Something flashed quickly in the woman's eyes, and she said in surprise, "Is this your ward? Then I must have made a mistake. My family just admitted her to the hospital. I just came from abroad to visit her. I was probably in too much of a hurry and came to the wrong place."
Hearing her say that, Su Yaoyao didn't suspect anything.
The woman spoke up again: "I see your foot is injured. Is no one taking care of you?"
As she spoke, she picked up the water bottle from the ground.
Su Yaoyao smiled; "It was I who told them not to come."
She took the kettle and said thank you.
The two chatted casually for a few more minutes. The woman turned to leave, and Su Yaoyao watched her back. Her heart stirred slightly, and she suddenly asked her what her name was.
The woman turned around, her clean and pretty face beaming with a sunny smile; "My name is Jiang Wen."
She waved to Su Yaoyao with her back turned; "Until we meet again."
As Su Yaoyao watched her retreating figure, her thoughts began to wander again.
“Jiang Wen…”
She murmured the name.
Jiang Wen didn't go to find his so-called family members, but went straight out of the hospital.
The bodyguards in black who had been waiting at the door immediately stepped forward; "Miss, are you going back?"
Jiang Wen didn't answer, but instead let out a long sigh; "Phew... I almost gave myself away just now."
A hint of doubt flashed in Ah Qiang's eyes; "What gave you away?"
Jiang Wen smiled and said, "It's nothing. I said I wasn't going back now. Now that I'm back, let's find a place to have a couple of drinks."
Upon hearing this, Ah Qiang glanced at her face and said, "Miss, your current health is not suitable for drinking alcohol."
Jiang Wen waved casually at him; "Then let's have some juice."
Ah Qiang: "..."
