Upon seeing Su Yaoyao, Xu Xiaoxin raised her head, her blank gaze falling on Su Yaoyao's face, and suddenly regained some interest.
"Yaoyao..."
Su Yaoyao stepped forward and hugged her tenderly; "Xiaoxin, don't be afraid, I'm here."
No matter what happens, she will stay by her side.
Xu Xiaoxin's heart was warmed once again by Su Yaoyao; "Yaoyao, I will drag you down with me."
Su Yaoyao's eyes were red, but upon hearing this, she put on a forced, relaxed smile.
"What are you afraid of? We don't need to care what others say. Come on, come to my place."
After Xu Xiaoxin blankly said "okay," she got into the car with Su Yaoyao.
An hour later.
Su Yaoyao brought Jiang Wen to the Golden Royal Garden.
She personally helped Jiang Wen make the bed in the guest room and found her a brand new nightgown.
"Don't think too much. Go take a shower and get some rest."
Xu Xiaoxin took the clothes and nodded; "Okay."
After saying this, she went into the bathroom. Su Yaoyao came out of the room, thinking that Xu Xiaoxin probably hadn't eaten anything, so she planned to go to the kitchen to get her something to eat. But unexpectedly, the sound of an engine suddenly came from outside.
It must be Yu Chiyan who has returned.
She thought about it for a moment, then went out to talk to him about Xu Xiaoxin.
When Yu Chiyan saw Su Yaoyao come out, he quickly went to greet her.
"What are you doing out here? It's cold outside."
Su Yaoyao looked up at him and cut straight to the point: "Yu Chiyan, I brought Xu Xiaoxin home."
Yu Chiyan's eyes darkened instantly; "She's severed ties with the Jiang family?"
Su Yaoyao wasn't entirely sure about this, but she figured it was probably close enough.
"Anyway, I have to keep Xiaoxin at home tonight. If you feel it's inconvenient, I'll find her a new place tomorrow. I definitely won't bother you for too long."
Upon hearing this, Yu Chiyan frowned instantly; "There's nothing inconvenient about it. Just let her stay at home. It's not safe for her to go outside."
Upon hearing this, a hint of surprise flashed in Su Yaoyao's eyes; "Yu Chiyan, you...you agree to let Xiaoxin move in."
Her question immediately displeased Yu Chiyan; "You make it sound like I'm some kind of heartless person."
Su Yaoyao hesitated for a moment; "Aren't you...aren't you afraid it will affect you?"
Yu Chiyan reached out and put his arm around her waist, a hint of helplessness on his face. "The only thing I'm afraid of is you being unhappy. As for anything else, it's not enough to scare me."
Su Yaoyao reached out and hugged Yu Chiyan, resting her head on the man's shoulder, her voice slightly nasal.
"Yu Chiyan, thank you."
Yu Chiyan gently patted her back; "Silly girl, we're husband and wife, why are you saying thank you?"
