The old lady narrowed her eyes; "That car was clearly coming for me, Yu Chiyan, don't you think someone is deliberately trying to harm me?"
First, Sese was mentioned, and then the old lady Yu brought it up again. Yu Chiyan already understood what was going on, but he still didn't want to think about things in a bad way.

Sese's words made Yu Chiyan's expression change; "Sese, what nonsense are you talking about? I have always treated you like my own sister."
His words made Sese feel wronged, and she immediately looked at the man in front of her with teary eyes.
“Brother Chi Yan, you are single now, so I can express my love to you. You know that from childhood to adulthood, you have always been the only person Sese has ever deeply loved.”
It's not just someone I've loved, it's someone I've always loved.
After saying this, Se Se leaned her head into Chi Yan's arms.
The man's expression changed slightly, and he subconsciously pushed her away.
Not paying attention to the strength in her hands, Se Se lost her balance and fell backward. By the time Yu Chi Yan reacted, it was too late to catch her.
They watched helplessly as Sese was about to fall to the ground.

Yu Chiyan then came to his senses and hurriedly helped Sese up, wheelchair and all.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. I was just too excited. Are you alright?"
Yu Chiyan looked somewhat guilty and asked Sese with concern.
Sese shook her head with tears streaming down her face; "I'm fine, you don't need to blame yourself."
A-Luan then got up from the ground.
"Mr. Yu, you've gone too far. You knew Miss Se Se wasn't feeling well, yet you still pushed her. Aren't you afraid she'd fall and hit the back of her head? That's so dangerous!"
A-Luan was his person, and now, for Sese's sake, he would actually speak to him like that. After the initial surprise, he felt a wave of regret.
“SeSe…I…”
Sese gripped the wheelchair armrests tightly with both hands, looking at him with extremely hurt eyes.
"Brother Chi Yan, you go ahead and do your work. I want to calm down by myself."
Yu Chiyan wanted to say something, but Sese had already let A Luan push her away.
Watching Sese's retreating figure, Yu Chiyan felt a pang of unease, but he said nothing and turned to leave.

After learning about the old lady's situation, Su Yaoyao couldn't sleep, so she got out of bed.
I tentatively sent a message to Huo Xiting, but to my surprise, he called me back immediately.
"Yaoyao, it's so late, why aren't you asleep yet?"
Su Yaoyao pursed her lips; "I can't sleep."
"Are you still worried about the old lady?"
Huo Xiting's voice was exceptionally gentle: "Didn't I tell you? She's fine, just a little frightened."
Su Yaoyao's heart, which had been hanging in suspense, settled down again.
"And you, are you alright?"
"I'm fine, don't worry."
After a while, Su Yaoyao asked again, "Did Yu Chiyan contact you? What did he say?"
Huo Xiting had the phone on speakerphone, and the man on the other end of the line heard Su Yaoyao's words clearly.
"He probably hasn't had a chance to contact me yet. If he knew that the old lady Yu almost had an accident, and that it was related to Sese, I wonder what he would think."
Upon hearing this, Yu Chiyan's eyes darkened.
Su Yaoyao, unaware that Yu Chiyan was also present, voiced her thoughts.

Huo Xiting smiled, glanced at Yu Chiyan's unpleasant expression out of the corner of his eye, and said slowly.
"If Madam Yu knew the whole story, she would be very grateful to you. After learning about Sese's true identity, you have been keeping people protecting her. If it weren't for you, she would be in danger today."
Su Yaoyao remained silent for a long time before saying, "There are some things I'd rather have guessed wrong."
Upon hearing this, Huo Xiting's eyes darkened. "Don't overthink it. These are all Yu Chiyan's business. You don't need to worry about him."
Su Yaoyao's smile was somewhat bitter. Yes, they had no relationship anymore, so there was no need for her to be sad for him.
