
"Wait a minute, if the big boss doesn't wake up, we'll have to move on to the next ghost story in five days."
The man did not stop.
He tilted his head slightly. "Can't get in."
I don't know what he meant, but his confident tone made everyone breathe a sigh of relief.
"Well then, sister and brother-in-law, please get some rest. We'll be going now."
Behind the man, the little black dog grinned and stuck out its tongue as it followed.
Giant Mimi and Tiger trembled as they followed Song Xiaofu out the door.
Song Xiaofu cleverly left the third floor and moved into the guest building with the little green fox and the others.
Bai Sang slept for five days straight.
He was very nervous about eating meat but not garlic, fearing that he would be absorbed into the supernatural tales while Bai Sang was asleep.
Bai Sang woke up on the eighth day after they returned from the ghost story.
"It feels like I had a dream."
Upon seeing the man before her, Bai Sang murmured something.
"Xingyuan, it seems like I had a dream."
The man smiled when he heard Bai Sang call out his name accurately.
"So, the murals I saw in those strange tales about immortals with dragons were just a small part of what you experienced."
She looked up, her fingers hovering a few centimeters from Xingyuan's face.
"So, you did so much for me."
Xingyuan grasped Bai Sang's hand and gently pressed it against his face.
"I'm back."
Bai Sang stared blankly at Xing Yuan, her eyes filled with undisguised sadness and tenderness.
Is it over yet?
Xingyuan nodded.
"It's about to end."
"Once you've rested, we'll go find him."
When Bai Sang appeared before everyone, Song Xiaofu's eyes turned red with excitement.
"Sangsang, you're awake! You're finally awake!"
She rushed over and hugged Bai Sang's arm.
Bai Sang gently put his arm around her shoulder.
"I'm fine, I just slept for a long time."
"You've been sleeping for a long time, haven't you? Today is the sixth day."
Song Xiaofu's words made Bai Sang frown.
"It's already the sixth day, so haven't we gone to see any new ghost stories?"
"No, my brother-in-law said that with him around, we don't need to go to the new ghost stories."
"Eating meat but not garlic" was a statement made with a strong will to survive.
Xingyuan glanced at the young man who ate meat but not garlic and thought he was very sensible.
"Yes, with me here, you don't need to go on any more ghost stories."
"Take a good rest, then we'll head straight to his headquarters."
We've set aside three days for rest and recuperation.
It's neither long nor short.
Bai Sang and the others prepared a lot of props as Xing Yuan instructed.
Bai Sang also took out the special props that the little black dog had found for her, as well as those he had found in various ghost stories.
When he saw the end of the world, a trace of nostalgia flashed in Xingyuan's eyes.
He gently gripped the sword in his hand.
"Your old buddy is back too."
"And the dragon and the white fox, they all say they're going to where they're meant to go to wait for their master, they must be waiting for you too."
A hint of a smile flashed in Xingyuan's eyes.
"Probably. That guy split me into seven pieces and suppressed me for so many years. I don't know if they've found another wise ruler."
Bai Sang smiled and shook her head.
"I don't think their attitude makes them seem like they're leading a wise leader."
"But after so many years, they don't remember me anymore."
Bai Sang's tone was full of sighs.
Song Xiaofu and the others couldn't understand at all, and didn't dare to speak.
They all blinked their big eyes and looked at Bai Sang.
That evening, Bai Sang, Song Xiaofu, and the little green fox took the little black dog for a walk in the garden.
"My story with Xingyuan dates back ten thousand years."
"Back then, Xingyuan was a war god."
As Bai Sang said this, a hint of nostalgia flashed in her eyes.
Xingyuan is the God of War, and she, who is with Xingyuan, is naturally also an extraordinary being.
However, she did not particularly emphasize her abilities.
"Later, the seal on Purgatory loosened, and the evil god was born. Unfortunately, the first person the evil god found to possess was me."
"In order to save me, Xingyuan was broken into seven parts by the evil god and scattered all over the world."
"And I fell into a deep sleep, until I woke up in this life. During the time I was in a coma, I went through all the events of the past in detail."
