There is only this comic book among the books in the room, and this comic book only has a few thin pages.

My friend Chen died on a sunny day.

Died in this room, a small and suffocating room, full of oppression, like a fishing net tightly around the neck.

Wang Shitou said with some difficulty breathing, "Why do I feel like this room is getting smaller and smaller?"

He wasn't the only one who felt this way. Ma Liangchen, who was standing at the door, scratched his head and said, "I thought you knew you were pretending."

"This door keeps pushing me in. I told Lin Nuan about it, and she called me crazy."

Lin Nuan touched the Math textbook on one hand and the Chinese textbook on the other. She lowered her head and kicked the English textbook on the ground without saying anything. She thought to herself, "Oh my God, I thought he was lying to me!"

Seeing the books against the wall gathering inside little by little, the person standing at the door hurriedly opened the door.

But it was as if someone was holding the door from outside and it wouldn't open no matter what.

Seeing that two people were getting close to each other, Wang Shitou looked for a long time but couldn't figure out what was going on. Zhang Heqian, who was standing next to Qi Jing, paused and put the comic book in his hand back to its original place. Then there was a bang, and the person who was pulling the door with all his strength suddenly had no resistance, and the door hit Ma Liangchen's forehead without any warning.

He was so frightened that he raised his hands high and bowed to Ma Liangchen, stuttering: "I, I, I... I didn't mean it."

Ma Liangchen endured the pain and waved his hand to indicate that he was fine, then walked out. The next second, when he saw the person standing by the door, he stepped back and cursed, "Damn, I really encountered an evil spirit."

Lin Nuan stretched half of her body to look outside, and her eyes met Zhang Keyi's.

She opened her mouth wide and stepped back under Zhang Keyi's gaze: "Oh my god, it's Keyi."

Everyone in the room was shocked, except Qi Jinghe and Wang Shitou, so they all stuck their heads out and saw Zhang Keyi with a smile on his face.

Perhaps realizing Zhang Keyi wasn't hostile, they all slowly walked out. As the last person left the room, the corridor slowly widened, and the doors of each room changed. For example, Chen's friend's door no longer had a lock.

And Zhang Keyi was also standing in front of a door.

She stood under the light and spoke coldly, the smile on her face disappearing: "Come in."

There was only light where she was standing in the entire corridor. Although they were scared, they still went there.

The room was not big, but when everyone entered, the room slowly enlarged one to one. Ma Liangchen took a look and saw that it was a dormitory for four people, and the things placed there were all things that girls liked.

The fake Zhang Keyi sat on the only stool. Her expression was full of melancholy, completely devoid of the teasing she had at the beginning.

She was holding a necklace in her hand, a necklace that looked cheap. She said, "My name is Hu Tingfeng. I'm a member of the game just like you, but I came earlier than you."

"I've lived here for four years, welcoming wave after wave of newcomers, but few have made it here alive like you. While most of you were turned into human skin puppets at the start, thankfully, you weren't wiped out. You've all seen Xilefu, right? If all goes well, you'll survive to the next round. If not, you'll all be left here to be food for others, and the new Duke will be chosen from among you."

The castle is located in the forest. Apart from the castle, there are only mountains and wolves. No one can walk out of here because what greets you outside the castle gate is not endless trees, but hungry wolves.

We called this place the 'Man-Eating Forest' in those days, because there was a vicious wolf hiding behind almost every few trees here. They would stare at you from the moment you left the castle, and when the time was right, their fangs would sink into your flesh and tear your corpse apart.

Hu Tingfeng stroked the necklace in his hand, his eyes bloodshot like the vicious wolves they met on the roadside when they first came in.

Ma Liangchen said innocently, "It would be better if we didn't go out."

Perhaps it had been a long time since she had heard such innocent words, Hu Tingfeng laughed. She looked at Ma Liangchen and asked him, "How did you survive until now if you were so stupid?"

"Not mentioning the limitations of your game, do you really think you can survive here forever?"

"Guess why there are so many wolves outside but not a single one dares to rush in and feast on the feast. Do you think it's because it's afraid of your large numbers or something else?"

Hu Tingfeng pulled open the curtains of the room. Pairs of eyes appeared from behind the trees outside, staring at them silently, but none dared to move forward. Here, the more ferocious something looked, the less dangerous it actually was. On the contrary, the most dangerous were those that looked harmless.

Zhang Heqian didn't want to hear what she said. He asked her bluntly, "Have you seen my brother? Is he still alive?"

Hu Tingfeng looked up at him, thought carefully, and said, "Dead."

Although he had the answer in his heart, it was still hard to accept it when he heard it with his own ears. Tears flowed uncontrollably and sadness occupied his mind. At this moment, his home finally collapsed and was buried by time.

