Chapter 710: New World, New Crisis (New Book Release)

"I'll have a bottle of iced Kuo Luo this time."

Chi Yaoyang looked at the cool drink and felt an indescribable excitement in his heart.

He took the drink and unscrewed the cap impatiently.

An icy breath immediately hit him in the face, and he drank the entire bottle of Bingkuoluo in one breath.

At this moment, Chi Yaoyang suddenly disappeared from the spot.

Qin Yang looked around hurriedly, but couldn't find any trace of him.

"Chi Yaoyang! Where are you?"

Qin Yang shouted anxiously.

But there was no response.

Unexpectedly, I didn’t need to enter the rule matrix this time and could directly start the ghost story copy.

..........

Chi Yaoyang opened his eyes again and found himself in a warm and comfortable room.

The sunlight pouring in through the windows adds a sense of peace and tranquility to the entire room.

He looked around and found that the room was neatly arranged, with household items neatly placed, exuding a warm atmosphere.

Just then, he noticed a boy and his parents nearby.

They looked at Chi Yaoyang with a smile.

Chi Yaoyang couldn't help but feel surprised that Guiguai could behave so gently.

He smiled back, but he knew in his heart that the warmth was only superficial.

In this world of rules, everything is subject to strange changes and dangerous unknowns.

He continued to observe the family, trying to find any unusual signs.

Four people sat at the dining table. Plates of rich breakfast filled the table, emitting an enticing aroma.

Chi Yaoyang didn't pick up his chopsticks for the time being, but looked around.

The furniture and furnishings throughout the house appear exquisite and tasteful.

He noticed a calendar on the wall filled with various activities, and on one of the sheets of paper was a list of family rules and regulations.

【Rules for a Good Family】

【1: Your bedroom is a safe place. 】

【2: Do not enter other family members' bedrooms at will. 】

【3: You must leave home before your parents leave and come back before your parents come back every day.】

【4: Don’t call your family members by the wrong names.】

【5: Good children should listen to their parents. 】

【6: The elder brother is gentle and trustworthy, but the younger brother will hurt you. 】

【7: When you meet a neighbor, you can offer him a drink of water. 】

【8: Take good care of your dog and only feed it water and dog food. 】

【9: Please do not talk to your family between midnight and 6am. 】

【10: Have dinner with your family, but don’t eat meat. 】

The fifth rule is marked in red. It seems to be a fake rule. You don’t have to listen to your parents.

Chi Yaoyang also noticed that the eighth rule was about dogs.

He looked around and found that there was another dog in the house, living in a doghouse with a lock on it.

He put down the rules and regulations and his eyes fell on the puppy in the corner.

The dog's posture is quiet and calm, as if it senses the change in atmosphere.

Its eyes are unusually full, revealing an indescribable wisdom.

Chi Yaoyang sat at the dining table, staring at the food in front of him with a dazed look.

The clock on the wall was ticking, as if tapping into Chi Yaoyang's inner uneasiness.

His father looked at him seriously and couldn't help frowning.

He cleared his throat, his voice a little suppressed: "Why don't you eat?"

Chi Yaoyang sat on the chair tremblingly, staring at the food on the plate with stiff eyes.

The father continued: "Eat well."

Chi Yaoyang nodded, silently took the spoon and began to taste the food.

Logically he shouldn't listen, but if his parents tell him to eat well at every meal, will he not eat?

It seems that this rule is just to tell Chi Yaoyang not to listen to everything and to think about his parents' requests according to the situation.

The warm smell emanating from the table and the silence among the family members created a special atmosphere, as if there were endless puzzles waiting to be solved.

His father stared at Chi Yaoyang with a firm gaze, carefully observing his every move while eating.

There was a tense atmosphere at the dining table, and the wall clock was ticking, as if urging the passage of time.

After finishing his meal, Chi Yaoyang silently stood up and left the table, leaving home early according to the rules.

I walked to the door and looked at a pair of clean and tidy shoes placed at the door.

He took a deep breath and felt the faint light outside the door.

"Chi Yaoyang."

My father suddenly appeared from behind and asked in a cold voice, "Where are you going?"

"Go out and play for a while, what's going on, father?"

"Come back as soon as possible."

The father said with a straight face.

Chi Yaoyang turned around and nodded to his father without saying anything else.

The cold wind at the door blew on Chi Yaoyang's pale face. He gritted his teeth and made up his mind to step out of the house.

His house was on the second floor. He walked to the first floor. There was no one on the road and the door of the building was closed. He walked slowly.

Chi Yaoyang opened the door and saw a thick fog outside. His vision was obscured by the fog and he could only see a vague outline.

A suffocating feeling of fear welled up in him.

The streets were filled with a chill and tense atmosphere, as if everyone was rushing to escape from this dangerous area.

The pedestrians passing by had empty eyes and expressionless faces, just like zombies, moving forward mechanically.

Chi Yaoyang stepped out of the house cautiously. He knew that in this strange world, any mistake or carelessness could lead to catastrophic consequences.

"Come back as soon as possible."

His father's cold tone echoed in Chi Yaoyang's mind.

He shook his head silently, shaking off these unnecessary thoughts.

The foggy streets grew darker and darker.

The cold wind blew on Chi Yaoyang's pale face, and he was the only one walking alone on the quiet street.

The further he walked, the blurrier his vision became, and he could feel the oppressive atmosphere approaching.

Before he knew it, he found himself caught in a strange vortex, the feeling of panic in his chest growing stronger by the day.

"No, you'll die!"

The voice in his heart told him that this was definitely not the way to leave.

He immediately returned the same way and came to the building.

Chi Yaoyang hid in the corner with his heart beating fast, watching his parents' backs as they hurriedly left. He gently closed the door and returned to his warm and safe home.

A familiar fragrance filled the room, and a wide variety of books were neatly placed on the bookshelf, as if the whole world had quieted down.

He carefully put the house in order again, as if nothing had happened.

Sitting on the sofa, Chi Yaoyang closed his eyes and recalled what his father taught him since he was a child: "Thinking and acting are the only way to survive."

He scanned the room with a serious look, searching for any possible threat.

Chi Yaoyang walked through the living room carefully, his eyes always fixed on the footprints left by his parents when they left.

Suddenly, a faint laugh reached his ears.

Chi Yaoyang's body stiffened. He immediately stopped and looked around vigilantly.
