Can you customize advertising signs?
They replied very quickly.
"Yes, that's possible. What are your requirements?"
"I'd like you to design a billboard for freshly squeezed watermelon juice, and write down all the details of the promotion..."
Just as Yu Hui finished communicating with the manufacturer, Fatty Li waved and called out to him.
"Xiao Yu, come here for a second!"
"What's wrong?" Yu Hui walked up to Fatty Li and asked.
Fatty Li wiped the sweat from his forehead and said helplessly, "Could you give me some pointers here?"
Today was the first time he had cooked for everyone, and it would be a lie to say he wasn't nervous.
"What are you doing today?" Yu Hui crossed his arms, looking every bit the strict teacher!
"I'm planning to make salt-baked chicken, steamed eggs, stir-fried pork ribs, and hand-torn cabbage," Fatty Li said, scratching his head.
"These four dishes are all quite good." Yu Hui was a little confused as to what Fatty Li wanted him to give him pointers on.
Fatty Li grinned sheepishly. "Xiao Yu, my salt-baked chicken never seems to be very flavorful. What's wrong with it?"
"Not flavorful enough?" Yu Hui said. "There could be many reasons, the most common being that the chicken is too big, or that it wasn't heated evenly and wasn't marinated properly."
After he finished speaking, he took a closer look at the chicken marinating in the basin.
How long have you marinated this chicken?
"It's been about twenty minutes."
Fatty Li explained, "I bought this chicken from the market yesterday. It only weighs a little over two pounds, which is perfect for salt-baking."
Yu Hui nodded.
He agreed with that statement.
This chicken is indeed of good quality; it seems that Fatty Li really put his heart into it this time.
"You've only been marinating it for about twenty minutes, and we'll be eating in half an hour..."
"Isn't an hour of marinating enough?"
"It's best to marinate it the night before, seal it with a plastic wrap to preserve the flavor, and then steam it the next day so that the flavor can fully penetrate."
"Marinate for a whole day and night?" Fatty Li looked surprised. "Does it need that long?"
"Of course not," Yu Hui explained patiently. "Cooking is a slow and meticulous process; being too eager for quick results will only backfire!"
"What do we do now?" Fatty Li asked, looking troubled.
"It's alright," Yu Hui said while putting on his gloves. "Let me massage this chicken for you first. You can cook the other dishes first, and it would be best to steam this chicken later."
"In this hot weather, there's no need to worry about the dishes getting cold."
"Okay!" Fatty Li nodded and started making hand-torn cabbage, with Yu Hui supervising him from the side.
With this teacher, Fatty Li became much more confident in cooking.
Whenever he was unsure of what to do, he would ask Yu Hui for advice.
At this point, Yu Hui would give him a reply immediately, without any hesitation.
Time passed little by little.
An hour and a half later.
Fatty Li finished cooking all four dishes.
Yu Hui, Pan Tiezhu, Ye Yiqiu, and Li Pangzi were eating together.
As is customary, before eating, everyone will first praise the chef for the day.
Pan Tiezhu: "Wow, it smells so good! Chef Li, thank you for your hard work today."
Ye Yiqiu: "Yes, I can't wait to start eating!"
Yu Hui: "Fatty's skills are quite impressive!"
"No way!"
Fatty Li was overjoyed, grinning from ear to ear.
But he still humbly said, "This is all thanks to Xiao Yu!"
The food Li Pangzi made this time tasted great, and everyone enjoyed it.
After the meal, everyone got busy with their own tasks.
The weather has turned cooler these past few days, and there have been many more tourists coming to climb the mountain.
There are noticeably more tourists coming to patronize the business.
Yu Hui could clearly feel that his workload had increased significantly in the past few days.
By 5 p.m., all the ingredients Yu Hui had prepared for the day were sold out.
Beep beep!
He had just finished his business and returned home when he received a message from [Haotian Packaging Customization].
"Hello boss, your customized milk tea cup and promotional sign have been ordered."
"Okay, then bring it to me tomorrow!"
After the chat ended, the owner of Haotian Factory made a phone call to the workshop supervisor.
"Hey, there's an order for the mountaintop tomorrow. Get it dispatched as soon as possible."
"The mountaintop?" The workshop supervisor frowned. "The mountaintop is so difficult to climb, I doubt anyone will offer to help!"
"I don't care, this task is yours. If no dispatcher accepts the order, then you'll have to deliver it yourself!"
“This…” The workshop supervisor frowned.
The boss interrupted him: "By the way, this order comes with a 300 yuan tip. With such a generous tip, there must be a lot of dispatchers vying to take the order!"
"A tip?" The workshop supervisor's eyes widened. "Sure, with this tip, things will be much easier!"
After hanging up the phone, the workshop supervisor immediately contacted Xiao He, the dispatcher.
"I have an order for a mountaintop tomorrow, and I'll give it to you."
"The mountaintop?" Xiao He frowned, muttering to himself, "This lousy job, it's exhausting, and I only make four thousand a month."
"Now look what's happened! They actually want me to deliver goods to the top of the mountain? This is outrageous!"
He was about to refuse when he heard his supervisor sigh deeply.
“Hey, I know you dispatchers work hard, getting up early and working late every day. I managed to get a subsidy of 120 yuan from the boss.”
"If you're willing, this subsidy is yours."
"A subsidy?" The dispatcher's hostility lessened slightly. "Wait a minute, let me think about it."
