Su Yaoyao pursed her lips and didn't say anything, while Huo Xiting smiled and comforted her.
"Don't overthink it, this scar is a badge of honor."
Su Yaoyao was touched but also amused by him; "You're just talking nonsense."
Seeing her smile, Huo Xiting smiled along with her.
Su Yaoyao quickly completed the discharge procedures for Huo Xiting, and the two left the hospital.
Wen Qing was already waiting outside. As soon as Huo Xiting came out, he went up to greet him.
"Mr. Huo."
Huo Xiting nodded, handed the things in his hand to Wen Qing, and then looked at Su Yaoyao.
"Where are you going now? I'll take you there."
Su Yaoyao smiled and said, "We might not be going the same way."
Huo Xiting raised an eyebrow; "Where to?"
"Let's go to the quiet bar over at Changjie Square."
Indeed, it wasn't on my way. Huo Xiting smiled and said, "Get in the car, I'll take you on a detour."
He stepped forward and opened the car door for Su Yaoyao, not giving her a chance to refuse.
Su Yaoyao didn't refuse in the end. After getting into the car, Huo Xiting asked her again.
"Going to a quiet bar for drinks in broad daylight?"
Su Yaoyao replied to a message on her phone: "Yeah, I don't know what's wrong with Jiang Wen, he suddenly asked me and Shen Jia to go drinking."
Because of their previous experience at the bar, they were both a bit wary of that place, so they chose a quieter bar that was relatively less chaotic. Moreover, Jiang Wen had brought bodyguards this time, so there shouldn't be any danger.
Huo Xiting nodded; "The Jiang family has been having a lot of troubles lately, probably due to too much pressure."
Su Yaoyao didn't speak, but her inner voice told her that things were probably not that simple.
They soon arrived at the bar entrance. Huo Xiting watched Su Yiyao get out of the car and gently gave her some instructions.
"Be careful, call me if anything happens, and I'll be there immediately."
Su Yaoyao nodded seriously; "Okay, I understand."
"Be careful on your way back."

Huo Xiting waved goodbye and watched her go inside before instructing Wen Qing to drive.
The bar was playing soothing music and was dimly lit. There weren't many people inside at this hour, so Su Yaoyao easily found Jiang Wen and Shen Jia.
"You're finally here. Quickly try to persuade her; she's drinking without saying a word."
Looking at the bottles of wine on the table, and hearing the worry in Shen Jia's tone, Su Yaoyao said something.
"It's okay, she brought bodyguards today, she just wants to drink to her heart's content."
Su Yaoyao glanced at the tall, burly man sitting in the corner of the sofa.
She recognized the bodyguard; his name seemed to be A-Qiang.
Jiang Wen poured herself another glass of wine, intending to down it in one gulp, when a glass of wine was extended in front of her and clinked against hers.
Looking up with those still relatively clear eyes, I saw Su Yaoyao.
"Alright, I'll drink with you."
Shen Jia was stunned when she saw this scene; "Yaoyao, what's wrong with you? Instead of trying to stop her, you're drinking with her?"
Su Yaoyao smiled; "Jiajia, you're not planning to drink today?"
She arrived early, but there was only food in front of her, no wine.
Upon hearing this, Shen Jia's eyes darted around; "Um... I... I can't drink alcohol."
Su Yaoyao and Jiang Wen tightened their grip on their wine glasses at the same time, their gazes falling in unison on Shen Jiaping's flat stomach.
"Are you pregnant with your second child?"
The two spoke in unison, their voices filled with surprise.
Shen Jia instantly bristled; "Hey, hey, how can you two try to clear someone's name? I didn't do anything wrong!"
Jiang Wen pursed his lips; "Then how did you reform yourself?"
Shen Jiake used to be the craziest one.
Shen Jia's eyes flickered. She wouldn't tell the two sisters that last time she stole wine from the cellar at home, got drunk, and made a fool of herself, only to be taken advantage of by Gu Tingmo. And to make matters worse, that man forbade her from drinking outside, or else…
Shen Jiaguang felt a backache just thinking about it.
Forget it, drinking alcohol is bad for your health and kidneys, so it's better not to drink at all.
"Um, my period is about to start in the next couple of days."
Hearing this, Su Yaoyao and Jiang Wen didn't say anything more. Instead, Su Yaoyao suddenly remembered that, barring any unforeseen circumstances, she would be arriving soon in the next couple of days.
"Yaoyao, have you found out anything about that person named Chaoyan? Is someone behind her?"
Su Yaoyao paused for a moment, then a bitter smile appeared on her face.
"It's Su Qingqing."
Shen Jia slammed his hand on the table. "I knew it was related to that woman!"
Jiang Wen frowned immediately; "So much time has passed, what is Yu Chiyan thinking? Isn't he going to seek justice for you?"
"Yeah, Su Qingqing is constantly dominating the top spot on Weibo's trending topics list. Yu Chiyan is definitely helping her out. What is he thinking? Doesn't he intend to seek justice for you?"
Shen Jia's tone was one of righteous indignation.
Su Yaoyao smiled bitterly; "He is unwilling to seek justice for me. It is his choice to favor Su Qingqing, and I have nothing to say about that. But he hid Chaoyan and erased all traces of this matter. My teeth were broken, but he wanted me to swallow them along with the blood. I can't swallow this insult."
Jiang Wen and Shen Jia both felt sorry for him, but Jiang Wen still maintained a degree of rationality.
"Yaoyao, did you ask him what he really meant?"
Su Yaoyao poured herself a glass of wine, tilted her head back, and gulped it down. Her voice was so calm it sounded almost unreal.
“Yu Chiyan didn’t say anything. He only said that Su Qingqing’s matter had nothing to do with this, and that he would compensate Huo Xiting.”
