Chapter 273 Elisa

Chapter 273 Elisa

The Athens Theological Seminary is located in the southeast of Athens, next to the Irisos River. It is surrounded by verdant valleys and clear streams, creating an elegant and tranquil environment. Not far away, there is a dense forest with lush greenery. The paths in the forest are lined with flowers and trees, each vying for attention with its own unique beauty.

The gate to the Athens Theological Seminary is a huge archway, with long corridors in front and behind it, and many statues standing on both sides, including knights on horseback wielding swords and priests in robes holding staffs.

Each statue has its own history. Giulio introduced the real-life figures that inspired these statues to Qin Mo, recounting their life stories with a face full of admiration and longing.

Qin Mo wasn't concerned with their deeds, but rather their strength. According to Giulio, these people were all Saint-level experts. There were dozens of statues in these two rows, demonstrating the power of the Temple. Fortunately, they were all dead. If they were alive, perhaps the relationship between East and West wouldn't be so harmonious.

"Julio, how many Saint-level experts does the Temple have now?"

"Oh! Lord Qin Mo, many things in the Holy Temple are kept secret. I know of seven Saint-level experts, but I cannot rule out the possibility of other hidden experts."

"Seven people?... "

Qin Mo gained a better understanding of the Temple's strength. The Great Xia only had four Heavenly Realm experts, nearly half the number of the Temple.

It seems that war is the catalyst for strength. The Western Continent has been facing the main attack of the orcs for many years, and the intensity of the war is much stronger than that of the Great Xia. More people have died, which has forced humanity to become stronger.

As Qin Mo and Giulio admired the statues, they walked into the seminary. Groups of students came and went, passing by them and casting glances at them, especially at Qin Mo.

"Please stop here! Outsiders are not allowed to enter. If you wish to tour the temple, please go to either side. There are students there who will explain the history of the temple to you."

At the end of the wide corridor stood two sword-wielding warriors who did not stop the students in robes coming and going, but blocked the two handsome young men.

"Damn, this security guard is awesome! He has excellent eyesight; not only did he tell at a glance that we weren't students, but his skills are also quite impressive."

Qin Mo looked at the two seemingly polite but actually cold-eyed warriors and couldn't help but praise them.

Qin Mo sensed that same "righteousness" emanating from Lek Wieger again, and it was present in these two gatekeeper warriors as well. Although it was not as strong as that of Lek Wieger, the characteristics were exactly the same.

This aura is not as smooth and concealed as the vital energy of the Great Xia cultivators; instead, it is very flamboyant and sunny, just like the straightforward personality of the Western Continent people.

"We are looking for Elisa Stellia."

Giulio abandoned his humble demeanor towards Qin Mo, speaking with an arrogant air, exuding an aristocratic air.

The two security guards immediately softened their tone. The guard on the left asked, "May I ask who you are to Professor Elisa Stanley?"

“I am his relative. We agreed to go to Rome together. My name is Giulio Medici. You can inform him to confirm.”

"The Medici of Florence?"

Giulio slightly raised his chin and said calmly, "Yes!"

"Please follow me, both of you."

A gatekeeper gestured for them to proceed, then led the way for the two, even explaining some of the seminary's interesting sights along the way. This gave Qin Mo a glimpse into the Medici family's influence within the temple.

Although the Athens Theological Seminary is a theological seminary, its interior is not the rigid and solemn place Qin Mo had imagined. Its garden-style architecture makes it appear very vibrant.

A square white building appeared ahead, and the knight guarding the gate said to the two, "At this time, Teacher Elisa Stellia should be teaching in the academy. You two can wait here for a while."

"Thank you for showing me the way. Here is a small reward; please accept it."

Giulio took out two gold coins and handed them to the gatekeeper, who accepted them with a nod and left, neither humble nor arrogant, to Qin Mo's astonishment.

"Julio, you actually gave a Templar Knight a tip. Isn't that an insult to him?"

Giulio looked at Qin Mo strangely, "What is a tip? Are you talking about those two gold coins? Templar Knights are human too, they need money. He guided us, and I gave him a reward. What kind of humiliation is that?"

Qin Mo was a little stunned. So this is how Westerners understand tips: if someone does something for you, you should pay them, whether you want to or not.

A series of chaotic footsteps and conversations came from the White Academy Hall, and then Qin Mo saw a large group of young men and women walking out with thick books in their hands.

The two stepped aside from the doorway and waited for Giulio's cousin. Their humble attitude and tall, handsome appearance made all the female students slow down and stare at them.

Finally, a bold girl stepped forward and politely asked, "Is there anything I can help you with?"

Qin Mo couldn't understand Italian, so she turned to look at Giulio.

"We're waiting for Professor Elisa Stellia. Is she giving a lesson inside?"

The girl's eyes clearly showed some disappointment, but she still politely said, "Professor Stanley is right behind us, please wait a moment."

Giulio nodded his thanks to the girl, and Qin Mo gave her a warm smile, prompting the girl to quickly bow in return, concealing the little star in her eyes.

Qin Mo's keen senses suddenly reacted. He looked in the direction he sensed and saw a woman in white robes walking towards them.
