Chapter 8
After finishing his own class, Yoda quickly moved on to attend the most basic theory class for first-year students.
Yoda discovered that each time he heard knowledge he had learned before, his past memories became clearer. If the original memories were like looking through frosted glass because they had been dormant for too long, then by listening to the lectures, at least the frosted glass became clear.
With the idea that learning is earning, Yoda wished he could listen to the previous lessons again 24 hours a day.
The boy in front yawned, and Yoda couldn't help but follow suit. It was contagious; everyone around them was yawning, and they all huddled together, glancing at each other and secretly laughing.
When Yoda returned to school, there was no one she recognized. Whether it was the seniors she was graduating with or the classmates she bumped into while attending classes, they were all strangers to her. Occasionally, a familiar face would flash by, but that was only because she had seen it a few times and it looked somewhat familiar.
However, even if you don't know anyone, you can still feel happy because of some small things in class.
Yoda checked his schedule and realized there were no classes he wanted to attend in the morning, so he headed to the library.
Zhou Ying, the girl who reminded Yoda that her English vocabulary book was old, was there because she was preparing for exams at the library every day. Knowing that Yoda wanted to study in the library when he wasn't in class, she volunteered to save him a spot when needed.

Yoda and Zhou Ying sipped their drinks. A few people were scattered around the library rooftop rest area. Some were reciting, some were on the phone, and others were stretching after studying.
Looking at the young faces around him, Yoda couldn't help but feel envious. "It's so good to be young."
Zhou Ying laughed: "You're not old at all, why the sudden sigh?"
Yoda rubbed his shoulders. Although he still remembered himself as someone who hadn't graduated from university, his body had indeed experienced so much time.
Even if he could re-enroll, returning to normal would be a very, very long process. At least, Yoda doesn't seem as energetic as before.
Zhou Ying looked at the dark circles under Yoda's eyes and his constant yawning. "Haven't you been getting enough rest lately? You can't overwork yourself, your body can't take it."
Yoda sighed, "How can I be considered tired?" At least he goes home to sleep every day, and his mother looks after him, so he can rest on time every day. Zhou Ying, a graduate school student, is the one who is really working hard. She lives on campus but comes and goes very late, and her dark circles are even bigger than Yoda's.
Zhou Ying didn't care, saying, "You and I are different."
"By the way, I know a senior who's really good at time management; maybe she can help you."
Zhou Ying enthusiastically pulled Yoda along, insisting on meeting her senior sister so that she could help Yoda figure out how to improve his efficiency so that Yoda could get more rest.

Zhou Ying said confidently, "Don't think like that. This senior student worked for many years before coming back to pursue a master's degree. Thanks to her excellent time management, she has a great relationship with her supervisor. Originally, I wanted to apply for graduate school under her supervisor, but they are no longer accepting applications. However, she is a very nice person and will always help me with anything."
Yoda looked at Lin Xiu, somewhat embarrassed. Zhou Ying had brought him over, and after introducing them to the two, she had to leave in a hurry. Only the two who were barely acquainted remained, enduring the awkward silence.

A group of us went out to look for him, going back and forth along the routes he would normally take, but we couldn't find any trace of him. We were so worried we were about to call the police."
Yoda couldn't help but worry: "Was it found later?"
"Of course, otherwise who would I be studying with now? It's right there in the bushes by the roadside, below is a slope, and above is dense grass. After a person rolls down, the grass immediately springs back up, and you can't see anything from above."
Yoda asked curiously, "How was that discovered?"
Lin Xiu smiled and said, "I noticed that the newly planted landscape trees along this road are all symmetrical. There was a missing tree where my mentor fell down. When I went over to take a look, I found him lying peacefully in the grass. When he saw me, he even had the energy to greet me."
After that, no matter what excuses his mentor made, everyone kept an eye on him. He had to take his phone with him when he went out, and Lin Xiu even secretly made his step count public so that everyone could see it.

He couldn't tell his family and friends because everyone felt that waking up was the luckiest thing, and all the problems would disappear. He couldn't tell Shixing either, as it would only increase his guilt.

"Although I don't know much about your major, I'm sure it's an industry that requires a lot of practical experience. Some courses that can be learned during the internship can be put on hold for a while. You can make up for any gaps in your professional knowledge during the internship, which is equivalent to extending your study time to after graduation. After all, normally, most people go straight to graduate school after graduating from undergraduate studies."
Lin Xiu always wore a gentle smile. "It's probably because every minute of my life before was filled with goals and plans that I needed more time than others to realize that I was on a path that wasn't right for me."
Moreover, Lin Xiu leaned closer to Yoda and whispered, "Actually, I have a secret. I need to sleep 12 hours a day."
Lin Xiu checked the time and admitted that she needed to go back to rest because she had to sleep for such a long time. Yoda thought about Lin Xiu's last words, "Don't be upset about the time you've already lost; what's important is how you treat the time you have left."
"It's time to rest." Yoda's mother passed by Yoda's room several times and saw that she was reading in the same position without changing her posture, so she couldn't help but go in and remind her.
Yoda then realized how late it was. "I didn't even realize it was so late."
Lin Xiu's words inspired Yoda, giving him a clear direction, and every minute became something to do. He unconsciously forgot that he needed to rest earlier to recover.
Yoda closed the book, feeling a pang of guilt at the sight of her mother's distressed gaze. She quickly promised to set an alarm and rest on time from now on.
"Why are you still so tired even though you're about to graduate? It's even harder than when you were studying."
Yoda explained earnestly that because he had missed seven years, many courses had changed, and with graduation approaching, he wanted to make up for the knowledge he had missed.
"Why don't you get married right after graduation? Then you won't have to work so hard." Yoda's mother said it casually, as if it were a matter of course.

Yoda was so startled that she dropped her pen and instinctively bent down to pick it up. She stammered, "How did it suddenly get to marriage? I haven't even graduated yet!"
