Chapter 186 Nanling Prison 17

The little green fox sighed.

"Back when things were better in our area, weren't there plenty of reporters like this?"

"I just don't understand how these people became journalists."

Bai Sang took a sip of the pearl and chewed it.

"Perhaps at the very beginning, everyone was still a passionate young person, but in the end, they changed."

Little Green Fox: If you don't chew the pearls, this statement is quite serious.

Bai Sang finished the last sip of her milk tea and looked at Chi Yuan.

"Do me a favor."

The day was like any other: time for fresh air, lunch, a midday rest, and work.

Apart from Gu Yuan, who was extremely busy in the warden's office, everyone else seemed to be quite idle.

Bai Sang even taught the little green fox a few fighting techniques.

"I don't know much either, but I hope I can save your life in a critical moment."

The little green fox nodded vigorously and stood aside, seriously pondering the moves that Bai Sang had just taught it.

The sky gradually darkened.

Gu Yuan's side has only just finished halfway through.

As Bai Sang led everyone to dinner, he glanced at Deng Feifei.

Deng Feifei looked down and felt herself being bumped.

She looked up, then suddenly looked down again.

She had something extra in her hand.

After hesitating for a moment, Deng Feifei swallowed the small pill in her hand while eating dinner.

Before lights out at night, the iron door of the cell was pounded on rapidly.

White Mulberry and Little Green Fox were on patrol when they heard the noise and rushed over.

She's dead!

A female prisoner spoke with some fear.

Bai Sang knew who it was without even asking. Her expression remained calm. "Who died?"

"Number 23, Deng Feifei."

Bai Sang nodded, opened the cell door, and carried Deng Feifei out with the little green fox.

"Move to the consultation room first, then call the doctor to come and take a look."

The little green fox nodded, and the two carried Deng Feifei into the interrogation room.

The female prisoners all strained their ears to listen to the commotion outside. They only closed their eyes when they heard the doctor arrive and the sound of Deng Feifei being carried out.

In the silence, someone sighed.

"It's better that he's dead."

It's better than being hopelessly locked up in this cage.

They regretted it, but unfortunately there's no going back.

midnight.

Deng Feifei, who was lying on the bed in the infirmary, suddenly disappeared.

A figure flashed by.

Then, another body that looked remarkably similar to Deng Feifei appeared on the bed.

Chi Yuan returned to his office, looked at Bai Sang who was already fast asleep, quietly approached her, and bent down.

A cool yet loving kiss landed on Bai Sang's cheek.

The little green fox's snoring grew louder.

Chi Yuan draped the blanket over Bai Sang, glanced at the little green fox, and then looked away expressionlessly.

She's smart enough to know her place.

I had arranged to meet the reporter in the afternoon, but the reporter, having heard rumors, arrived in the morning.

"The warden has some clever methods."

"The car is already waiting outside, but where are the people?"

Bai Sang pointed outside.

"The infirmary needs someone here; you can go and fetch them."

She looked at the reporter and said with a smile, "It's my duty. If I work a day job, I have to be responsible, don't you think?"

The reporter smiled broadly, "You're right, you're right, Warden, you're truly a role model for us all."

Bai Sang smiled but didn't say anything.

The reporter went straight to the infirmary.

Bai Sang looked at Chi Yuan.

Chi Yuan nodded. "It's done."

Bai Sang sighed; things had come a little too quickly.

She picked up her phone.

"Hey, Gu Yuan, how's it going? Yes, they've arrived."

After a moment of silence, Bai Sang nodded. "Let's begin."

After hanging up the phone, Bai Sang stood up and looked at the little green fox, "Call everyone to the outdoor exercise area."

The little green fox nodded and began making phone calls one by one.

Fifteen minutes later, everyone from the prison was standing in the activity area.

This includes both prisoners and staff.

"I'm standing here today because I want to tell you something."

"Does anyone want to appeal?"

ā€œI’m giving you a chance. If you want to appeal, step forward now.ā€

No one moved; their eyes were filled with surprise and suspicion as they looked at Bai Sang.

Bai Sang smiled at the crowd.

Ruan Jiaoyun pushed through the crowd and stood at the very front.

"I...I want to appeal."

Bai Sang nodded and smiled at her.

"Gu Yuan, take her there."

It must be getting chaotic outside by now.

Outside the prison.

Deng Feifei's body was transported to an inconspicuous courtyard.

The burly man looked at the woman in front of him with her eyes closed, who had completely lost all life, raised his knife, and stabbed her viciously.

Just as he plunged the knife into Deng Feifei's chest, the door was pushed open.

A tall woman walked in.

"Dean Tan, what a lively scene! Are you killing someone for fun?"

If Bai Sang were here, she would definitely recognize that this woman is one of Lin Daiyu's top lieutenants.

Dean Tan suddenly stood up straight, the knife in his hand still stained with black blood.

The woman who had been stabbed opened her eyes tremblingly and cried out, "Help!"

Soon, the incident of a court president surnamed Tan in the city maliciously injuring someone made the news.

Inside the prison.

Is that all?

Gu Yuan nodded, showing no signs of fatigue despite having worked all night.

"I have already asked Lin Daiyu to pass it on to her subordinate."
