Its originally docile and sensible eyes became somewhat threatening.
"I was just feeding you water and dog food, why did it turn out like this?"
Chi Yaoyang wondered secretly.
The big dog's eyes conveyed its dissatisfaction with Chi Yaoyang's behavior.
Suddenly, an idea came to his mind. He realized that he might have made a mistake.
But fortunately, the dog did not attack him, just its eyes turned a little red.
That’s right! Chi Yaoyang thought of something.
[The elder brother is gentle and trustworthy, but the younger brother will hurt you. ]
If I find my brother, will I be able to help him?
"Brother, do we still have an elder brother?"
"You are my only brother who loves food."
My brother grinned, but luckily it didn’t reach his ears.
Doubts arose in Chi Yaoyang's heart and he began to feel confused.
According to the rules, he should be the younger brother, but now his younger brother insists that he has no older brother and Chi Yaoyang is his only older brother.
He walked over to his brother and knelt down to be at eye level with him.
"Are you sure there is no big brother?"
Chi Yaoyang asked, a hint of doubt in his eyes.
His brother looked him in the eyes and shook his head firmly.
"No, you are my only brother."
Chi Yaoyang felt a tremor in his heart, as if something was slowly changing.
He clenched his fists and tried to calm himself.
"But I remember we still have an older brother."
The brother frowned and thought for a moment, "Maybe it happened before."
Hesitantly, he said, "But now it's just you."
This answer made Chi Yaoyang shudder.
It’s “now” that there’s only him, not “always” that there’s only him!
Chi Yaoyang stood up and looked around.
The scenery in the yard seemed particularly strange, as if conveying an invisible sense of oppression.
He subconsciously searched for clues, trying to sort out his thoughts.
The elder brother is gentle and trustworthy. If we are talking about himself, then this rule is to restrain him and prevent him from using violence or lying.
Chi Yaoyang's eyes flashed as he stared at the clenched fist in his hand.
"I can no longer rely on force."
"If the rules restrict me from using force, then I have to look for other options."
His eyes were firm and calm.
The younger brother looked at Chi Yaoyang silently, and raised his head from his thoughts. He watched his elder brother in deep thought and just watched quietly without disturbing him.
——"Little Yangshen is restricted by the rules! What a pity!"
——"Rules are indeed the core of this strange world, and Chi Yaoyang is like its captive."
——"How can I break free from the shackles of rules? Is the only way to do this is to obey them?"
——"This is too much. If you restrict violence directly, you will just be waiting for death."
Chi Yaoyang paced back and forth in the living room restlessly, his eyes fixed on every corner.
He hoped to find some clues that would lead to a way to leave.
The living room was so quiet that the only sound I could hear was my own breathing.
Chi Yaoyang searched every corner, opened drawers, and flipped through books, but could not find any relevant clues.
As I turned around, I saw my brother standing at the door of the living room. He looked at the mess in the house in surprise, with a smile on his face.
“Hehehe.”
"What's wrong?"
Chi Yaoyang walked towards his brother and stared at the gloating in his eyes.
"Brother...Mom and Dad will beat you..."
My brother whispered, pretending to tremble.
The younger brother held a cup and tried to calm down.
"But... why did the house become like this? Last time I messed up the house, my parents beat me up severely."
"It's okay, it was your brother who did it, your parents won't beat you." Chi Yaoyang tried to find out the clues, "What did your parents beat you with?"
"It's a whip"
The younger brother looked at him with doubts, his eyes somewhat innocent: "Brother, don't you know?"
Chi Yaoyang seemed to be thinking about something.
"It's been too long, brother has forgotten it."
Chi Yaoyang certainly didn't believe what his brother said, but it was unknown whether what he said was true or he was deliberately trying to influence him to stop looking for clues.
"Brother, don't worry. Mom and Dad won't come home so early. It's morning now, and they usually come back in the afternoon."
After hearing this, my brother let go of the cup with relief.
"Really? Then go on, brother."
There is a smile hidden in the words.
Chi Yaoyang turned and walked to the bookshelf next to the sofa in the living room and began to look through each book carefully.
But at this moment, Chi Yaoyang actually heard footsteps outside the house.
He was suddenly filled with panic and hurriedly put the book back in its place, trying to restore the tidiness of the room.
However, things got out of control.
The door creaked open and my parents' voices came, "Brother, brother, are you home?"
Chi Yaoyang looked at the dishevelled room, his heart in confusion.
He was sweating all over and trying his best to calm down.
“We are here!”
Chi Yaoyang answered with all his strength.
My parents were stunned when they came in. Their expressions gradually changed from surprise to sternness.
"What's going on? How did you two make such a mess in the room?"
My father had a stern face and looked very angry.
Chi Yaoyang lowered his head helplessly: "I'm sorry, Mom and Dad."
The mother sighed, "You guys always do these weird things! We just called and said we'd be going home early, so you should pack up in advance."
They gradually approached the bookshelf next to the sofa, and the father pointed at the book with a torn cover and asked, "What's going on? Why are you flipping through the books?"
