"Mrs. Ole, is what you're saying true?"
The woman sitting behind the sofa looked somewhat displeased upon hearing this; "Assistant Jiang, do you think I would have any reason to lie to you?"
She paused for a moment, then continued, "I did consider buying that diamond, but Miss Su refused. She said it was a gift from a very important person."
Jiang Chen was stunned. Su Yaoyao didn't sell the diamond to Mrs. O'Leary?
They all initially thought that Su Yaoyao was able to win Mrs. Olay's favor because of the pink diamond, but they never expected that it wasn't the case at all!
Seeing Jiang Chen's ever-changing expression, Lady O'Leary clearly guessed what he was thinking and couldn't help but chuckle.
"Assistant Jiang, you can go back and tell your CEO that Miss Su was able to help Huo's Group secure the cooperation because of her strength."
Jiang Chen let out a breath, stood up, and said to the woman in front of him, "I will go back and explain to the president. I apologize for disturbing you today."
Mrs. O'Leigh smiled, seemingly unconcerned; "You're too kind."
Watching Jiang Chen's departing figure, Lady O'Leary thought to herself, "This is going to be interesting."
It turns out that the pink diamond was a gift from Yu Chiyan to Su Yaoyao.
People online are now criticizing Su Yaoyao for being shameless, using any means necessary to marry into a wealthy family, and preventing two people who truly love each other from being together.

Huo Xiting looked much more haggard these past two days. He had just received another call from a long-term client who wanted to terminate their contract.
Huo Xiting rubbed his temples, feeling a headache coming on.
Seeing his haggard appearance, Wen Qing couldn't help but speak up, "President, the company could be saved simply by the group issuing a statement dismissing Miss Su. Why are you going to all this trouble?"
Huo Xiting's once clean and gentle eyes now held a hint of coldness.
Do you think she didn't think of that?
A hint of confusion flashed across Wen Qing's face. If she knew this, why would Su Yaoyao rather go to Yu Chiyan than leave the Huo family temporarily?
Seeing his puzzled expression, Huo Xiting spoke again: "I will not let her leave Huo's Group."
Seeing the determination on the man's face, Wen Qing's expression changed slightly, and a look of seriousness flashed in her eyes.
It seems that President Huo has taken a liking to Su Yaoyao.

Thinking of what Su Yaoyao said about him being a very important person, Yu Chiyan felt that his behavior last night must have made Su Yaoyao sad, and she might even be hiding under the covers and crying secretly at night.
