The news that Su Yaoyao had divorced Yu Chiyan and was getting engaged to Huo Xiting swept through the entire Nancheng on the very day Huo Xiting was discharged from the hospital.
Opinions on Su Yaoyao's comments regarding this matter are mixed online.
Some people say that Su Yaoyao is a woman of great courage and determination.
Yu Chiyan fell on hard times, and immediately hooked up with Huo Xiting, a new ghost who is also the adopted son of Yu Chiyan's uncle. This is something that most women wouldn't do.

But Su Yaoyao chose to ignore all the arguments.

Just as I finished tidying up my workstation at the end of the workday, Huo Xiting called.
"Are you off work, Yaoyao?"

As he finished speaking, Su Yaoyao stepped out of the door, and sure enough, a limited edition Rolls-Royce was parked across the street.

"Yaoyao, are you here to pick you up?"

"I didn't expect Mr. Huo to treat you so well."
"Yaoyao really knows how to manipulate people. When are you going to open a tutoring class? I'll add money."
Someone saw Su Yaoyao and couldn't help but make a few teasing remarks.
Su Yaoyao felt a little embarrassed, but she didn't show it on her face, responding to everyone with a perfect fake smile.
"Actually, you don't need any special methods to understand the hearts of rich people; all you need is to be good-looking."
Upon hearing this, everyone looked at each other in surprise.
Su Yaoyao is indeed beautiful enough that no one in the entire company can compare to her in terms of temperament or appearance.

Huo Xiting had obviously heard Su Yaoyao's words. As soon as she got into the car, she noticed that the man had one hand on the steering wheel, with a half-smile on his handsome face.

Su Yaoyao was surprised that Huo Xiting's ears were so sensitive that he could hear her from so far away. She pretended to be surprised and replied.
"What? Someone said you're a lecher?"
Huo Xiting watched her somewhat exaggerated performance, his eyes filled with the same doting affection and tenderness as always.
"I heard everything you just said."
Su Yaoyao nodded; "Yes, I was saying I'm pretty, is there a problem?"
In other words, I was simply praising my own beauty and didn't mean to say anything bad about anyone. What others think is none of her business.
Su Yaoyao's next words made Huo Xiting chuckle.
"You!"
He shook his head gently, a hint of helplessness on his handsome face.
Instead of looking at Huo Xiting, Su Yaoyao turned her head to look out the car window and asked him in confusion.
Where are we going?
Huo Xiting looked ahead, and upon hearing Su Yaoyao's words, an incredibly gentle expression appeared on his face.
"We're getting engaged soon, I'll take you to pick out a ring."
Upon hearing Huo Xiting's words, Su Yaoyao instinctively resisted, and her expression stiffened for a moment.
"This...isn't it too much trouble? Just have someone go to the store and get two pairs."
Huo Xiting's smile froze slightly, and a hint of bitterness welled up in his eyes, but he concealed it well. When he spoke again, there was not a trace of anything unusual in his voice.
"That won't do. We're the ones getting engaged; how can we let someone else choose the ring?"
Su Yaoyao realized she had said the wrong thing. She pursed her lips and gave an embarrassed smile.
"Well, I was just worried about making you late for work."
Suddenly, Huo Xiting grasped her soft, white hand from behind.
"Yaoyao, whether you believe it or not, in my heart, your affairs will always be the top priority."
Huo Xiting gripped her very tightly, and Su Yaoyao had to use some effort to break free.
"Okay, I understand, Xiting. Don't drive with one hand, it's too dangerous."
Feeling the emptiness in his palm, Huo Xiting's eyes filled with disappointment.
Su Yaoyao sensed Huo Xiting's emotions, but she was unable to respond.
Because her engagement party with Huo Xiting was impossible to proceed.
Upon arriving at the jewelry store, Huo Xiting had clearly composed himself. He smiled warmly and led Su Yaoyao into the store.
The jewelry store manager warmly greeted the two of them personally.
"Mr. Huo, Ms. Su, are you here to pick out some jewelry?"
Huo Xiting looked at Su Yaoyao tenderly before saying to the manager, "We'd like to pick out a pair of engagement rings."
Upon hearing this, the manager beamed with joy. "So it turns out your wedding day is approaching, Mr. Huo. How about this? I'll have someone find the styles from the last two months, so you and Ms. Su can take your time choosing and avoid getting overwhelmed by too many options."
Upon hearing this, Huo Xiting turned his questioning gaze to Su Yaoyao. Seeing that she nodded, he then smiled faintly at the manager.
"Then please bring out the new model."
The manager nodded with a smile, then jogged off to retrieve the goods.
Su Yaoyao and Huo Xiting sat quietly on the sofa, waiting.
