Heatherine arrived at Qin Mo's house in the Vaughn district. Her previously silent figure became natural, and the crisp sound of her heels hitting the ground rang out cheerfully as she headed straight for Qin Mo's workroom.

Here, she was no longer a holy saint or a solemn elder; she was just an ordinary little girl. Sensing that no one was around, she even jumped a few steps and spun around, letting her luxurious black gauze dress flutter and dance.

"Knock knock knock," Heatherine knew that her footsteps would definitely alert Qin Mo, but she still knocked lightly on the door before going in.

Upon entering the studio, the light was immediately several times brighter than in the corridor.

The windows were recently renovated by Qin Mo. The large panes of glass transported from Da Yuan were thankfully not completely shattered on the way. The surviving glass was used to make windows, finally eliminating the gloomy and dark atmosphere that Qin Mo had always complained about regarding this villa.

When Heather saw the brand-new window, she fell in love with it completely. Every day she would come to Qin Mo's place to cook with him, discuss clothing styles, and study the light together.

“You don’t need to make so many clothes and shoes for me. I already have two closets full of clothes and shoes, and most of them are only for wearing at home…” Heatherine saw Qin Mo busy at the window, and a warm sweetness filled her heart.

She kicked off her shoes, darted barefoot behind Qin Mo, and leaned over her to look at the artwork in his hands.

This is an autumn outfit: crisp trousers, a warm sweater, a long trench coat, and cute boots.

"Try it on and see if it fits!" Qin Mo smiled and handed it to Heather.

Heatherine excitedly ran to the large mirror and began changing. She didn't try to hide it from Qin Mo; their relationship had reached a point where they made no attempt to conceal it.

Soon she saw a stunningly beautiful woman in the mirror, but she felt like something was missing.

Heather touched her lips with her finger, thought for a moment, and then flashed off with a pair of sunglasses, exuding a cool vibe.

Heather smiled smugly, quite pleased with her appearance.

She had lived a repressed life for the past twenty-odd years. After meeting Qin Mo, she finally let herself go. Of course... she only let herself go in front of Qin Mo. In front of others, she was still that cold, aloof, crazy woman.

The large glass mirror was Heather's most cherished gift. It clearly reflected her joy and happiness, and also clearly reflected... the strange bitterness on Qin Mo's face.

"What's wrong, Qin Mo...?"

Heatherine's heart skipped a beat. She took off her sunglasses, her hands and feet trembling unsure of what to do. She didn't know what she had done wrong, but she knew something bad was about to happen.

Qin Mo lowered her head, and after a long while, she said, "These past few days... I've been studying the mysteries of light... and I feel I can't advance any further..."

Heather's heart softened, and she said gently, "Your talent is something I've never seen before, far surpassing that Saintess candidate. You've already reached the peak below the Saint level; there's no use rushing things now. You must hone your skills and wait for the opportunity to break through..."

"Um!"

Qin Mo hummed in agreement and turned back to continue fiddling with the artwork in her hands.

Those were thick boots, clearly meant for winter, but at this moment... it was almost summer.

Heather felt empty inside. She hugged Qin Mo's slender waist from behind, pressed her face against his strong shoulders and back, rubbing against him as if it were their first intimate encounter.

Are you going back?

She murmured a question in a low voice, her short sentence containing no sorrow or bitterness, only a deep reluctance to part.

Heather knew Qin Mo's purpose in coming to the temple. Now that he had broken through his cultivation level, going home... was only natural. What was there to resent?

Qin Mo froze, remaining silent for a long time.

He had a letter he had just received in his arms.

Will you come to see us again?

She rubbed her cheek against his shoulder, wiping the tears from the corners of her eyes onto his body.

Qin Mo turned around abruptly: "Of course, you know... I have a fleet of ships. Give me some time, and in a few years, my fast ships can travel from Da Yuan to Rome in three months. Then I'll come to see you... me."

"Um!"

A simple "hmm" cut off Qin Mo's words; she had completely believed Qin Mo's words and had no doubt whatsoever.

Qin Mo's expression froze, and after a long while, it turned into a silly smile as she lowered her head to deal with the thick boots.

Just as they were about to finish, Qin Mo suddenly turned to look at Heather behind her and asked urgently, "You just asked me if I would come to see... 'you' again?"

Heatherine smiled warmly as she looked down at her lower abdomen.

Qin Mo stood there dumbfounded for a long time before leaning down and pressing his ear against her lower abdomen. Heather also removed all her protective gear, allowing him to fully experience the sensations.

Qin Mo's eyes welled up with tears. He felt a faint, blood-related connection growing happily within Heatherine's body.

"You...are pregnant?"

Heatherine nodded emphatically, her face radiating a pure maternal glow with happiness.

"Aww..."

Qin Mo suddenly jumped up and ran around the studio, shouting as she ran, "You're pregnant... Holy crap... You're pregnant! I'm so amazing!"

"Wow! I'm going to have another baby! That's wonderful!"
