Chapter 39 Nightmare (5)

The dimly lit room had no superfluous decorations, and in the corner sat eight or nine children with limb disabilities.

They were all trembling and huddled in the corner of the room furthest from the door. Some had lost one hand, some two, some had lost both hands and feet, and some...

When Li Baobei came in, she saw this scene. She felt like her eyes were about to pop out, and a feeling of suffocation suddenly spread throughout her body, making her gasp for breath, as if she would suffocate to death at any moment.

She immediately began to gag violently, but nothing came out.

The disabled children sat blankly on the ground, some lying down, some crawling on their stomachs; hell couldn't be worse than this.

When He You entered, their faces were expressionless, like soulless puppets, devoid of any life, which looked somewhat eerie and terrifying.

He You watched all of this indifferently, believing that they would come back to take him back.

He sat down in the spot closest to the door and waited quietly.

As the light from the windows outside gradually disappeared and the room was completely dark, he seemed to suddenly realize something.

He was abandoned again.

A sense of powerlessness permeated his small body, and at this moment, a trace of pain finally appeared on his face.

Then it began to tremble slightly.

The sky finally became completely dark, and the room was eerily quiet.

A moment later, heavy footsteps sounded outside, the door was flung open, and the scarred man slowly walked in.

He spotted He You not far from the door at a glance.

They pulled him up and led him outside, then closed the door behind them.

He You followed him to a place with a strong smell of blood.

The scene that came into view was truly astonishing.

There was a large, thick table in the room, on which sat an extremely sharp machete.

There were traces of blood on the table, a shocking sight.

It was as if the room was filled with the desperate cries of a child.

The man released He You's small hand, turned around and took a dark red apron, slowly tying it around his body.

He You seemed to hear someone shouting in his ear: "Run, run, He You..."

The sound kept echoing in his ears.

The little boy suddenly ran outside like a madman. The man turned around and saw that the person standing at the door had suddenly disappeared. He then let out a fierce snort.

"court death!"

He immediately chased after the little boy who had run off to.

He You followed her memory to the entrance gate, only to find that the gate had been locked from the inside.

He saw a staircase nearby and immediately turned around and ran up it.

He ran up to the second floor and randomly pushed open the door of one of the rooms. He immediately ran over and opened the window, thankfully it could be opened.

He immediately considered jumping down, but realized that jumping from the second floor would likely result in injury, and the man might grab him back again.

He opened the window wide and looked around. He found a large wardrobe in the room and a large bed next to it.

The scarred man rushed in fiercely, and first ran to the window to look outside.

He then let out a fierce, cold snort.

Then he planned to close the door and leave.

The door slammed shut with a bang.

Only faint breathing could be heard in the room.

He You was about to let out a big sigh of relief.

Sudden……
