Chapter Ninety-Three Rye Pancakes

Finally, they were close enough to be within range of the arrows. The Rakshasa archers began to crouch down and hurl their arrows at the city wall. When Qin Mo first saw the Rakshasa archers, she glared at Allen. It was clear that the Orcish Alliance only had javelin throwers and no archers, so how could those Rakshasa devils have so many archers?

Allen arrogantly replied, "Those people aren't archers at all. An archer who can't even hit a target fifty feet away doesn't deserve to be called an archer." In Allen's opinion, aside from the elves, there were very few who could be called archers!

The Rakshasa archers crouching in the front row were constantly being shot down by the Great Xia archers, even with shield bearers providing cover. Joseph raised his heavy birchwood shield, a broken shield that had saved him at least three times in the past, and he hadn't thrown it away even when it was heavy, not even during retreats.

Those in front were pushed forward by those behind, struggling to get up. They had no choice; once pushed forward, they were surrounded by people on all sides, with only that narrow wooden plank leading to their deaths.

Joseph watched intently. A squad of orc warriors was nearby, keeping watch. If he kept hiding in the back and was discovered, they would execute him without hesitation.

Josephine pushed forward with the crowd, shouting "Hurrah...Hurrah!" but her feet would take two steps forward and one step back, always being pushed back by the brave warriors.

Joseph was eventually squeezed into the siege ladder's ramp. He quickly took a spot in a corner and then pushed the Rakshasa men one by one onto the ramp leading to the city wall.

"Charge! Warriors... kill them..."

"Charge into the city...there's plenty of food...beautiful women..."

With each slogan Joseph shouted, he gave his fellow Russians a hard push on the back. His voice was loud and clear, and his face was fervent and sincere. He stirred up the courage in everyone's hearts.

They charged up the city wall shouting "Hurrah...Hurrah!" and were then hacked to death...and fell to the ground with a "thud".
