"Yaoyao, I'm asking you, why are you at the hospital?"
Su Yaoyao sneered and shook off the man's hand that was gripping her wrist; "Would you believe me if I said I followed you here to catch you cheating?"
Upon hearing this, Yu Chiyan's eyes darkened; "Yaoyao, stop fooling around."
Su Yaoyao blinked her sore eyes; "Making a scene? You think I'm making a scene? Yu Chiyan, isn't the current situation enough to prove that I successfully caught them in the act?"
Yu Chiyan's face darkened completely; "Su Yaoyao, don't talk nonsense."
Su Yaoyao suppressed the urge to slap him twice, her cold voice filled with anger and grievance.
"Yu Chiyan, am I wrong? Aren't you secretly meeting with your beloved? If you care about her so much, why won't you give her a proper status? Do you know that by doing this, Su Qingqing is a mistress!"
As soon as she finished speaking, Su Qingqing in the ward pulled out the IV from the back of my hand, ran barefoot to Su Yaoyao, grabbed her hand, and explained in a panic.
"No, sister, you've misunderstood. Chi Yan and I are innocent. I was the one who pestered him to take care of me. It has nothing to do with Chi Yan. Sister, please don't be angry with him."
Su Qingqing's fingernails were very long, and she gripped Su Yaoyao's arm with great force. Su Yaoyao felt a sharp pain in her arm and angrily flung her hand away.
"Don't touch me!"
Su Qingqing's eyes widened instantly, filled with tears. She lost her balance and crashed heavily onto the cold, hard ground.
Yu Chiyan's expression changed slightly; "Su Qingqing!"
The man quickly knelt down and personally helped Su Qingqing up; "Are you alright?"
Su Qingqing grabbed Yu Chiyan's hand, her pale face streaked with tears.
"I'm fine, Chi Yan. My sister didn't push me on purpose, please don't blame her."
The man then frowned and looked at Su Yaoyao; "Su Yaoyao, don't go too far, apologize to Su Qingqing!"
Apologize?
She sneered inwardly.
He realized that his strength was insufficient to make Su Qingqing fall to the ground; clearly, she did it on purpose.
Upon hearing Yu Chiyan's words, Su Yaoyao suddenly moved closer to the two of them, looking at Su Qingqing with red eyes.
"An apology isn't enough, I have to bow and bend over!"
As soon as she finished speaking, she raised her hand and slapped Su Qingqing hard across the face, amidst Su Qingqing's puzzled gaze!
"Smack!"
The crisp sound of a slap rang out, and Su Yaoyao took two steps back, bowing to Su Qingqing; "I'm sorry, Miss Su, my hand was itching to slap you, I'm sure you're so magnanimous that you'll forgive me!"
After saying this, she turned and left without waiting for the two of them to react.
Realizing what had happened, Su Qingqing covered her face, tears streaming down her cheeks, and looked at Yu Chiyan; "Chiyan, my sister..."
Yu Chiyan's cold voice reached Su Yaoyao's ears from behind.
"Don't worry, I won't let you get beaten up for nothing."
Su Yaoyao's vision blurred, and she reached out to wipe away the tears in her eyes, inwardly mocking herself.
Would Yu Chiyan still slap Su Qingqing back for her sake?
