Chapter 77: Avoiding the Plot (1/2)

Footsteps were heard at the end of the corridor, and the dean ran over with a pale face, holding a blood bag.

Several armed police officers also came with them.

Jiang Shuwei looked at the leading police officer, the police captain whom she had met once before.

Li Wei couldn't help feeling bitter when he looked at Jiang Shuwei and the old lady.

They have an unshirkable responsibility for Chief Fu's injury, because there is a spy in the public security team.

Although all the cultural relics have been recovered, those time bombs have injured many people.

Jiang Shuwei frowned and looked at the sweaty dean, looking at him sharply:

"I'm going into the operating room."

With such a big incident happening, who would dare to oppose it?

Jiang Shuwei and Su Yi put on sterile suits and followed the dean in.

Seeing Fu Jiusi in a dishevel and with a pale face, Jiang Shuwei couldn't help but sway with her legs going weak.

Su Yi hurriedly reached out to support her.

Jiang Shuwei held Su Yi's hand tightly, and asked with a tight throat:

"How is he?"

Doctor Qidao looked up at Jiang Shuwei and continued to work with his head down.

The dean walked forward to take a look, then frowned at Dr. Qidao.

"Tell me the truth, how is Chief Fu?"

"The shrapnel in the vital parts of his body has been removed, but when Qi Wei was brought here, he had already lost too much blood and was in shock. Although he received a blood transfusion promptly, it's currently uncertain how he will fare after the surgery."

Jiang Shuwei shook Su Yi's hand, and the latter understood what she meant and took a step forward to stand above Fu Jiusi, blocking everyone's view.

Originally, Jiang Shuwei wanted to wait for Fu Jiusi to leave the operating room before saving him, but after hearing what the doctor said, she didn't dare to wait any longer.

He secretly stuffed the good stuff into his mouth, and these spiritual fruits melted in his mouth and took effect without him having to swallow them.

Xin adjusted the oxygen mask, and Jiang Shuwei gently touched his cold cheek with red eyes.

She snorted and whispered a threat in his ear:

"Fu Jiusi, if you leave me, I will remarry."

Almost immediately, the man closed his eyes and moved his body, then became quiet again.

"Su Yi, come here. Let's sit next to you and wait."

Seeing her like this, the dean couldn't help but wipe the sweat off his face. He simply pushed the assistant aside and personally participated in the operation.

Jiang Shuwei watched quietly as the doctor replaced bag after bag of plasma for Fu Jiusi, and her heart grew heavier.

Several hours had passed since the operation ended. During this time, Jiang Shuwei just stood by quietly without eating or drinking.

Doctor Dao looked tired, but he had a relieved smile on his face.

"Fortunately, we have fulfilled our mission. All the shrapnel in Commander Fu's body has been removed. His condition is fine and he can be transferred to the ward for close observation."

After hearing this, Jiang Shuwei finally felt relieved.

"Su Yi, I'm so hungry."

"What would you like to eat?"

"I want to eat big meat buns and big chicken legs."

"Okay, I'll go buy it."

The dean was so exhausted that he would have sat down on the ground if his assistant hadn't supported him.

"Captain Fu, please pay more attention to my care. Someone almost sneaked in and committed a crime before I came in."

Doctor Qidao was stunned in surprise, looking at Jiang Shuwei's back as she left. So that's why she did this. It seemed really dangerous.

The two assistants in the operating room were carefully treating other minor wounds, and they became even more cautious after hearing this.

I didn't expect that this patient was the head of the military region.

After Fu Jiusi was transferred to another ward, Jiang Shuwei moved in with him, and no one dared to refuse.

Two days later, Jiang Shuwei stared blankly at Fu Jiusi who was still sleeping.

She has been blaming herself for the past two days. If she had gone into the operating room early in the morning to give him medicine, would he not have been in a coma for so long?

But where is the medicine for regret in this world?

She could only watch over him all the time and feed him some good food from time to time.
