Yu Chiyan's smile faded slightly, and his dark eyes stared at her for a moment.
"Even after all this, you still don't want to leave the Huo family. Is it because you don't want to, or... because you can't bear to leave?"
His face was expressionless, which made him seem even colder.
Su Yaoyao remained silent, waiting for the man's anger to erupt, but Yu Chiyan simply patted her fair face gently.
"Be good and stop trying to upset me, or you'll be the one who suffers, okay?"
The man's tone was slightly raised, half threatening and half coaxing, which stirred a ripple in Su Yaoyao's heart.

Yu Chiyan only stayed in the Golden Imperial Garden for an hour, and judging from his appearance, it really was just to "capture" Su Yaoyao and bring her back.
Jiang Chen drove him to a restaurant.
Upon opening the door to the private room, one sees a man sitting at the head of the table, exuding a gentle and refined air, yet possessing an extraordinary presence.
"President Yu."
Huo Xiting wore a warm smile, a stark contrast to Yu Chiyan's cold demeanor.
Yu Chiyan came over today without any beating around the bush; "What will it take to release them?"
A glint of malice flashed in Huo Xiting's eyes; "What is President Yu saying? I don't understand."
Yu Chiyan lit a cigar, the smoke completely obscuring the expression on his face.
"You know what I'm talking about, Su Yaoyao."
Huo Xiting's smile softened further; "Miss Su's decision to stay there is her prerogative, and I think we should respect that."
Huo Xiting was clearly feigning ignorance; he sneered, "Some people are beyond your reach."
"Really? I don't think so."
He was unyielding, and Yu Chiyan looked up at him, his eyes filled with a cold and murderous aura.
