Early the next morning.
When Su Yaoyao woke up, Yu Chiyan was no longer beside her. Her heart sank. She glanced around the room and noticed a slight noise coming from the balcony. Su Yaoyao immediately got up and went to investigate.
"Alright, since you've said so, I will definitely bring Yaoyao to see you."
"Take good care of yourself. We'll come over after breakfast."
Yu Chiyan was talking to someone, his voice unusually gentle, and even the coldness between his brows had dissipated considerably.
He used to only have this expression when he was facing her, but now...
"Yaoyao, why are you barefoot on the ground?"
Upon seeing Su Yaoyao, Yu Chiyan's eyes first flashed with surprise, and when he saw that she was standing barefoot on the floor, his brows immediately furrowed.
Su Yaoyao was startled. Looking down, she realized that she had forgotten to put on her shoes because she was in such a hurry.

"Don't move."
Before she could react, Yu Chiyan let out a low growl, causing Su Yaoyao to stop immediately.
"The ground is so cold, and you're walking barefoot on it so early in the morning. You've only been sick for a short time, and you're already causing trouble. Are you trying to drive me crazy?"

Although Yu Chiyan was muttering to himself, his body betrayed him as he picked up Su Yaoyao and carefully placed her on the bed, even using his large hands to warm the soles of her feet.

Yu Chiyan paused in his actions, then spoke casually.
“Serene.”
Although I had already guessed it, who else but Se Se could make Yu Chi Yan speak so gently?
Even knowing this, Su Yaoyao couldn't help but feel a little jealous.
"Why is she calling you so early in the morning? Is there something she needs?"
Yu Chiyan did not notice anything unusual about Su Yaoyao's emotions.
"Yaoyao, haven't you always wanted to see Sese? Why don't we do it today?"

Su Yaoyao's mind raced, but she quickly figured out what the two of them had said on the phone.
Su Yaoyao lowered her eyes, a somewhat ambiguous look in them.
"Sure, you can arrange the time."
"good."
After reaching an agreement, the two had breakfast together and then went to the hospital where Sese was.
Because of the kidnapping, Sese suffered some injuries. After Yu Chiyan brought Sese back from Paris, he personally took her to this hospital.
When the two entered the room, Yu Chiyan looked at Su Yaoyao, seemingly wanting to say something but holding back.
Su Yaoyao paused, realizing that the man had something to say, and immediately asked him.
"What's wrong? Is there something you want to tell me?"
Yu Chiyan's eyes darkened as he looked at Su Yaoyao, but he still offered a word of advice.
"Yaoyao, when you go inside later, watch your words a little. I'm worried about Seshe..."
Hearing this, Su Yaoyao felt a lump in her throat, but she still managed to force a smile.
"Don't worry, I won't upset Miss SeSe."
He simply wanted to remind himself what he could and couldn't say when he met Sese, and to keep a sense of proportion.
Sese lost one leg and also lost Yu Chiyan.
As a woman who stole Yu Chiyan, no one knows what attitude Sese will take, not even Yu Chiyan himself. But what he meant just now was to tell Su Yaoyao to be patient and to give in.
However, upon hearing Su Yaoyao's words, Yu Chiyan subconsciously wanted to defend himself.
"Yaoyao, that's not what I meant... I just..."
"Alright, Yu Chiyan, I didn't mean to blame you. Let's go inside quickly."
After saying this, Su Yaoyao ignored Yu Chiyan and continued walking forward on her own.
Yu Chiyan quickly chased after him.
The two arrived at the door of SeSe's hospital room one after the other.
Yu Chiyan was about to push the door open when a shrill scream suddenly came from inside, followed by the sound of a heavy object falling to the ground.
"Serene!"
Yu Chiyan subconsciously called out and then pushed the door open forcefully.
Su Yaoyao was equally startled. The couple looked into the ward at the same time and saw the woman fall to the ground in a disheveled state, with shards of a broken cup beside her.
Upon seeing Yu Chiyan, Sese's eyes instantly reddened.
"Chi Yan..."
Yu Chiyan's expression changed drastically. He disregarded everything else and quickly stepped forward to pick up Sese from the ground.
"What happened? Are you hurt?"
Sese buried her head in Yu Chiyan's chest, gripping the man's arm tightly with both hands. Her eyes were red, and she looked just like a little white rabbit being bullied by a big bad wolf. She gently shook her head.
"I...I'm fine. I just wanted to pour myself some water, but I didn't expect that I would be so useless that I couldn't even pour myself a glass of water."
As Se Se said this, she glanced at her empty trouser legs, and Yu Chiyan felt another pang of pain in his heart. He immediately roared with a gloomy face.
"What are these people at the hospital doing? I asked them to take care of you, and this is how they take care of me?"
Yu Chiyan's anger was particularly frightening. Just as Su Yaoyao was about to step forward to say something, more than a dozen doctors and nurses suddenly rushed in, immediately pushing Su Yaoyao to the door frame.
