"I just wanted to take you back to your room, what are you afraid of?"
Su Yaoyao wasn't actually afraid of Yu Chiyan; it's just that she's pregnant now and has to be extra careful, afraid of falling to the ground.
"Um, you...you should put me down. I can walk by myself."
Yu Chiyan ignored her words, gently patted her back, and his voice softened.
"Don't move, I'll carry you up."
His tone left no room for argument. After thinking for a moment, Su Yaoyao decided not to refuse and obediently rested her head on the man's shoulder.
Hearing his strong heartbeat in her ear and smelling the unique, cool fragrance of a man, Su Yaoyao felt both relieved and heartbroken.
How long can she rely on such a reassuring and warm embrace?
Yu Chiyan, unaware of Su Yaoyao's thoughts, carried her to the bed and suddenly pressed his body against hers.
Su Yaoyao panicked, placed her hands on his chest, and her eyelids trembled slightly; "Yu Chiyan, you can't..."
The man paused, and in the darkness, she could see his bright black eyes staring intently at her.
"Why?"
His voice was deep and pleasant, without any anger, just pure confusion.
Su Yaoyao bit her lip; "I...I've started my period."
What Su Yaoyao didn't know was that every time she lied, she would lightly bite her lip. Yu Chiyan looked down at her for two seconds, then sighed silently and pulled Su Yaoyao into his arms.
"Yaoyao, I'm sorry."
Upon hearing Yu Chiyan's apology, Su Yaoyao's heart began to pound uncontrollably.
"I've thought a lot about this these past few days. I was too hasty about Se Se's matter. I shouldn't have treated you that way and hurt your feelings. It was my fault. Please don't be angry, okay?"
Su Yaoyao was surprised that Yu Chiyan would apologize to her. She was somewhat astonished, but also felt even more aggrieved.

Upon hearing about the old lady, Su Yaoyao immediately agreed.