Lin Nuan handed him a tissue, but she couldn't offer any advice. She could only helplessly watch him cry and listen to him say over and over again, "I don't have a home anymore, brother."

Seeing him crying so sadly, Hu Tingfeng said, "He is gone, but his heart is still there. Do you want to listen to it?"

"Your brother was the last of us to leave. His heart is still in this castle. Do you want to hear it?"

The beating of the heart is another way to express the language that cannot be expressed in words. If there are some words that you cannot say, just hug the other person and listen to what his heartbeat says.

Zhang Heqian asked her crying, "Where is his heart?"

"Fourth floor."

On the fourth floor, where only Mr. Duke lives, a place where there is no one except Mr. Duke, a place without even servants, how could there be a second heart, unless Mr. Duke has someone else's heart in his body.

Lin Nuan looked at Hu Tingfeng and asked uncertainly, "You mean his brother's heart is in Mr. Duke's body? Does that mean Mr. Duke is his brother?"

"No, a heart is a heart. That doesn't mean the Duke is Yu Yan." Hu Tingfeng looked at Lin Nuan and said seriously, "It's like, if someone else's heart lived in his body, then do you know who he really is?"

"No matter whose heart it is, he will always be himself. No one can say he is not himself just because of a heart."

"You mean he used other people's hearts?" Qi Jing said, "Your heart is gone too, right?"

Why did he ask this? Because after several encounters, he found that when Hu Tingfeng used Zhang Keyi and Zhang Heqian's bodies, there was no heartbeat. Normally, there should be a heartbeat, but she didn't. Instead, her body was cold, like a dead person.

"A dead person's heart doesn't beat, and me, do you think I'm a living person?"

Pushing open the window, the wind blowing in from outside was a bit chilling and gloomy. Hu Tingfeng leaned against the window and looked at them, just like Zhang Heqian saw her on the first night.

She had only one purpose in coming to them: to kill Shilefu! However, her purpose was contrary to their mission. If Shilefu died, their mission would fail, and they would also die. Knowing that this was impossible, unless she offered conditions that could guarantee their survival, all her actions would be clownish.

Zhang Heqian cried very sadly, tears kept falling. Even though his blurred vision could not see the person in front of him, he still kept his mind clear and asked her: "After saying so much, what is your purpose in looking for us? I don't believe you are a person who does not seek anything in return."

Wang Shitou, lost in thought, suddenly realized that they had been chatting for so long but still hadn't gotten to the point. They hadn't stayed up late at night just to chat with her.

"I want him to die, just like we did back then."

"That won't work."

When Lin Nuan heard that Mr. Duke was going to die, she was the first to disagree.

She said, "If he dies, we die too. This won't do." Everyone's eyes shifted from him to Hu Tingfeng, their gazes asking her, "We won't do this if it's a losing proposition."

The smile on Hu Tingfeng's lips drooped, not because they disagreed, but because she suddenly realized that the group of people in front of her seemed to be idiots.

She no longer felt any hope from them, and she began to doubt how this group of people had survived the first level. Was it by luck? Apart from this explanation, she really couldn't think of any other.

She seemed to have noticed since some point that the man was becoming increasingly lax about his duties here, as if he was about to leave. If not, then why was this batch of personnel so poor? It really was just one generation worse than the last.

They stared at each other, and seeing the way she looked at the idiot, they thought for a moment that they felt like they were being led by the nose.

Shu Yan stood straight, his voice still the same as before, and said calmly: "Why not just find Mr. Duke's lover and then kill him?"

Hu Tingfeng: "There are still some people who are not stupid."

Others: “?”

"But," Shu Yan looked at Hu Tingfeng and asked her, "What useful things can you provide us to ensure that we can find the lady before the Duke dies of illness?"

"If you can't provide me with any substantial assistance, then we'll have to think carefully about what to do with you."

Shu Yan's way of thinking was very fresh. He did not treat Hu Tingfeng as an ally for equal exchange, but labeled her as someone who needed help.

In this way, both the right to choose and the right to decide are in their hands, and nothing will change because of her.

Hu Tingfeng did not answer his question immediately, but turned to face the window. At the same time, the wolves began to howl, as if they were talking to her.

After howling for a while, Hu Tingfeng closed the window and nodded, indicating that they should sit down and talk.

Instantly, several chairs, similar to those in a banquet hall, appeared in the room. There were exactly thirteen chairs, perfectly placed next to each person.

Ma Liangchen always felt that this woman was strange, but he couldn't put his finger on it, especially when she turned around and whispered to the wolves, making him feel like a dish in their mouths.

A dish of meat that has already been put into the pot and started to cook!
