As a commotion arose at the doorway, a slender figure slowly emerged.
Su Yaoyao wore an apricot-colored lace openwork long dress, which outlined her slender and graceful figure. Her long, dark hair was draped smoothly over her shoulders. Her small face was pale and bloodless, but this only added to her delicate beauty.
"It was her. She sent people to kidnap me."
When Zhuo Jiajia approached, Su Yaoyao extended a slender, white finger and pointed it directly at her.
Zhuo Jiajia turned pale with fright; "Su Yaoyao, what nonsense are you spouting? How dare you frame me!"
She lost her temper and started cursing wildly.
The two policemen exchanged a glance, frowned, and stepped forward. "You must be Zhuo Jiajia. Miss Su called the police. You sent people to kidnap her last night. Come with us."
Everyone was shocked, never expecting things to change so quickly!
"Um, could there be some misunderstanding?"
"Didn't you say that Su Yaoyao left on her own?"
"What exactly is going on?"
Zhuo Jiajia refused to cooperate; "No, I didn't kidnap her, she framed me!"
Su Yaoyao's face was extremely cold; "I framed you? Last night, I drank the wine you gave me when I left the private room, and as a result, I felt dizzy as soon as I stepped out the door, and then I was kidnapped. You dare to say that you have nothing to do with it?"
If it weren't for the fact that one of those people didn't seem to want to harm her last night, she probably would have been dead!
As soon as she finished speaking, Su Yaoyao took another step closer, her icy gaze sweeping over everyone present.
"Speaking of framing, I overheard your nonsense outside just now, and I'm sure the two police officers heard it too. Why don't we all come together?"
Upon hearing Su Yaoyao's words, many people turned pale.
"No...it has nothing to do with us, it was all Jiajia who said it."
"Yes, Jiajia told us all of that."
Zhuo Jiajia's face darkened when she saw that they were all pointing the finger at her.
"Su Yaoyao, if you dare let them take me away, my father will not let you get away with it!"
She glared fiercely at Su Yaoyao, as if she wanted to devour her.
Su Yaoyao looked at her expressionlessly; "Is that so? Then I'd like to see for myself."
The two policemen were also annoyed by her uncooperative attitude and their faces darkened.
"If you didn't do it, we will definitely clear your name. Now, please come with us."
Although Zhuo Jiajia was panicked inside, she didn't show it on her face. Before leaving, she called her father and asked him to save her.
Mr. Zhuo, who had just returned from a business trip, was so angry when he learned that his daughter had been taken to the police station that his face turned pale.
"Who would dare to bully my daughter? They don't want to live anymore!"
He slammed his hand hard on the desk, causing the surface to shake violently.
Hospital.
When Nan Jiangmu opened Su Yaoyao's hospital room, he found that she was not there. He frowned slightly and made a phone call to her.
Where did you go?
Su Yaoyao's voice sounded a little tired; "I just went to the company, but Huo Xiting wasn't there. I went to ask my supervisor for leave. Is Yanyu awake yet?"
Nan Jiangmu turned and closed the door. With one hand in his pocket, he walked towards another ward with a faint smile on his face. "You're awake. I was just looking for you. Come back quickly."
Yan Yu leaned against the headboard, his haggard and pale appearance not affecting his handsomeness in the slightest.
Where did she go?
Nan Jiangmu hung up the phone and stood at the head of the man's bed; "I went to the company to ask for leave."
Upon hearing this, Yan Yu's cold eyes flickered slightly, and her tone was heavy: "Isn't she on good terms with Huo Xiting? It's just a matter of a phone call, why bother making a trip?"
Nan Jiangmu was taken aback; "I don't know about that, there might be other things, but she just said that Huo Xiting is not in the company."
Yan Yu turned his head slightly, his eyes instantly becoming deep and unfathomable.
Not at the office?
Just as he was thinking about something, there was a knock on the door.
"Come in."
The icy, emotionless voice made Su Yaoyao's heart tremble uncontrollably.
The moment the door was pushed open, the first thing that came into view was the man's handsome face with its sharp features but slightly pale complexion, and his deep, dark eyes.
He was wearing a white and blue striped hospital gown, which shed his usual aloofness and added a touch of languor and charm.
Su Yaoyao almost subconsciously thought of what happened last night, and her ears inexplicably felt hot.
Their gazes met in the air, creating a subtle, ambiguous atmosphere.
Nan Jiangmu looked at them, wondering why he felt there was something strange about the two of them.
"Go prepare for emergency surgery quickly, don't waste any time."
Yan Yu said this to Nan Jiangmu.
The man in the white coat's eyes flickered slightly, a hint of helplessness on his face. There was no surgery going on now. Could this man find a better way to get rid of him? Nevertheless, he still politely asked Su Yaoyao.
"Could you look after him for me? I have to go now."
Before Su Yaoyao could answer, Nan Jiangmu had already opened the door and left.
"Um... how are you now? Should I call a nurse over?"
Yan Yu raised an eyebrow, seemingly oblivious to her embarrassment; "Come a little closer."
Without thinking much, Su Yaoyao obediently took two steps forward and went directly to the man's bedside.
"What's wrong?"
Thinking that Yan Yu had something on his mind, she bent down slightly and leaned closer to ask.
The unique fragrance of a woman wafted into Yan Yu's nostrils, his eyes darkened slightly, and with a sudden thought, he reached out and pulled Su Yaoyao to her side.
"What are you doing, Yan Yu!"
Su Yaoyao's tone was flustered as she struggled to get up, but then she heard a man's suppressed, painful voice in her ear.
