Chapter 89 The Train to Paradise 5

Indeed, the car kept moving all night.

"Oh, right."

Bai Sang took out the train ticket.

The arrival time on their tickets was five days after the day they boarded the train.

"We'll be on the bus for another seven days."

"This is only the first night, and we're already completely exhausted."

I frown if I eat meat but not garlic.

But they all knew very well that they had no choice.

"Let's go."

Carriage number 13.

"Sister, have you seen my mother?"

The little girl with dark eyes hugged Bai Sang's leg and asked softly.

Bai Sang's gaze swept across the noisy carriage, and she shook her head.

"I didn't see it."

The little girl lowered her head, looking somewhat dejected.

"Sister, this is a picture of my mother. If you meet my mother, please ask her to come to this carriage to find me, okay?"

Just as Bai Sang was about to refuse, Yun Yuan had already taken the photo.

"good."

Bai Sang suddenly looked up at Yun Yuan.

But then they saw Yun Yuan squat down and gently pat the little girl's head.

"Don't worry, Uncle will help you."

The little girl smiled sweetly, and her pure black eyes didn't seem so scary anymore.

Bai Sang remained silent.

Qin Minglang turned his head away, his eyes already red.

He patted him, indicating that they should continue walking.

Carriage 13 was crowded, and Bai Sang and his companions struggled to make their way through the throng.

The short carriage was filled with strange smells, and it felt like we had been walking for a long time without reaching the end.

"Strange, why did it take so long to walk?"

Bai Sang asked a question, but received no reply from anyone behind her except Yun Yuan.

"Where are the two of them?"

Yun Yuan looked around and narrowed his eyes.

“We have been separated; we are now in three different spaces.”

After listening to Yun Yuan's words, Bai Sang felt the scene in front of her changing little by little.

"Sangsang, you're back."

At Sangyuan Manor, Song Xiaofu held a giant cat in one hand and a small black dog in the other, calling out Bai Sang's name with a smile.

"I'm completely better now, let's go out and have some fun later."

Bai Sang wanted to say that there were too many strange tales outside and it wasn't safe, but when she met Song Xiaofu's smiling eyes, she couldn't say a word.

"Okay, wait for me a moment."

Inside the manor, everything was exactly the same as when Bai Sang left.

Gu Yuan, Mo Yuan, Chi Yuan, Chen Yuan, Yu Yuan, and Yun Yuan sat in the living room in six strange postures.

When they saw Bai Sang, they all looked up and smiled gently at her.

"You're back."

Bai Sang greeted him with a light smile.

"Sister, are you going out? Take me with you."

Chi Yuan ran over and hugged Bai Sang's arm.

Bai Sang thought for a moment.

"I went out with Xiaofu today, and I'll take you with me tomorrow."

Chi Yuan pouted unhappily, but still sat back down on the sofa.

Bai Sang's gaze swept across Liu Yuan's face, but she said nothing before turning and leaving.

"Sangsang, you're so slow, let's hurry up."

Song Xiaofu grabbed Bai Sang's hand; the hand was icy cold, which filled Bai Sang with a strange fear.

Was it because she returned too late that Song Xiaofu was unable to suppress the pollution and became a monster?

"What’s wrong with you?"

Song Xiaofu leaned closer to Bai Sang and spoke in a somewhat strange tone.

"Xiaofu, you, are you still..."

No matter what Bai Sang said, she couldn't bring herself to say the rest.

She just opened her mouth in vain, unable to make a sound.

Song Xiaofu, who was standing in front of her, seemed to be getting further and further away.

She kept leaning forward, saying something, her eyes full of curiosity.

"Sangsang, what are you thinking about?"

Someone patted my arm.

Bai Sang suddenly turned around, and it was Song Xiaofu again.

They stood at the university gate, bathed in sunshine, with people coming and going on the street, showing absolutely no sign of the ghost story unfolding.

"If we don't leave now, we'll be late for work."

Oh right, both she and Song Xiaofu have to work.

Grandma hasn't been feeling well lately, so she can't let the old lady get tired.

But didn't Grandma pass away?

As soon as the idea came to mind, Song Xiaofu pulled her along and ran towards the coffee shop where she worked.

After running a few steps, the thought from before completely disappeared.

"After I finish work today, I need to go to the library."

"I'm determined to get the scholarship this semester."

Song Xiaofu is full of energy.

Bai Sang's eyes welled up with tears as she watched Song Xiaofu running in the sunlight.

Xiaofu is so wonderful.

"Sangsang, you have to work hard too. Don't let Xiao Ruoruo outdo you. I heard she studies in the dorm until midnight every day to compete with you for the scholarship."

"She's been getting quite close to the counselor lately, so be careful."

Bai Sang shook her head.

"It's alright, don't worry, she..."

He died in a ghost story.

Just like before, I just can't bring myself to say those words.

As Song Xiaofu ran, she drifted further and further away from her.

Bai Sang chased after him desperately, but she couldn't catch up no matter what she did.

"Sangsang, I'm hungry."

A childish voice rang in Bai Sang's ears.

Bai Sang was startled and turned her head.

The little girl, Song Xiaofu, had a dirty face with several red and swollen marks.

I'm a little hungry.

Seeing Bai Sang staring blankly at her, Song Xiaofu said another sentence.

"Come on, let's go to my house, my grandma is home."

Bai Sang said the exact same words as back then.

"My grandma is steaming buns today."

Two little children appeared hand in hand in front of a building that wasn't too dilapidated.
