Because of Wang Yushi, the Xu family was highly favored within their clan, and the clan leader entrusted the family's foundation, the city of Suyab, to the Xu family for management.
Suyab City is strategically located in the Western Regions, a place of social unrest and complex ethnic groups. Although the Great Xia Dynasty maintains a large military presence in Parthia, it is primarily for defense against the orcs; they would never interfere in the conflicts between the various powerful clans of the Western Regions. The Xu family's decision to hand over Suyab City to the Xu clan may well have been motivated by a desire to leverage Wang Yushi's power to suppress other powerful figures in the Western Regions.
Xu knew that Wang Yushi had had a very difficult life from childhood to adulthood, so even when things were tough, she never made any demands on Wang Yushi. It wasn't until these past few years, when Wang Yushi became successful thanks to Qin Mo and provided her mother with a large amount of money and military equipment, that Xu managed to unify the hundreds of miles around Suyab City under her control and establish a firm foothold.

Qing Ning looked at Qin Mo in surprise. She had always thought that this news was being kept under tight control within a very small circle, but she never expected that Qin Mo knew about it.
Qin Mo knew, of course, that the information Da Xia received came from the Holy Temple. And what was his relationship with Heatherine? He had known for a long time that the orcs had shifted their strategic focus of attack to Central and Western Asia.
"Has an orc army appeared around Suyab City?"
