Chi Yaoyang sat silently at the dining table, his eyes showing a solemn look.
His parents sat next to him, smiling and anticipating his reaction.
The table was filled with four dishes and a soup, two of which were meat dishes, and the aroma of food was overwhelming.
He picked up the chopsticks carefully and his eyes fell on the braised pork placed in the middle.
The bloody piece of meat revealed a shiny surface, and the blood was still flowing, which was disgusting.
Chi Yaoyang felt nauseous and a feeling of nausea involuntarily rose in his throat.
The parents noticed that Chi Yaoyang frowned slightly.
"Son, when you eat at home you should respect the food we prepare for you," the mother said gently.
The father gently added: "Everyone has different eating habits, but you should also try new things."
Chi Yaoyang clenched the chopsticks in both hands, with no emotion visible on his face.
"Dad, Mom, I respect your choice, but please understand me. For me, this bloody meat is really inedible."
Chi Yaoyang answered calmly, without showing any extreme disgust.
The parents looked at each other, feeling somewhat displeased with Chi Yaoyang's picky eating behavior.
Yet they did not stop him from eating only vegetarian food.
"It's your choice, I won't interfere."
My father said with a smile.
The mother smiled and handed Chi Yaoyang the bowl and chopsticks, "Then have some of the vegetarian dishes and soup we prepared."
Chi Yaoyang relaxed his shoulders and took the bowl and chopsticks.
After dinner, Chi Yaoyang was assigned by his parents to wash the dishes.
The warm water and soapy suds made him feel a little tired.
He stood quietly by the sink, washing the dishes with great concentration.
He raised his head and looked at the night sky outside the window.
The stars are twinkling, bright in the darkness.
Just then, Chi Yaoyang heard the sound of light footsteps.
He turned around and saw his brother staring at his back while washing dishes with his big eyes blinking.
My younger brother seemed to have some unusual expectations.
"What are you doing?"
Chi Yaoyang asked somewhat uneasily.
"Brother, I...I want to wait until you're done before I go wash up."
She answered in a low voice, sounding somewhat pitiful.
Chi Yaoyang felt a little strange: "Why?"
The younger brother chuckled and said, "Because that's the rule."
Chi Yaoyang suddenly felt a chill and had an ominous premonition in his heart.
He stood at the bathroom door, looking at himself in the mirror.
His eyes were fixed on the clear words on the mirror: "Zero point is the real world."
He couldn't help holding his breath and his body trembled slightly.
The words flashed before his eyes, revealing a strange atmosphere.
He leaned closer to the mirror and looked at the words carefully.
Is something really going to happen? A question popped up in Chi Yaoyang's mind.
What kind of secrets are hidden in this strange house?
The sounds of washing could be heard intermittently, accompanied by the faint sound of flowing water, but all of this seemed unreal to Chi Yaoyang.
Chi Yaoyang calmed down and counted the time silently, saying in his heart: "Zero o'clock is the real world."
He planned to wait until midnight to see what happened.
Just then, faint footsteps were heard outside the bathroom.
Chi Yaoyang turned around suddenly, but saw only an empty corridor.
He couldn't help but frown. Where did the footsteps come from?
Suddenly, he heard a familiar voice coming from outside the door: "Brother."
He cautiously walked out of the bathroom, only to see his brother walking towards him.
There was blood at the corners of my brother's mouth and his eyes were empty and terrifying.
At that moment, Chi Yaoyang felt as if he was in a horror movie.
"You...what's wrong with you?"
Chi Yaoyang asked stutteringly.
His brother stared at him for a long moment, seemingly confused, then turned away.
His footsteps gradually faded away and disappeared at the end of the dark corridor.
Chi Yaoyang stood there blankly, his mind full of questions.
He shook his head, trying to sober himself up.
Chi Yaoyang took a deep breath and stepped into the kitchen.
The bloody smell of meat filled the air, causing him to cover his nose.
He stared into the refrigerator, feeling a sense of foreboding.
Chi Yaoyang slowly opened the refrigerator door, and the scene in front of him made him almost unable to believe his eyes. The space inside, which was originally filled with fresh ingredients and meat, was now empty, with only the smell of blood.
Counting the meats that had been placed in the refrigerator from the beginning to the end, Chi Yaoyang found that they had all disappeared.
All that was left were some blood stains at the bottom of the bowl and some broken bones.
The situation made him feel sick.
"He...what do you want?"
Chi Yaoyang whispered to himself.
He didn't know why his brother ate all the meat in the refrigerator.
Starting from the kitchen, Chi Yaoyang walked into the living room.
In the empty room, only faint moonlight shines through the window.
The terrifying environment made him feel more and more uneasy.
Suddenly, there was a scratching sound in the living room.
Chi Yaoyang clenched his fists tightly and listened attentively.
The sound became clearer and clearer, accompanied by the rustling sound of footsteps.
He turned in the direction of the sound and saw a dark figure approaching the living room from the corridor.
The dark shadow was exactly the younger brother he had just met in the bathroom!
Under the mottled moonlight, the younger brother staggered towards Chi Yaoyang. Blood dripped from his body onto the ground, making waves of disgusting sounds.
