Chapter 62 Sorry, I won’t do it again next time
The lights in the corridor were off, and Jin Siyang was immersed in the darkness, remaining silent for a long time.
He treated Cen Nian differently, but it seemed like there was nothing different about him.
Mingming hated trouble the most, but when he saw her worried about her grades and being laughed at by others, he thought that maybe her grades would improve if he taught this idiot a couple of questions.
Obviously, she was the person he shouldn't get close to, but he just couldn't help it.
Jin Siyang laughed at himself. Fate always played tricks on him, and this time was no exception.

The next day, the phone kept ringing. Jin Siyang answered it irritably. Si Man said gently, "Siyang, are you still awake? Mom will be home soon and wanted to come over to see you."
Jin Siyang was originally sleepy, but now he was completely awake. He was usually so calm, but now he started to wash and dress in a hurry.
He slipped on his shoes and knocked on the door.
Cen Nian woke up early, his mind a little fuzzy after the hangover, and he was sitting at the desk recalling what he had done last night.
Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. Cen Nian opened the door and said, "Jin Siyang, good morning!"
Jin Siyang pursed his lips lightly: "Cen Nian, come with me to a place."
"What?"
Jin Siyang had almost no time to think. He held her hand and walked around the garden. There was a narrow, low house next to it, one meter high, filled with miscellaneous items. When he opened the door, a smell that had been sealed for years hit him in the face.
It can only accommodate one person, and breathing is extremely difficult under the pressure of the clutter.
Jin Siyang brought Cen Nian in: "Stay here first. I didn't ask you to come out. Don't come out and don't make any noise."
"Why?" Cen Nian was puzzled. "It's dark, narrow, and full of clutter here."
But Jin Siyang had almost no time to explain too much to her: "Go in first, remember what I said."
Before Cen Nian could say anything, Jin Siyang closed the door, and the utility room was plunged into complete darkness.
Cen Nian watched the light gradually fade until it finally disappeared, and his nose couldn't help but feel sore.
Si Man came suddenly. When she arrived, Jin Siyang just opened the door. He adjusted his breathing and pretended to be calm. Even Si Man couldn't notice anything unusual about him.
The furnishings here have not changed for many years. As Si Man walked in, the past came flooding back like a tide. She suppressed the suffocation in her chest and looked at everything around her bit by bit.
"Mom, sit down. What would you like to drink?"
Si Man waved her hand: "You don't have to bother. I just want to come and see where my son has lived for so many years. Is he treating my son well?"
In addition to never being home and having no sense of responsibility towards his family and wife, Jin Jingming never lacks food, clothing, housing and transportation.
Jin Siyang has a lot of cards on him, and his family is taken care of by Uncle Li and Aunt Liu, so his life is not bad.
Si Man's real intention was not to drink. She just looked around the living room, then went upstairs and opened Jin Siyang's room. Everything here was tidy, except for the quilt that had not been tidied up in time.
"Mom, nothing has changed here." Jin Siyang said.
"Yeah, I see."
After Si Man walked out of the room, her eyes fell on the room opposite. A strong feeling prompted her to walk over uncontrollably. She had a stiff smile on her face: "That girl, does she live here? She didn't come out to say hello when I was here. Isn't that a bit rude?"
Jin Siyang spoke in a normal tone, showing nothing unusual: "She went back to her hometown for the New Year."
Si Man paused and said, "It's just a coincidence that I came here."
"I'm actually curious about what kind of girl she is." Si Man looked far away: "Are you good to her?"
Jin Siyang choked for two seconds. The man who had always been as still as a mountain now looked a little unnatural. "Not really. I'm not familiar with her."
Si Man observed his eyes and expression, and after a minute, she said, "Okay, Si Yang, you have to listen to your mother."
Si Man stayed for a long time, and only left slowly after having afternoon tea in the afternoon. Jin Siyang was occasionally distracted, but Si Man's repeated inquiries made him cheer up. When he saw Si Man off, he suddenly felt ridiculous.
When Cen Nian came down, she was only wearing a single layer of clothing. The Jin family had a constant temperature system, so she didn't feel very cold inside, but this small house was indeed freezing cold.
It was clearly enclosed so that no light could get in, but gusts of north wind still found ways to blow in. She was so cold that she bent over and rubbed her arms with her hands.
It was dark in here and there was a musty smell.
I don’t know how long it took, but Cen Nian got used to the cold here, but his head was a little dizzy.
She couldn't help but wonder, were his relatives here? Or were his friends here? It was just that she couldn't see them, so she had to hide here.
As he thought about it, Cen Nian leaned against the grocery box next to him and slowly closed his eyes.
Suddenly, a beam of light gradually enlarged, and there was a slightly anxious figure in the light.
Jin Siyang helped her up and patted Cen Nian's cheek: "Cen Nian?"
"Jin Siyang, it's so cold and dark here." Cen Nian muttered to himself.
Jin Siyang's Adam's apple rolled: "Sorry, let's go out now."
Cen Nian felt a little sad. He had brought her here for no reason, and after she had stayed here for several hours, she received an apology from him. Her emotions grew more intense. She said with a nasal voice, "Is it because we have guests?"
"Next time at this time, I can go out." Cen Nian's tone was not angry, nor was there any annoyance, and he did not feel wronged for himself: "Or, I can wait here and just give me some more clothes."
The narrow and deep space seemed to have difficulty accommodating two people. Jin Siyang almost stuck to her side and said, "Sorry, I won't do it again next time."
"sorry."
He lowered his eyes and apologized stubbornly: "I'm sorry."
When Cen Nian saw him apologizing, her nose felt sore. She had seen the cold, arrogant and noble Jin Siyang before, and he was always like that most of the time, but now he was saying sorry to her.
He looked sincere, pleading, and not knowing what to do.
"Don't say sorry." Cen Nian smiled. She wanted to say something else, but Jin Siyang put his arm around her shoulders and pulled her into his arms. "I'm sorry, are you cold?"
His warm body temperature continued to flow towards Cen Nian. Cen Nian suddenly widened her eyes and stood there in a daze. It was obviously her who was trapped here and she was the one who was cold, but when she leaned into Jin Siyang's arms, she found that he was trembling slightly.
"No, it's not cold anymore."
Jin Siyang felt something was wrong, so he loosened his grip on her and said, "I'm sorry."
Cen Nian was amused by him: "Are you sorry to the king?"
She tried to lighten the mood: "How come there is this little room in your house? I never noticed it before."
There was a strange flash in Jin Siyang's eyes. He didn't answer, but Cen Nian still felt something different.
After coming out of the small dark room, they deliberately kept their distance from each other. It was not known whether it was because of the hug or because she saw a different side of Jin Siyang, but the atmosphere between the two was filled with a slight awkwardness.
Jin Siyang walked behind her and suddenly said, "Do you remember what happened last night?"
Cen Nian looked at him somewhat confused.
Jin Siyang smiled, looking self-deprecating yet relieved: "It's okay if you don't remember."
Never mind, it’s better not to remember.
