Chapter 328 Forgiveness

"Smack!"

Hein slammed his hand on the table, covering the pair of blue fangs. He could see them very clearly; there were distinct patterns swirling around them. These were the fangs of a pure-blooded orc general. Hein could even tell at a glance that the emblem on the fangs belonged to the Warsong Clan.

Qin Mo, observing Hein's strange behavior, asked calmly, "Are those fangs enough?"

"Your Highness Qin Mo, that's enough. I will take care of Ms. Leif's formalities. Please wait a moment."

Hein dared not lie. Now everyone knew that Qin Mo was Princess Heatherine's person. If she was still not satisfied with taking a pair of orc general's fangs... This Secretariat was not without instances of being dismantled by the bigwigs of the Temple.

Qin Mo felt her sleeve being tugged, so she quietly walked outside with Leif to wait.

"Your Highness, I've heard before that my sins can be absolved by killing three elite orc warriors... Was what you just gave me... the orc general's fangs?"

The elite warriors of the orc race are the main force of the orc tribe. Their individual combat strength is comparable to that of a human cultivator in the Great Xia Dynasty. Leif's sins require her to kill three elite warriors, which she could not possibly accomplish in her lifetime by herself.

"Hmm! I didn't have any of the elite warriors' fangs; I gave them all to Xu Luo and the others..."

"Well...."

Leif was stunned for a long time, her eyes filled with regret. She hadn't expected that Qin Mo was completely clueless about the merit exchange system, while she had been inquiring about how to clear her sins since she came to the temple, and had thoroughly investigated some of the secrets of the Secretariat over the past two years.

"Your Highness... thirty pairs of elite orc warriors' fangs are equivalent to one pair of a general's fangs..."

Seeing the conflicted expression on her face—wanting to get those orc general's fangs back but not daring to—Qin Mo smiled and gave her a gentle pat on the head, saying calmly, "Leve, you have to be magnanimous. Once you've made a decision, you can't go back on it, understand?"

Leif was won over by Qin Mo's gentle head pat. She nodded her head, remembering the word "magnanimous" and making it her guiding principle for the next few decades.

"Ms. Rave, this is your new identity document. You and your father have received the forgiveness of the gods!" Hein was very efficient. The identity document stamped with the Riga Temple was quickly handed to Rave. It clearly stated that Rave's father and her family were devout believers of the temple and loyal subjects under the light.

Looking at the temple seal on the document, Leif knelt down excitedly, clasped her hands together, and silently thanked the gods for finally forgiving her and her father's sins. Qin Mo, standing to the side, was very annoyed. "It's clearly my achievement, okay? And you're thanking some gods? Tonight, I'll show you who's in charge."
