Chapter 377 Heatherine's New Dress
After writing that somewhat domineering letter to Queen Shia, Qin Mo waited for her reply, wanting to see if her former personal maid had changed.
If she hadn't changed, I should have considered how to help her strengthen her sea race, such as helping her to conceive an heir, oh no! ... several heirs.
If she changes, becomes cold and ruthless, and puts on airs like a queen in front of me, then I'll treat her with courtesy, keep my distance, and let everyone be happy.
As for yielding to the threat of the sea creatures? No way, that would really cause chaos. Not to mention anything else, if I were really forced to marry into their family, Allen, Heatherine and the others would definitely come knocking on my door.
A few days later, just as Qin Mo was feeling a little disappointed, someone came to her door, but it wasn't Shia.
"Why are you wearing this? Where is your ever-changing white gauze robe?" Qin Mo looked at Heather in her plain black priest's robe and found it all very awkward.
"I am no longer suitable to be a saintess, so naturally I will no longer wear that gauze robe. Let someone else wear it!"
"Leave it to someone else? Leave it to whom?"
"The next saintess, the current saintess candidate, likes to wear those pure white gauze robes!"
Heatherine's voice sounded somewhat disappointed. That day, as the meeting of the Temple Elders was about to end, they made a request.
Saint Heatherine has worn this pure white gown for many years, and her attire has become a symbol of sainthood. Now that her status has changed, Heatherine should change her attire and gradually pass on that holy image to the new candidate for sainthood.
Heatherine agreed to the request. When she taught Elisa while wearing a regular priestess robe, she saw the excitement and satisfaction in Elisa's eyes. The little girl, who had always imitated her by wearing a white robe, had clearly changed her attitude and was now treating her as an equal.
"Heh! How amusing!" Heather laughed immediately. She was willing to give up some of her principles for freedom, but how could a child as insignificant as an ant dare to put on airs with her?
The teaching scene that night was extremely brutal. Heatherine brutally shoved a large amount of light into Elisa's body, making her howl and groan for two whole hours until she finally turned into a puddle of mud.
Since you enjoy being a saint so much, then I'll let you truly experience the taste of light.
Qin Mo circled around Heather, making her blush, because his gaze kept tracing her waist and curves.
"How about I design some clothes for you?" Qin Mo looked at the perfect figure and imagined all sorts of beautiful fashions.
"You're a tailor? Why do I not think you're a prince of the Great Xia at all!" Heather was speechless. Qin Mo could cook, design cannons, and now he was making clothes.
"It's designing clothes, not tailoring. Never mind, I guarantee you'll be satisfied!" Qin Mo excitedly grabbed paper and pen, ready to draw patterns. She had long had a problem with Heather's bulky, heavy robe; it wasn't beautiful at all except for making her look holy.
Qin Mo's body had studied painting when she was young. Although, in Allen's words, she was a disgrace to the Elf race, it was still easy for her to draw a simple clothing pattern.
"Do you like this combination of trench coat, trousers, and ankle boots? This was drawn exactly as you requested, and it doesn't show any thighs at all," Qin Mo asked Heather, pointing to a set of later-era British-style spring and autumn clothing.
"It feels really strange, but it's still better than that OL outfit. That's completely unwearable!" Heather's expression improved slightly; at least she found an outfit that was barely wearable.
"That office lady outfit is for indoors, who told you to wear it outside!" Qin Mo muttered. The saintess's eyes were practically murderous just now. He really didn't understand why she could accept the thin gauze dress worn by the saintly servants, but reacted so strongly to this kind of free woman's attire.
"If you're just wearing it at home... that would be fine!"
Heatherine was also somewhat conflicted. Although he always said, "Qin Mo, you are weak," she had to admit that Qin Mo was already strong enough to be called a "strong person," and was also a prince of a prominent status. Now, he had specially changed to be a tailor for her, which made her very happy. She decided that as long as it wasn't too unconventional, she would endure wearing it for a while.
Seeing Heather's reluctant expression, Qin Mo sighed and redrawn two of the most classic outfits from her previous life.
"Take a look at these two items, do you like them?"
Qin Mo's painting skills were mediocre, but his eye for detail and strength were extraordinary. The clothes he painted had a realistic effect, which immediately caught Heather's eye.
The two tulle dresses are in black and white, the white being pure white and the black being deep black. They do not reveal any skin, yet they accentuate the beauty of a woman's figure.
"White symbolizes purity, but black is not darkness. In many places, black is a symbol of loyalty!" Qin Mo explained to her, pointing to the drawing board.
βI know, in Seville, black symbolizes loyalty!β Heather nodded, then asked, βIs this a traditional Chinese dress from Great Xia?β
"No, this is a design I made based on Western Zhou clothing. I named it... Wedding Dress!" Qin Mo sat down next to the Saintess and looked at the canvas with her.
Heatherine's delicate body visibly trembled, her eyes immediately welled up with tears, and glistening drops uncontrollably fell.
As a saint, she could not possibly marry, but a "wedding dress" filled the void in her heart.
"If you like it, I'll have someone prepare the materials right away, and it can be finished in a few days!" Under Qin Mo's guidance, the elves, who are naturally fond of beauty, developed all kinds of rare and beautiful fabrics. Every time there was a new product, they would ask Qin Mo for her opinion. A batch of dresses and tulle had just been sent over from home, enough for Qin Mo to squander.
