Chapter Forty-Two: Talent and Demon
Qin Mo felt that Nie Yan had still rushed into his dantian. He was not alarmed, but he was extremely disheartened. He had been delusional to think that Nie Yan, who had harmed him for many years, would reform and serve the government. He was simply out of his mind. With Nie Yan's personality, he was not a good citizen at all. He was a devil incarnate!

Fortunately, the dantian did not change in the direction Qin Mo feared. Instead, it gradually took on a bright yellow hue. Originally, the *Gui Xin Jing* controlled the primordial fluid to form a vortex, absorbing and drawing in gentle primordial energy into the dantian, and then expelling the harmful and volatile primordial energy. Qin Mo's realm and physical body began to rapidly strengthen and improve. Meanwhile, the invisible earth energy formed a huge vortex around Qin Mo's tent, drawing in even more vital energy from the surrounding area.
Kaihime repeated the monotonous actions in her tent. Ever since she sensed the Yuan Qi, she had been diligently working on the final step of becoming a cultivator—guiding Qi into the body. However, without the help of the "Yuan Qi Elixir" and without a readily available method to activate Yuan Qi within her body, no matter how anxious she was, the Yuan Qi in the void simply wouldn't enter her body.
Tonight, Kaihime felt an unusually rich energy around him. He knew this must be related to Qin Mo in the large tent next to him. He was already much luckier than other women, so he should enjoy the somewhat monotonous life of cultivation.
Suddenly, a mischievous wisp of earth energy touched Kaihime's skin, seemingly drawn by her fragrance. It lingered for a moment, but then fell into the suction force created by Kaihime's simple and brutal introductory incantation of the "Breaking Technique." However, the suction was incredibly weak; the mischievous energy felt it could easily break free with a little effort. ...After struggling for a long time... it was finally dragged into Kaihime's body.
Kaihime's face was covered in sweat from tension. She tried her best to calm her heartbeat and breathing, and slowly circulated the "Breaking Technique," guiding that wisp of primordial energy to three inches below her navel. That was the place where she was preparing to open up her "dantian."
One strand leads to another; tonight, the mischievous earth energy is particularly abundant. Kaihime kept guiding the energy into her body, constantly reminding herself to be calm and focused, but her increasingly heavy breathing made her nervous to the point of madness.
Finally, she began to feel a sharp pain three inches below her navel. This was her vital energy expanding its territory, intending to make this place its new home. Kaihime silently circulated her inner energy, enduring the pain to repair and reshape the area three inches below her navel.
She only hoped that Qin Mo's cultivation tonight could last longer, so that she could take advantage of the momentum to obtain more earth elemental energy and complete the development of her "dantian" in one go. If she gave up halfway, she didn't know if she would be able to obtain so much energy for her own use.
Thankfully, His Highness the Crown Prince had been cultivating all night. After enduring immense pain, Kaihime finally felt her abdomen stop hurting and instead feel warm. It was as if a whole new world had opened up within her body, and her blood, flowing three inches below her navel, became more vibrant. After a busy night, she felt increasingly energetic and powerful.
