Chapter 744: Monsters Afraid of Water

The old building was in a dilapidated state, with broken windows and walls covered with vines and moss.

Just as he was about to turn around and leave, a bright light suddenly flashed by, and in the blink of an eye, Chi Yaoyang was teleported back to the building. The scene in front of him was a group of monsters with sharp teeth.

Chi Yaoyang felt a chill down his spine and took a few steps back in fear.

Why are you back again!

He could clearly feel the stench emanating from these monsters, which made him feel desperate.

The monsters opened their mouths and pounced towards Chi Yaoyang, and the violent storm-like roar made his heart palpitate.

He barely had time to think before turning and running away.

Chi Yaoyang used his extraordinary speed to move around the building, trying to get rid of these ferocious monsters.

Every time you turn a corner, you can hear the sound of monsters chasing you frantically.

Chi Yaoyang felt dizzy and shook his head, trying to clear his mind.

He didn't expect that he would end up back inside the building, which made him feel a little uneasy.

With his heart beating faster, Chi Yaoyang silently counted to thirty seconds, hoping to return to the church he had been to before.

However, when he counted the last second, the scene around him remained unchanged.

"How is that possible?"

Chi Yaoyang murmured in a low voice.

He began to wonder whether this place really existed or was just a desperate hallucination.

In any case, Chi Yaoyang knew that now was not the time to think.

He has to leave.

The stairwell had an eerie atmosphere, with the walls covered in ancient graffiti and blood.

Chi Yaoyang gritted his teeth and stepped onto the stairs without hesitation.

However, just as he was about to reach the bottom of the building, a huge claw suddenly stretched out from the ceiling, blocking his way.

Chi Yaoyang stopped and stared at the huge claw.

He could feel the threat radiating from the claws.

"How could such a terrifying existence exist?"

Chi Yaoyang's heart was filled with endless shock.

When Chi Yaoyang's eyes showed despair, his body seemed to react automatically and he took a few steps back.

He stared at the giant claw on the ceiling with horror on his face, and clenched his fists with all his strength.

"What's going on?"

Chi Yaoyang's heart was filled with endless doubts.

No matter how he thought about it, he couldn't explain what he saw.

The claws shook and made a low and hoarse sound, as if mocking Chi Yaoyang's helplessness.

Suddenly, a wave of cold, painful heat came over me, pouring out from under the stairs.

The flames quickly enveloped the entire stairwell, devouring the last bit of freshness in the air.

The flames gave Chi Yaoyang the courage to move forward, but also caused him unbearable pain.

Under the intense burning pain, Chi Yaoyang struggled to endure the severe damage.

He saw that his skin was burned by the flames and he had difficulty breathing due to the burning smell.

He took a deep breath, trying to suppress the pain in his body.

“I can’t stop here.”

Chi Yaoyang gritted his teeth secretly.

He lunged at the claws, attacking with all his might.

Although he knew that there was almost no chance of success in doing so, he could not be imprisoned in this terrible place any longer.

When he touched the claws, Chi Yaoyang felt an extreme chill.

Under the burning flames, Chi Yaoyang rushed towards the claw with all his strength.

As he touched the claws, an extreme chill spread through his body.

He sensed greater danger, but he did not stop moving forward.

Chi Yaoyang attacked the giant claw with all his strength without hesitation, even though he knew there was almost no chance of winning.

However, when Chi Yaoyang's fist touched the claw, he felt a huge force pushing him away.

He was forced to give up the attack and quickly took a few steps back.

The seemingly fragile body seemed to become an insurmountable obstacle at that moment.

"How is this possible?" Chi Yaoyang couldn't understand what was happening before his eyes.

Suddenly, the surrounding space distorted again.

Chi Yaoyang was brought back to the stairwell in the blink of an eye.

He was stuck in a cycle from which he could not escape, repeating the same scenario over and over again.

Chi Yaoyang felt exhausted and he didn't know how to break out of this endless cycle.

Chi Yaoyang felt very frustrated every time he was teleported back to the stairwell.

He wanted to find a way out, but found everything becoming difficult.

He tried to take in the details of his surroundings, but the stairwell remained a dark blur.

Chi Yaoyang decided to leave the stairwell again and look for another way out.

He hurried out of the building, and the scene before him gave him a glimmer of hope.

Not far away, there was a fountain quietly gushing out water.

Seeing the water in the fountain slowly flowing down, Chi Yaoyang hurriedly approached the fountain.

He hoped the water would ease his pain.

However, the moment the wound touched the water, he felt severe pain, as if his burned skin was being tortured again.

Chi Yaoyang forced himself to endure the pain, he knew it was the only way to survive.

He closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths, trying to calm himself down.

Chi Yaoyang felt very depressed and panicked, and found himself trapped in a cycle from which he could not escape.

The monster continued to chase him.

He couldn't help but spray the water he had just drunk onto the monster.

Watching everything happening in front of me in amazement.

The water in his mouth gushed out like a fountain. After coming into contact with the monsters, the monsters began to gradually melt and turned back into their original human form.

Wherever he looked, he saw a group of people with tired faces.

They were wearing ragged clothes covered with black stains.

But at the same time, Chi Yaoyang could not feel any emotions or breath of life.

These people seemed to be stuck in their own world and were unresponsive.

Chi Yaoyang approached one of them and tried to interact with him, but the man just stared ahead motionlessly.

They seemed to be fixed at a certain point in time, like sculptures without any movement.

Chi Yaoyang looked around and found a group of people he had never seen before.

Some of them were unfamiliar faces, but there were also his parents who seemed familiar.

However, what worried him was that he did not see his brother or the security guard who had been protecting him.

These people stood there, as if frozen in time.

Chi Yaoyang immediately understood that the people before him were not truly alive, but were souls that survived after being burned to death.

The thought made him uneasy.

He looked at the silent and frozen crowd, and an indescribable discomfort surged in his heart.

However, at this moment, Chi Yaoyang heard a strange sound coming from behind him.

He suddenly looked up, and in the dim moonlight, he found that those people had turned back into terrifying monsters...
