Three days later.
Today is the day Su Yaoyao marries into the Yu family.
Contrary to expectations of a lively and bustling scene, the place was rather quiet and deserted. As evening approached, a wedding car picked up Su Yaoyao and took her to the Yu family home.
The lights were off in the new house, and through the dim moonlight, Su Yaoyao could vaguely see a person lying on the bed.

The woman in black tucked her long whip into her waistband and helped Su Yaoyao up. When she saw the face clearly, a cold glint flashed in Yu Chiyan's eyes.
This woman is not the one he wants to marry!

Upon hearing this, the woman in black immediately moved, turned around, and disappeared into the shadows.
Upon hearing Su Yaoyao's screams, Uncle Chen hurriedly pushed open the door.

At first, Yu Chiyan refused when he heard about the marriage alliance with the Su family, but three days ago, he suddenly changed his mind and agreed for some unknown reason.
Looking at the unconscious Su Yaoyao on the bed, Uncle Chen pondered something to himself.
After a while, the family doctor arrived, examined Su Yaoyao, and said that there was nothing seriously wrong; she had just fainted from shock and would be fine after some rest.
Uncle Chen was relieved and turned off the light to leave the room.
Early the next morning.
When Su Yaoyao woke up, it was already broad daylight.
The room was empty, no one was there. Su Yaoyao recalled the scene from last night and couldn't help but shiver again. Yu Chiyan was really too terrifying!
"Young Madam, are you awake?"
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door; it was the maid's voice.
Su Yaoyao quickly straightened her clothes, cleared her throat, and said, "Come in."
A maid pushed open the door and entered, carrying a tray in her hand.
“Young Madam, these are the clothes that Butler Chen asked me to prepare. They are for your homecoming today. Also, Butler Chen said that you should go see him after you are ready. He has something to discuss with you.”
Su Yaoyao's eyes flickered slightly; "Okay, I understand. I'll wash up and change my clothes and then go."
After the maid left, Su Yaoyao finished tidying up in less than half an hour and then went downstairs.
Uncle Chen was preparing gifts for Su Yaoyao's return visit when he saw her come downstairs. His smile widened, and when he noticed Su Yaoyao looking around as if searching for something, Uncle Chen asked her with a smile.
"Young Madam, are you looking for the young master?"
Su Yaoyao's face paled slightly. She did want to see if Yu Chiyan was there. After all, she had married him, and last night, she had been so frightened by him that she fainted...
It's hard for any man to feel good about his wife fainting on their wedding night, especially someone as dazzling as Yu Chiyan.
"Young Madam, the young master is in his study and hasn't left his room all morning."
Su Yaoyao's face paled slightly; "Is it... because of what happened yesterday...? I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to."
She was genuinely terrified...
