Chapter 704: Forced to Play the Game, Rock-Paper-Scissors

"What's going on?"

Bobo was very surprised.

The two held each other's arms tightly and began to observe their surroundings carefully.

The entire corridor was filled with a thick smell of humidity, and traces of dripping water could be vaguely seen on the walls.

On the way, they passed through several rooms and heard the sound of slippers being thrown from the rooms.

The two stopped and looked into the room.

The lights in the room were dim, and a group of chosen ones were sitting on the floor, throwing their slippers around.

Every time a slipper leaves their hands, a soul leaves their room.

Chi Yaoyang and Popov watched this scene silently, feeling a faint sense of loss in their hearts.

They understood that these souls were the Chosen Ones from the past, and they wanted to leave alive, so they came to haunt the Chosen Ones.

Chi Yaoyang noticed that there were relatively more watermarks on his door, which made him feel uneasy.

But he had already chosen Victoria and could only refuse, so Chi Yaoyang decided to find a place to sleep on the street and left the hotel.

He strolled along the street and sensed a strange atmosphere in the air.

The puppets on the street walked past him quietly, expressionless, as if the radiant people had never existed.

Chi Yaoyang chose a secluded corner and curled up.

But no matter what, this strange and weird world did not bring him peace.

Suddenly, a strange sound came from a distance.

Chi Yaoyang looked up and saw an open-air market filled with many soulless puppets.

They kept shaking and making clanging sounds.

One of the puppets was very close to Chi Yaoyang. He had a haggard face and his expression could not be seen clearly in the dark.

Suddenly, the puppet raised its head and looked at Chi Yaoyang, its eyes empty and weak.

Chi Yaoyang shuddered, suddenly got up, turned around and tried to escape from this horrible scene.

Finally he returned to the hotel, threw his slippers out of the room, and then took sleeping pills and went to sleep.

The next morning, Chi Yaoyang was sitting in his room when a dull, powerful knock on the door broke his thoughts.

When he opened the door, Popov was standing outside with a worried look on his face.

"Brother, come out quickly! We should go find that 'thief'!"

Popov said enthusiastically.

Just as Chi Yaoyang and Popov were discussing their next course of action, they suddenly heard a knock on the door.

The two looked at each other warily; neither of them expected that someone would come to their door.

Chi Yaoyang walked slowly to the door and opened it carefully.

Several people in work clothes stood outside the door and greeted them with a smile.

"Hello! We are the staff of the amusement park, responsible for game activities. We received news that you are interested in our games. Do you have time to participate?" asked a young female staff member.

Chi Yaoyang frowned. He didn't have time to play games now.

He and Popov looked at each other and realized that this might be a trap.

Suddenly, Chi Yaoyang quickly stretched out his foot and kicked the staff standing at the door hard.

Seeing this, Popov immediately jumped up and rushed out of the room following Chi Yaoyang closely.

The staff screamed loudly and immediately started chasing the two.

Chi Yaoyang and Popov kept running through the intricate corridors, trying to get rid of their pursuers.

The tense atmosphere in the amusement park made Chi Yaoyang feel uneasy.

They walked through a winding garden, and the surrounding scene was blurry.

They could hear the staff breathing heavily and footsteps approaching.

"quick!"

Chi Yaoyang roared softly and continued to lead Popov forward.

He and Popov crossed a street that was full of people.

The various shops and restaurants exuded tempting aromas, and the lively atmosphere made them gradually relax.

However, at this moment, they saw a group of people in work clothes coming in front of them and quickly blocked their way.

"We are surrounded!"

"It's okay, follow me!"

Chi Yaoyang spoke calmly, very composed.

He suddenly took a step forward and quickly punched one of the staff members.

The staff member had no time to react and was hit in the cheek by Chi Yaoyang's fist and fell to the ground.

"You bastard!"

The other staff members were furious and shouted immediately.

Popov was shocked, but did not show any weakness.

He stretched his muscular arms and clenched his fists.

Anyone who approaches him will feel a huge threat.

He was like a cunning leopard, nimbly dodging the staff's attacks and counterattacking at an extremely fast speed.

After a fierce battle, Chi Yaoyang and Popov finally opened an escape passage leading to the commercial street.

Popov fled into a nearby telephone booth, sweat streaming down his forehead.

He looked around and found that the interior of the telephone booth was small and crowded. Through the glass window he could see the staff surrounding it stomping their feet and roaring angrily.

But unfortunately, Chi Yaoyang was unable to run into the phone booth. Several staff members held down his hands and feet and he was unable to move.

Onlookers stood by, watching this dramatic scene with curiosity.

Suddenly, Chi Yaoyang struggled with all his might, but he still couldn't get rid of the restraints of the staff.

"Go! Find the thief!"

Chi Yaoyang knew that time waits for no one.

Afterwards, he was taken to the restaurant, where he heard the voices of the staff.

"Today's game is rock, paper, scissors! You need to double up!"

A hint of helplessness flashed across Chi Yaoyang's face, but he did not show any emotion.

There was mockery in the staff's eyes, and they looked at Chi Yaoyang as if he were a trapped animal.

Chi Yaoyang took a deep breath. He knew that there was no escape from the current situation and he could only choose to play games here.

Although he was filled with anxiety, he maintained a calm expression and accepted the challenge calmly.

We walked to a huge venue, which was surrounded by staff and other chosen ones.

He didn't have any extra time to think about the traps and dangers because the game was about to begin.

"Rock, Paper, Scissors!"

The staff loudly announced the rules and the participants raised their hands ready to punch.

Chi Yaoyang stared at his opponents in front of him, observing the tiny and imperceptible movements of each one.

The game has begun.

He watched coldly, observing the changes in his opponents' expressions, as he tried to hide his intention to punch.

However, with Chi Yaoyang's keen observation, every tiny and imperceptible movement was noticed by him.

Finally, Chi Yaoyang noticed that one of the chosen ones' eyes twitched before he threw a punch.

He suddenly realized that the other party was going to use scissors...
