He was dressed in a black casual suit, with handsome features and a cool, clean demeanor. He wore gold-rimmed glasses, which made him look refined and gentlemanly. He had a slight smile on his face, and his eyes behind the lenses sparkled with starlight.
Nan Jiangmu noticed Su Yaoyao at a glance.
She sat by the window, her fiery red dress making her unadorned face even more radiant and captivating, as dazzling as the blazing sun. Her beauty was so striking that it was almost blinding. She sat languidly, her eyes revealing a myriad of charms with every glance, yet the faint coolness in her gaze added a touch of noble purity to her beauty, making her seem untouchable. She didn't need to do anything to be captivating.
A flash of amazement crossed Nan Jiangmu's eyes as he slowly walked over.
"I thought you were inviting me out for coffee alone. Before I agreed, I was worried that if Chi Yan found out that I was meeting you alone, he might cause me trouble."
Nan Jiangmu spoke gently, teasing in the most natural tone, his gaze sweeping over Bai Ruanruan's somewhat dazed face.
"It seems I was overthinking it."
Su Yaoyao was amused by his serious expression; "I brought a little sister along because I was afraid Dr. Nan would feel awkward."
A strange emotion flashed in Nan Jiangmu's eyes.
"Um, hello, my name is Bai Ruanruan, you can just call me Ruanruan!"
Upon hearing Su Yaoyao mention her, Bai Ruanruan immediately stood up and stretched out her chubby little hands to Nan Jiangmu.
Nan Jiangmu paused for a moment, then reached out and gently squeezed his hand; "Nan Jiangmu."
Bai Ruanruan held onto his hand tightly, her smile a little silly; "Hehehe... Brother Nan..."
Su Yaoyao: "???"
Her eyelids twitched, and she had a bad feeling. Nan Jiangmu was almost thirty, while Bai Ruanruan was so young. She hoped she wouldn't be bewitched by his good looks.

Su Yaoyao's hands were very cold. When she pulled Bai Ruanruan, she accidentally touched Nan Jiangmu's hand.

He took a sip of coffee to hide his flustered state before looking up at Su Yaoyao; "What brings you to me today?"
Su Yaoyao's smile was somewhat awkward; "Well, actually, I came to you because I wanted you to help investigate Su Qingqing."
Nan Jiangmu paused slightly; "Su Qingqing?"
Su Yaoyao nodded; "Dr. Nan, I know you and Yu Chiyan have a good relationship, so you must know about Su Qingqing's depression. And because you and Yu Chiyan have a good relationship, you probably don't want her to be deceived, right?"
A hint of surprise flashed in Nan Jiangmu's eyes.
He knew Su Qingqing had depression, but he wasn't an expert in the field, so he hadn't been involved in her treatment. How did Su Yaoyao know she was sick? Hadn't Yu Chiyan kept it a secret? But…

Nan Jiangmu didn't take Bai Ruanruan's words seriously, but when he saw the hopeful look in Su Yaoyao's eyes, he couldn't refuse in the end; "Okay, I promise you."
Su Yaoyao was overjoyed; "Thank you, Dr. Nan."
"However, don't let Yu Chiyan know about this for now."
Nan Jiangmu took a sip of coffee, smiled, and nodded.
The three discussed the investigation plan again, and by the time they finished talking, it was almost dark.
Su Yaoyao offered to treat the two of them to dinner, and Bai Ruanruan's phone rang. When she saw the caller ID, she slapped her forehead, a hint of fear in her eyes.
"Oh no, the teacher found out I skipped class! Sister Su, I have to go now, see you later!"
"See you again, Brother Nan!"
