For some reason, Su Yaoyao suddenly felt a little cold. When she looked up at Huo Xiting, all the expressions on the man's face had been hidden.
"Huo Xiting, don't you think the temperature has dropped a bit too quickly tonight?"
Huo Xiting glanced elsewhere out of the corner of his eye, but when he looked at Su Yaoyao, his eyes were filled with doting affection.
"I don't feel it. Are you cold? Wait a minute."
As Huo Xiting was speaking, he was about to take off his suit jacket when Su Yaoyao quickly grabbed his hand.
"No need, no need, I'm not cold. You can take me home; it's getting late."
Huo Xiting looked at the small hand that was holding his big hand, and couldn't suppress the smile on his lips.
"good."
The two walked side by side toward the parking lot. A short while later, Huo Xiting's car emerged from the shadows and quickly disappeared into the bustling road.

Huo Xiting took Su Yaoyao to the Landi residential area and only then learned that she had moved out of the Yu family's old house.
"Is it because of the morning glory?"
Upon hearing this, Su Yaoyao shook her head; "Not entirely."
Asagao's incident was just a trigger; the real reason was that this relationship was making her feel too tired. Being with Yu Chiyan now made her feel suffocated, so she wanted some peace and quiet.
Huo Xiting knew she didn't want to say more, so he didn't press her, and only said one sentence.
"Whatever makes you happy."
Su Yaoyao smiled; "It's alright, quite relaxing."
It's relaxing, not happy.
After a brief exchange, Huo Xiting drove away.
Su Yaoyao, holding the roses, swiped her card to enter the residential area, but at the entrance downstairs, she saw a tall and imposing figure.
He exuded a chilling aura, carrying a powerful sense of oppression. The night was too dark for her to see his expression, but she could sense that his gaze was icy and chilling.
Su Yaoyao felt a sudden panic and even hid the roses in her hand behind her back.
"Yu...Yu Chiyan, what are you doing here?"
Su Yaoyao's subconscious action was seen by the man, which made her feel guilty after being caught red-handed.
His steps were extremely slow, but every step felt like stepping on Su Yaoyao's heart.
"Su Yaoyao, are you happy being with Huo Xiting?"
His tone was low, and there was a hidden ferocity in his voice, just waiting for the right moment to erupt.
"Something happy happened today, and he and I just went out for dinner to celebrate. Don't overthink it."
However, as soon as he said this, Yu Chiyan's face instantly darkened. He snatched the flowers from Su Yaoyao's hand and threw them to the ground. Then, he grabbed her waist with one hand and pulled her shoulder with the other, twisting her arm forcefully and slamming her against the wall next to him.
He seemed to have lost control, and his strength was a bit too much, causing Su Yaoyao's back to feel a burning pain.
"Happy news? What is it? Su Yaoyao, are you happy for Huo Xiting too?"
He almost growled, and his eyes even turned a little bloodshot.
Su Yaoyao didn't know where his anger came from, and she bit her lip.
“Yu Chiyan. He is my friend, and he has risked his life for me time and time again, so what’s wrong with me being happy for him?”
Her voice rose, filled with anger and incomprehension.
Yu Chiyan looked into her eyes, his face ashen, his gaze devoid of warmth, and his voice chillingly sarcastic.
"Hehe, Su Yaoyao, in your eyes, what am I, what is the Yu family, and what is Grandma? I never expected that you would be so happy when Huo Xiting destroyed the Yu family."
Upon hearing this, Su Yaoyao's mind went blank for a moment.
What is it?
Why did we suddenly get involved with the Yu family?
Yu Chiyan didn't notice Su Yaoyao's stiff expression; he just kept a cold face and uttered harsh words, one by one.
"Su Yaoyao, don't be too happy for him yet. It's still uncertain who will win."
He patted Su Yaoyao's face lightly, his tone filled with danger and coldness.
Su Yaoyao was stiff all over, her mind a jumble of thoughts. She thought of what Huo Xiting had said today about a cake. Could that so-called cake be from the Yu family?
Yu Chiyan had once annexed his Huo family, so Huo Xiting wanted to do the same, but how could he possibly move the Yu family?
What gives Huo Xiting his confidence?
Su Yaoyao suddenly felt a chill run down her spine. She grabbed Yu Chiyan's clothes, wanting to say something, but Yu Chiyan's phone suddenly rang.
The man released Su Yaoyao, stepped back a few paces, and answered the phone.
After hearing what the person on the other end said, Yu Chiyan's expression suddenly changed, and he said, "Give me the address, I'm coming right away!"
After saying this, Yu Chiyan didn't even glance at Su Yaoyao again, and turned to leave.
If it were daytime, Su Yaoyao might have noticed the panic in the man's back, and his hurried footsteps would have revealed the turmoil in his heart...
Su Yaoyao glanced at the flowers he had thrown on the ground, which were now trampled to pieces. For some reason, she had a feeling that something was about to happen.
Yu Chiyan's demeanor and words tonight made Su Yaoyao feel uneasy and apprehensive...

When Su Yaoyao returned to her room, she found that Bai Ruanruan's bedroom lights were off, and she seemed to be asleep.
She went to the bathroom to take a shower, and before coming out, she turned her head to look at the red patch of skin on her back in the mirror, feeling a mix of emotions.
Back in her room, Su Yaoyao lay on the bed, but couldn't fall asleep.
After thinking for a moment, she removed Yu Chiyan's phone number from her blacklist. Then she called him.
