Chen Huimei didn't notice her expression, but when she saw her fiddling with something, her face darkened.
"What are you doing? Can you hurry up? I need to catch my flight. Can you afford to waste time?"
The staff member wore an impeccable smile; "Madam, please don't worry, there seems to be a problem with our machine. Please wait here for a moment while I get someone to handle it."
Chen Huimei's face immediately showed a hint of urgency and impatience.
"Then hurry up, don't make me miss my flight."
The staff member smiled and said, "Don't worry, madam, we won't delay your scheduled departure time."
As the staff member spoke, he made a phone call.
A male voice quickly came from the other end: "Okay, I'm coming right now."
Chen Huimei, with her sharp ears, heard the voice on the other end and a hint of doubt flashed through her mind. Why did she feel that the voice on the staff member's phone was a little strange?
Just as she was thinking this, the voice appeared behind her.
"Mrs. Su, where are you going with all these bags and packages?"
Chen Huimei's face stiffened. She turned around and saw Jiang Chen standing calmly to the side, with Chu Ling standing next to him.
Chen Huimei threw down her luggage and turned to run away, but Chu Ling's indifferent voice rang out.
"Madam Su, do you think you can still leave now? Our Captain Chu is here. If we let you go, where will he put his face?"
Upon hearing this, Chu Ling raised an eyebrow and glanced at the person next to him with a lingering look.
"Are you trying to flatter me?"
Jiang Chen just smiled and didn't say anything.
Chen Huimei then noticed that several police officers had appeared in the airport terminal sometime during the day, and her eyes were anxiously searching for something.
Didn't Su Hai send people to protect her?
Why didn't she see any of those people?
Thinking of this, Chen Huimei's face paled even more. She suddenly turned her head to look at Jiang Chen and the other person, her eyes filled with resentment.
"Assistant Jiang, Captain Chu, I just wanted to go out for a couple of days to relax. What do you mean by bringing people to stop me?"
Chu Ling stood by, smiling without saying a word, while Jiang Chen spoke up with a smile.
“Mrs. Su, you probably can’t leave now. The Su family’s case from over ten years ago has been reopened. As the person who illegally poisoned Mrs. Mu, you have to come with us for an investigation.”
Chen Huimei's face changed drastically; "Bullshit, what nonsense are you spouting?"
Chen Huimei's voice was so loud that many people turned their attention to her.
"Mrs. Su, please come with us."
Mrs. Su?
Upon hearing this title, some people immediately remembered something.
"Is she Su Qingqing's mother?"
Is there another Madam Su in Nancheng?
"I think there aren't any left?"
Chen Huimei was recognized, making it impossible for her to leave.
"That person is Chu Ling, the captain of the criminal investigation team, right?"
"Why is he here, and why is he trying to take Madam Su away?"

Upon hearing this, everyone present gasped in shock.
Chen Huimei's expression turned even more unpleasant.
Chu Ling spoke up at this moment: "Madam Su, if you don't leave, I'll have to take coercive measures. I don't know what others will say then."
Chen Huimei's face turned ashen. She knew she probably wouldn't be able to leave today; the airport had likely been notified long ago to intercept her.
But Su Hai clearly told her that he had prepared everything and would definitely be able to let her leave smoothly.

As soon as he finished speaking, he hung up the phone and threw it onto the sofa.
"Huimei, don't worry, I will definitely avenge you if I get the chance."
Su Hai lowered his head, a few words escaping from his lips, his voice extremely low and hoarse.

While at the police station, Chen Huimei saw Chen Feng, who was holding a stack of documents—evidence he had just retrieved from the bank's safe deposit box, evidence that could land Chen Huimei in jail.
