Isabel's inaugural address was devoid of any inspiration or passion, consisting only of cold admonitions. It greatly frustrated the hardliners among the vampires, while bringing comfort to the moderates.
When a new king of the vampire clan takes office, the most common thing he does is to stir up trouble, eliminate dissidents and cultivate his own confidants in the midst of fighting and killing. A calm king like Isabel is extremely rare.
