If an attack can eliminate a card, then why is there a difference in cost between attacks of the same type?

Jiang Ran stared at the [Spirit Flame Bone Dragon] card that Aiman had played. He had come up with the name on his own, and apart from the more majestic picture on the card, the symbol at the bottom had also changed.

In other words, as long as both of them play it safe, neither of them can break through the other's base.
Referees may lie anywhere in the rules, but they will never lie about the rules of winning or losing. If they say that destroying the base is the only way to win, then that condition must be met; there is no such thing as a draw.
Does that mean we need to find a way to replenish our hand?
Jiang Ran glanced at the two cards he had just received. One was the Necromancer, and the other seemed to be a priest, except that his head was a burning ghost fire.

Ayman's eyes widened. The [Ghost Fire Priest]'s ability was to draw cards? Based on Jiang Ran's actions in the previous round, as long as this card was still alive on the field, couldn't he keep drawing cards?
Two points of mana for two cards? You can't possibly lose money!
