Little Lanyu carefully carried the wine jar into the house, her face beaming with undisguised joy.
Seeing this, Li Baobei couldn't help but laugh and tease, "Little Lanyu, you secretly drank the fine wine that your master buried. When your master comes back and finds out, won't he be furious?"
However, Xiao Lanyu was not frightened by Li Baobei's words at all. Instead, she looked at him with a reassuring expression and patted her chest confidently, saying, "Don't worry, Master doesn't eat much on weekdays, let alone drink alcohol."
"Besides, knowing my master as I do, he wouldn't get angry with me over such a small thing! After all, he's the one who loves me the most!" Her words were full of confidence and pride.
Inside the room, Xiao Lanyu gently placed the wine jar on the table, her eyes revealing immense excitement, and slowly opened the lid of the jar.
In an instant, the entire room was filled with a faint aroma of wine, making it irresistibly intoxicating.
The three of them each held a glass of fine wine, took a small sip, and found it to be mellow and fragrant, leaving a lingering aftertaste.
Little Blue Jade finished her drink in a flash, smacked her lips, and seemed to want another glass, as if she wasn't quite satisfied.
Seeing this, Li Baobei quickly reached out to stop him, saying seriously, "Little one, you can't drink too much! Children shouldn't drink too much alcohol!"
"No, please, I just want to try a tiny bit more, okay?" Little Blue Jade used all her charm to plead in a sweet, coquettish voice that seemed to melt hearts.
Her big eyes sparkled with longing as she looked at Li Baobei with anticipation and pleading, making it hard to refuse.
A hint of helplessness appeared on Li Baobei's face, but it was mixed with a faint smile. She said softly, "This is the last cup, you absolutely can't drink any more~" Xiao Lanyu nodded hurriedly, her whole face beaming with joy.
The three chatted and laughed, enjoying delicious snacks with their drinks and the warm and pleasant atmosphere between them.
Time slips away quietly, as if without our noticing, it has already slipped through our fingers.
Looking at Xiao Lanyu, who was lying on the table muttering to herself and completely absorbed in her own world, Li Baobei couldn't help but smile indulgently.
Then, she slowly stood up, carefully picked up Xiao Lanyu, and went into the room to settle her in.
In the blink of an eye, only Li Baobei and Dongfang Yerong remained in the room.
Li Baobei gazed at the unfinished wine on the table, a slight intoxication rising in her heart. She murmured to herself, "Such fine wine should be enjoyed under the moonlight to truly capture its essence."
Before she finished speaking, she reached out, gently picked up the wine pot and wine cup, and resolutely walked towards the door.
Upon seeing this, Dongfang Yerong quickly stood up and followed her out of the room.
Li Baobei staggered and struggled toward the pavilion outside the house.
Upon finally arriving at her destination, she sat exhausted on a stone bench in the pavilion, then poured herself a full cup of wine and drank it all in one gulp.
Looking up at the round, bright moon in the sky, Li Baobei couldn't help but feel a sense of melancholy.
This feeling came out of nowhere. Logically speaking, she should feel extremely happy at this moment!
She gazed at the night sky and softly recited, "What can dispel sorrow? Only wine..." Before she finished speaking, she picked up her wine cup and drank it all in one gulp.
After finishing her drink, Li Baobei seemed to want more and wanted to refill her glass. At this moment, Dongfang Yerong stretched out her arm and stopped her.
"Nannan, you're already drunk," Dongfang Yerong said softly.
Li Baobei squinted slightly, looking at him with a hazy gaze, while muttering, "I'm not drunk, Dongfang, I'm really not drunk."
Then, she continued to plead in a slightly coquettish tone, "Just let me have a little more, just a little bit, please..." Her appearance made it really hard to refuse.
Faced with the adorable and playful Li Baobei who was acting coquettishly towards him, Dongfang Yerong felt a tingling sensation all over his body, and he seemed to be frozen in place.
Taking advantage of the moment, Li Baobei quickly grabbed the wine jug and dodged to the side, her movements light and agile as a swallow in flight.
She slightly raised her head, tilting the exquisite white jade wine pot in her hand at a slight angle, and the clear, transparent wine flowed slowly down the spout.
A few drops of crystal-clear wine playfully slid down Li Baobei's slender, fair neck, like a string of shimmering pearls.
A gentle breeze swept by, and her jet-black, lustrous hair fluttered in the wind, making her look as graceful and beautiful as a fairy descending to earth.
Compared to her, the vibrant pink peach blossoms behind her paled in comparison, not even a fraction as beautiful.
At this moment, Li Baobei was slightly drunk, her eyes were hazy and unfocused, and everything around her seemed to become exceptionally gentle.
She gazed at Dongfang Yerong standing beside her, but felt that his face was somewhat blurry, gradually transforming into a face that was both familiar and unfamiliar.
The wine jug slipped from Li Baobei's hand without her noticing, and she couldn't help but walk towards Dongfang Yerong, her steps unsteady yet firm.
She called out softly and casually, "Why worry?"
At that moment, she didn't know why the face in front of her gave her such a strong sense of security and closeness; she just wanted to stay close to him.
So she gently nestled into his warm, broad embrace, and whispered, "I missed you so much, Heyou..."
