Chapter 345 Fear

Chapter 345 Fear

"boom...."

"Bang..."

The deafening roar of the bone tower collapsing was far less loud than the cracking of the silver container. A sound wave emanated from the collapsed bone tower, spreading outwards with a "hum," shattering everything in its path, from wooden houses to tents.

Countless orcs and Rakshasa were reduced to dust without uttering a sound. The few generals and warlords who were powerful enough to resist for only a moment were also defeated and died.

Qin Mo held "Fire of Joy" in front of him, manipulating the blazing flames into a giant shield that firmly blocked the invisible, deadly sonic wave.

The snowfield was as if it had been swept by a storm; all the buildings were razed to the ground, and countless lives were annihilated.

Qin Mo felt as if a long time had passed before his body finally returned to him. He shook his still dizzy head and blindly looked around for survivors.

Looking at the world filled with dust, Qin Mo was terrified. He recklessly unleashed his vital energy and starlight, spreading them around him and searching for Heatherine and Prometheus.

Two auras appeared in Qin Mo's senses. After a quick discernment, Qin Mo located the two people. He swiftly flashed to their side, peeled away the thick dust covering them, and began shouting and pinching at the two unconscious individuals.

"Qin...Mo..." Heatherine opened her eyes, staring blankly for a while before coming to her senses. Her call brought tears of joy to Qin Mo's eyes; as long as she hadn't gone mad, that was all that mattered.

Heatherine wrapped her arms around Qin Mo's waist. In the instant she was about to lose consciousness, her mind was filled with Qin Mo's image for some reason.

"My mission is not yet complete..." These were Heatherine's last thoughts.

"Cough cough cough!"

A cough, whether intentional or not, annoyed Qin Mo immensely. She turned around and yelled at the handsome older man, "What the hell are you coughing for! I knew you were alive..."

"I...I am Shia's..." Promi choked on a mouthful of powder, unable to breathe, and could only glare angrily at Qin Mo.

"You should get Shia to acknowledge you as her father first!" Qin Mo said irritably. He was the man who helped Shia awaken, yet his status in Shia's heart was not as high as that of a stranger, a cheap old man.

"We need to leave here immediately. With such a commotion, someone will be here to check on us soon... How are your injuries?"

"I suffered internal injuries and have at most half my strength left, but there are very few powerful experts at the Great King level nearby, so I should be safe," Promi said casually after carefully examining his body.

"And you?" Qin Mo asked Heather with concern.

Heatherine didn't speak, but simply reached out and took Qin Mo's hand. Her hand was still warm and strong, as if to say, "Don't worry, I'm fine... I've got you covered!"

"Heh heh heh! It's all over... It's all over, humans... You've destroyed our hope... Heh heh heh!"

The three of them suddenly turned their heads and saw a tall figure standing up from the dust not far away. His body was covered with cuts and gashes, and the exposed flesh made him look extremely ferocious and crazy.

Blackham's once piercing eyes were now filled with blankness and emptiness, and his bleeding lips trembled as he muttered to himself.

"For six hundred years, our orc race has had no leader. Even though we are suppressed in this icy wasteland, we are still wary of each other. You kill my people... I devour your territory. Even with the bravest warriors... we see no hope..."

“I finally found the Great Shaman’s whereabouts after much effort, and began building the Bone Tower so that the Great Shaman’s power could guide us forward… Do you know… what I felt when I sacrificed my own people’s blood?” Blackhan’s empty eyes showed extreme pain.

"But we orcs need a leader, a king, a king who can lead us to a land bathed in warm sunlight... Only then can we survive in peace..."

Blackhan spoke faster and faster, his face growing increasingly crazed. He glared at the three men, his dangerous aura intensifying. "But you've ruined all of this... You've destroyed the hope of the entire orc race... Hahahaha!"

"He's burning his life force... Watch out!"

Prome roared and attacked Blackham first. A great witch burning with life force had to be stopped as soon as possible. If he went berserk with a death wish, even the three of them combined would not be able to win.

Ignoring the weakening of the Little Nirvana Flame within her body, Qin Mo forcibly activated the third magic array of the Double-Edged Battle Axe, transforming it into a ball of intensely bright flame several feet in diameter, which crashed into Blackham.

The ruins of the bone tower were filled with dust caused by sound waves. As the group fought desperately, the dust rose up and turned into a thick smog, blocking everyone's vision. You couldn't see me, and I couldn't see you. Relying on their keen senses, they attacked each other frantically.

Qin Mo sensed something was wrong with Heather and Promi; their auras were noticeably weaker than usual. The sound waves from the broken silver container had caused them significant damage, while Blackham's aura was growing stronger and more frenzied.

"If I let Blackham continue his madness like this, I might still be able to escape, but the two of them will definitely die..." Qin Mo was extremely anxious. He steeled his heart and suddenly activated the Star Vortex within his body.
