Chapter 724 Strange Doll

"Leave us."

Chi Yaoyang knew that he could not stay any longer, so he could only give up this place temporarily and continue looking for clues.

He turned silently and left the third floor, walking along the stairs to the room on the right.

Pushing open the door, Chi Yaoyang found that the room was still empty.

A doll on the bed caught his special attention - it bore a striking resemblance to his brother.

The doll has the exact same appearance as his younger brother.

Chi Yaoyang couldn't help but feel an unspeakable fear.

He walked closer to the puppet, examining every detail.

It was wearing an ancient and unique style of clothes, and its eyes were bright and lively, as if it could watch Chi Yaoyang's every move at any time.

That smiling face was an exact mirror image of Chi Yaoyang's brother's face.

This similarity made him feel even more uneasy.

"What's going on?" he muttered, his fingers gently touching the doll's cheek.

Suddenly, the puppet let out a sinister laugh.

Chi Yaoyang was startled and quickly took a few steps back.

He realized that this room might not be safe, but at the same time he felt a strong curiosity driving him to continue exploring.

He approached the puppet again, trying to find out the reason and purpose of its existence.

Who is this puppet?

Why does he look so similar to his brother?

Is all this just a coincidence?

Chi Yaoyang stared at the doll that looked like his brother, and his heart beat rapidly.

As he tried to detect the puppet's secrets, he began to notice other creepy details in the room.

The room was filled with an eerie atmosphere, as if countless eyes were watching him in the dark.

The walls were covered with eerie paintings depicting distorted faces and twisted landscapes.

These paintings exuded a chilling atmosphere that sent chills down Chi Yaoyang's spine.

He moved cautiously to the center of the room, trying to observe more clues hidden in the dark.

Suddenly, a faint clicking sound broke the silence.

Chi Yaoyang subconsciously stopped and looked around vigilantly.

A breeze blew from the corner, blowing the swaying door curtain.

Chi Yaoyang narrowed his eyes and stared at the door curtain that looked ordinary yet extremely strange.

The door curtain seemed to have an indescribable attraction, as if telling some unspeakable secret.

He stepped towards the door curtain and gently lifted it.

A cracked wall appeared before my eyes, covered with paintings that seemed to be fixed with screws.

These paintings are similar to those in the other rooms, depicting distorted human figures and deformed landscapes.

Chi Yaoyang looked around, and his eyes finally fell on a news brief behind the painting.

He paused and frowned.

The headline on the newsletter read: "Bipolar Child Tied to Parents."

Chi Yaoyang silently pondered the meaning of this title.

He knew that bipolar disorder was a serious mental illness, and the news seemed to tell him that there might be a dark secret behind the puppet.

Do I have to untie the puppet's strings?

Staring at the puppet firmly, Chi Yaoyang calmly picked up the scissors.

He was about to cut the ordinary-looking but strange rope on the puppet.

Just then, a faint but clear laughter rang out in the room.

Chi Yaoyang couldn't help but shudder when he heard this, and a sense of foreboding surged in his heart.

He looked around but could see nothing moving.

Nervously, he leaned closer to the puppet and stared into its eyes.

He couldn't help but begin to doubt his own thoughts - maybe this was just an ordinary doll, nothing special about it.

However, Chi Yaoyang did not give up easily.

He double-checked that the rope was completely cut, to make sure he was not mistaken.

Just as he was about to leave, he suddenly felt a chill coming up from behind.

Chi Yaoyang turned around, only to find that the room was empty.

"What's going on?"

Chi Yaoyang asked himself in a low voice.

At this time, the footsteps of parents were heard downstairs, they were going home.

When I heard the footsteps, I immediately felt nervous.

He knew that time was running out and he had to leave here as soon as possible.

His heartbeat began to quicken, and Chi Yaoyang put down the scissors without hesitation and ran quickly to his home on the second floor.

As soon as he stepped into the room, Chi Yaoyang heard his parents' voices coming from downstairs.

He hurried into his room, trying to act as if nothing had happened.

As soon as the door closed, he breathed a sigh of relief.

He leaned against the door, panting, trying to control his emotions.

Suddenly, he heard his mother's gentle and slightly worried voice coming from downstairs: "Yangyang? Are you home?"

"I'm here."

Chi Yaoyang replied, trying to keep his voice calm.

After hearing his answer, Chi Yaoyang's mood stabilized a little.

He knew that he couldn't let his parents notice that he was abnormal.

When his parents went upstairs to Chi Yaoyang's room, he quickly adjusted his expression so that there was no trace of strangeness on his face.

Chi Yaoyang had a calm expression in front of his parents, but his heart was like a boiling volcano.

He felt a chill run up his spine, as if something terrible had happened.

"Are you okay?"

The father asked with concern, his brows slightly furrowed.

"fine."

Chi Yaoyang answered in the calmest tone possible.

The parents looked at Chi Yaoyang for a moment and seemed to be slightly relieved.

At this time on the third floor.

A dark figure walked out of the shadows and approached the puppet.

The sunlight shining on the black shadow revealed an incredible fact - that person was actually 's younger brother.

The younger brother gently stroked the doll's hair, his eyes revealing an inexplicable emotion.

He slid his fingers across the smooth surface, carefully touching it as if it were a treasure.

The parents seemed to realize something and looked at the third floor with ferocious eyes.

Chi Yaoyang frowned, feeling uneasy.

He had never seen his parents look so hideous, which made him feel weird.

Boom boom boom…

The heavy footsteps seemed to penetrate the building.

Chi Yaoyang's face suddenly turned pale. He heard his brother's footsteps coming down from the third floor. The sound was strange and dull.

He was filled with fear, a feeling like an invisible hand gripping his heart tightly.

"Dad, Mom, why are you tying me up?"

My brother's cries echoed in the empty room.

That voice was like a heavy weight pressing on everyone's heart.

Chi Yaoyang subconsciously took a step back, trying to control his inner anxiety.

When my brother walked into the living room, he was greeted by that ferocious face.

The madness and cruelty revealed in his eyes made Chi Yaoyang feel a chilling fear.

"Dad, Mom, why are you tying me up?" The younger brother said as he transformed into a strange monster with saliva in his mouth as if he wanted to eat something.

Suddenly, an amazing energy burst out from the parents, so powerful that it was suffocating...
