The continuous drizzle slanted across the transparent tempered glass, blurring the view outside the window.
Su Yaoyao didn't sleep well last night, and her eyes were swollen and bloodshot when she woke up in the morning. Bai Ruanruan came out of the bedroom, yawning and rubbing her eyes as she spoke.
"Sister Su, did you not sleep well last night?"
Su Yaoyao had just brought out the millet porridge and answered Bai Ruanruan without even looking up.
"It rained last night, so I went to bed a little late. Ruan Ruan, go wash up quickly, breakfast will be ready soon."
Bai Ruanruan didn't think much of it, just said "oh," and went to brush her teeth.
Su Yaoyao put all the breakfast she had made on the table, just as Bai Ruanruan finished cleaning up.
Bai Ruanruan was drinking millet porridge and eating dumplings when she suddenly sighed.
"Sister Su, I wish you could stay here with me forever."
Hearing this, Su Yaoyao couldn't help but laugh; "Are you afraid that if I leave, no one will cook delicious food for you?"
Seeing through her little scheme, Bai Ruanruan looked at her with a slightly embarrassed smile.
"Hehe, I'm still young and need to grow, so of course I need to eat well."
Su Yaoyao was amused by her serious expression; "Then don't even think about it, I have to leave tomorrow."
Bai Ruanruan exclaimed, suddenly finding the dumplings in her mouth tasteless; "Sister Su, where are you going? You can stay here with me."
Su Yaoyao smiled and shook her head; "How can that be? You've already gone to so much trouble these past two days. I've found a job, and I can start working the day after tomorrow. I'm moving into the company dormitory tomorrow. Tonight, let's have something delicious to celebrate starting work."
Hearing Su Yaoyao's plans, Bai Ruanruan suddenly thought of something; "Sister Su, are you really not going back to the Yu family? Won't that big devil Yu Chiyan cause you trouble?"
Su Yaoyao paused, her hand holding the chopsticks. She felt a slight pang of pain in her heart, but she still had to pretend to be nonchalant.
"We'll talk about it later. Right now, I just want some peace and quiet."
Upon hearing this, Bai Ruanruan suddenly tilted her head and asked, "Then, Sister Su, are you still looking for Chaoyan?"
"Of course we looked for it."
No matter what, she had to find evidence to prove that Su Qingqing was the one who instigated Chaoyan.
Su Yaoyao originally thought it would take some time to get information out of Chaoyan, but she didn't expect that after the two finished breakfast, Bai Ruanruan came running over with her phone in the time it took her to wash the dishes.
"Sister Su, Chaoyan asked me if I can see her today!"
Su Yaoyao immediately put down the plate containing her phone and looked at the information on the screen.
The above is a message from Asagao.
"Haven't you always wanted to meet? Come here."
Below that sentence, an address was also sent.
Su Yaoyao glanced at it, and her eyes narrowed instantly.
A slum in the southern suburbs?
Things seem to be getting a little strange.

The two quickly packed their things and went out. About two hours later, the taxi stopped on the outskirts of a slum in the southern suburbs.
The two got out of the car. Su Yaoyao and Bai Ruanruan were wearing masks and hats, covering their strikingly beautiful faces.
"Ruan Ruan, just wait for me here. Asagao's address isn't far from here."
Bai Ruanruan nodded upon hearing this; "Okay, Sister Su, then be careful and remember to call me if anything happens."
Su Yaoyao nodded; "Okay."
After she finished speaking, she was about to go into the alley in front of her when Bai Ruanruan suddenly called out to her.
"Wait, Sister Su, take this with you."
Bai Ruanruan ran forward and handed something to Su Yaoyao.
Su Yaoyao glanced down, put the things in her bag, and teased Bai Ruanruan in the process.
"Your hobby is truly that of a private investigator."
Bai Ruanruan raised an eyebrow upon hearing this.
Su Yaoyao then stopped talking and turned to leave.
Watching her retreating figure, a deep emotion, completely out of character for her age, appeared on Bai Ruanruan's round and adorable face.
However, on the other hand...
A woman dressed in gorgeous clothes sat on a pear wood chair. She stretched out her slender fingers and admired her newly done gradient nail art. The smile in her almond-shaped eyes looked somewhat eerie in the dim room.
"She's here?"
A man wearing a mask, with only his eyes visible, emerged from the shadows.
"It's on its way."
Upon hearing this, the woman nodded slightly, a sinister smile spreading across her lips.
She really wanted to see how Su Yaoyao would react when she saw her; it would be very interesting.

Su Yaoyao walked through two alleys and saw many beggars huddled in haystacks. She frowned slightly.
