The next day.
Su Yaoyao received a call from a company in the morning, saying that she had been hired and that she could start work in two days. This made Su Yaoyao feel good. She hummed a little tune and planned to go out to buy some groceries to celebrate with Bai Ruanruan in the evening.
The most important thing is that the company has employee dormitories. If she stays for another two days, she'll probably have to move out.
But to her surprise, Huo Xiting called her as soon as she stepped out the door.
"Yaoyao, are you free tonight? I'd like to invite you to dinner."

If Su Yaoyao could remain unmoved after hearing this, she would be letting Huo Xiting down time and time again for risking his life to save her!
Thinking of this, Su Yaoyao immediately changed her mind.

After the two hung up the phone, Su Yaoyao smiled helplessly.
Well, she could always meet up with Bai Ruanruan, and Huo Xiting was happy today, plus she was his only friend. She decided to spend time with Huo Xiting first.
Thinking this, Su Yaoyao sent Bai Ruanruan a message, roughly saying that she would be back late that night and asked her to prepare dinner herself.

Time flies, and before we knew it, it was evening.
Su Yaoyao arrived at the appointment on time, and Huo Xiting was already waiting for her in the private room, having even ordered the dishes.

"Yaoyao, sit down quickly."

Su Yaoyao put her bag on the table, lifted her skirt, and sat down.
Huo Xiting, sitting opposite him, smiled upon hearing this; "No need to be so polite with me."
Su Yaoyao raised an eyebrow; "I won't stand on ceremony with you. Today is a happy occasion, and I'm in such a good mood, so I'll eat more and make you bleed."
Upon hearing this, Huo Xiting looked at her meaningfully; "Don't worry, I won't be the one bleeding."
Su Yaoyao paused, her hand still holding the food she was picking up, and looked at him with some confusion; "If it's not you, then who is it?"
Huo Xiting didn't speak, but just looked at her with a faint smile.
Seeing him keeping her in suspense, Su Yaoyao couldn't help but give him a slight glare: "You still haven't told me what the happy event is."
Huo Xiting smiled and said to her, "Yaoyao, what do you think of me compared to Yu Chiyan?"
Su Yaoyao blinked in confusion; "Why do you want to compete with him?"
Huo Xiting looked genuinely happy, his brows radiating a sense of ease and contentment.
"If one day everyone stands on my side, what about you? Would you stand on my side too?"
Su Yaoyao was even more confused; "Huo Xiting, what are you up to? I don't quite understand what you're saying."
Huo Xiting smiled and placed a piece of food on her plate, his eyes subtly smiling as he looked at her.
"To put it simply, if there's a cake that both Yu Chiyan and I want, but everyone thinks my piece should be mine, what about you? Would you stop Yu Chiyan and me from fighting over that cake?"
Su Yaoyao understood. She thought about it seriously and finally shook her head.
"I won't."
The business world is like a battlefield, and she doesn't understand its intricacies. Besides, she can't stop such things from happening.
Upon hearing this, Huo Xiting smiled with satisfaction. "That's good."
Su Yaoyao was confused; "So what's the happy event that makes you happy?"
Huo Xiting kept everyone in suspense; "You'll find out in a couple of days."
Su Yaoyao was speechless at his suspenseful behavior.
The two had just finished eating when Huo Xiting and Su Yaoyao left the restaurant. A little girl walked over from across the street, carrying a flower basket and selling flowers.
The young girl was very perceptive; she immediately set her sights on the handsome Su Yaoyao and beautiful Huo Xiting.
"Big brother, buy your girlfriend a bouquet of flowers. Red roses represent sincere and passionate love."
Huo Xiting was taken aback.
Su Yaoyao was wearing a black dress today, while Huo Xiting was wearing a white suit. To be honest, they actually looked a bit like a young couple.
Realizing what was happening, Su Yaoyao quickly tried to explain, "Little sister...you..."
"Little sister, you've got it all wrong. This isn't my girlfriend."
